An excellent drama school and agency for budding actors
Articulate Drama School and Agency have been fantastic since we joined back in September 2021 when classes opened in Harrogate. The drama school offers excellent coaching in all aspects of screen acting with lessons focused on honing those skills while still having fun and making new friends.
The teachers are all exceptionally knowledgeable and because they all have professional experience, they can really teach the students how to focus on their acting skills but also about to conduct themselves on set when filming and how to manage their expectations in what is a very competitive industry.
Since joining classes, my daughter has developed her confidence and public speaking skills as well as her acting skills. The classes definitely teach transferrable skills that will be very useful for her.
The agency is attached to the drama school and offers opportunities to work as a support artist to have on-set experiences and see what it is actually like to film for TV and films. These experiences are valuable as the students learn that working as an actor is actually long hours and hard work. But it can also be fun too.
The agents are really approachable and you can phone to chat about how the child can move into speaking roles and gain more auditions. They have a development programme that helps students achieve this.
I can’t rate them highly enough.
