I would like to Thank Ascent in particular Peter Smith- for a very long road we walked together- enabling me to conclude and pay a loan against my daughter’s property- I was able to seek finance then via solicitor purchase the debt- this enabled my daughters family to remain in the property- this was a very difficult time due multiple problems caused a range of unusual problems - including DV & I’ll health- However I can not speak more highly of Peter Smith- he was there to listen and we talked through best ways to resolve issues as thy cropped up. I was able to email- and call in and leave a message for him to contact me if he wasn’t available- giving me chance to go through the new development s - when he was back at work- He never failed to call when appt was made - I had helpful thoughtful responses even when I sometimes had to leave matters with him and fixing call back times. There were very sensitive need’s regarding family issues - We did however communicate once a month to keep on top- This person is a credit to the company- it was a long journey to resolve and all matters are now settled. Thank you once again Peter! This person company should offer his skills in training new staff , his customer services are outstanding .

I was alone also very frightened in taking the next step in moving forward. On meeting the lovely lady she was patient kind also caring. Sarah put me at ease by being so very patient also understanding.explaining that she wasn't there to take my property. She was indeed to support me in trying to move forward by taking bit size steps.i had gotten myself into the lowest of all lows.trying to survive on such a low income also family crisis.
I hope and I pray that I can indeed move forward slowly on this path of recovery.

I spoke to Angel and she was great! This was my first time calling in but she made me feel at ease. At the start I was very scared as I had not received a single letter from Ascent but Angel reassured me throughout, and was very understanding.

I had an amazing customer service experience today from Alfie at Ascent Legal. I had called for feedback on a decision to be made by mortgage lenders with regard accepting an offer of payment of mortgage arrears to avoid possession of my home. You can well imagine how distressed I was as it was Friday. I would have to be in suspense the whole weekend as this feedback had not arrived.
Alfie was not only polite and respectful but he empathised with me and my circumstances. He would not go off the line until I had stopped crying.
Just when he had managed to calm me down he took the time to check over and over again for the email.
It arrived just when we we had finished the call. Had it not been for his patience, kindness and show of empathy not to talk about going the extra mile would have led to a sad story. I had palpitations at this point. I thought his colleagues Naomi and Susanne had been great at their jobs but Alfie had really restored my faith in humanity.

Ashley from Mortgage Services has been great every time I've called this week, which has been a lot as trying to finalise my redemption. He has taken the time to explain things, answer my questions and put my mind at ease. He's found out information for me that he didn't need to but really helped me feel more settled about what i need to go and what happens next. He's helped with the next steps when another company hasn't been as open and up front
