Retro upgrade
I decided to change the original dials to ones that are easier to read and give a vintage appearance. Pleased with result. Quick service but surprised had to pay additional delivery costs to UPS.

Not entirely what thought I would get..
First of all, the good: I want to say that the design of these gauge faces is superb. Frankly, Triumph should have used these in their designs for the Thruxton 1200R. Quite a beautiful design. The fitting is easy, precise and pretty quick - less than 30 minutes once the gauge cluster is in your hands and off the bike.
However, the not-so-good: once on the bike, they look great in the daylight. However, at night, on the tachometer's redline, there is a very noticeable area that isn’t illuminated right in the middle of its length, and it looks pretty naff to be honest. The instructions for application (which I read thoroughly first), make it clear that you mustn’t touch the clock faces before application (only touching the edges) which I did, as instructed, so this is exactly how they arrived with me in the UK from Arton Works - are they all like this? if so, why? It should and could be better for the price - they arent cheap, but in the dark, this aspect makes them look poorly made in my opinion. Pity.

Regarding the red line lighting, the original dashboard in that spot has no LEDs, so at night the inner part is less illuminated, it's a compromise we had to accept to keep the graphic style close to the racing bikes.
Unfortunately, we cannot add a LED on the original dashboard and could not make the line shorter for aesthetic reasons.
Regarding the instruction, as described the important thing NOT to do is to touch the inside of the clear glass windows of the original dashboard when it is disassembled as they have a surface coating that will stain if touched. Everything else can be handled without any problems.
