Superb little stereo A/D converter with pre-amp

I wanted to capture music from some old vinyl LPs, and after locating suitable software I needed an analog to USB audio converter of better quality than those I already knew about. ARTcessories drew praise from a few writers, and I eventually bought their USB Phono Plus.

The compact unit weighs 13.25 ounces, fits within 4.5 x 4.5 x 1.75 inches, is USB powered, features optical to and from USB, S/PDIF to USB, analog audio input with switchable phono pre-amp and switchable rumble filter, gain and monitor level controls, and a level/clip indicator.

This is more versatility than I needed for less than I expected to spend, the audio is flawless, and the design is a pleasure to behold.

Thank you A.R.T. !
