Contacted the Wakefield office to hire a van and did so on 28/8/25 till the 29th. I wanted an automatic so the only real van was the Electric one. Graham in the office was very helpful and when collecting it the lady in the office was very efficient (sorry cant remember her name). The electric van was brilliant to use and easy to drive and I would hire it again if needed. When returning the vehicle the lady was again very efficient. I would thoroughly recommend the Wakefield office and the electric van which was a pleasure to use it is ideal for local use.

They were rude, we provided all the details we could and they accused us of using a fraudulent ID. With no basis whatsoever apart from saying he didn’t think it looked like me. The ID was in date and I had other documentation to cross confirm my identity. They also asked for a £300 security deposit, which no other company in the area does. The man we spoke to aswell was extremely pompous, which explains all the unused vans in their lot. Went to a different company down the road and was seen to in minutes for a better price. Save your sanity go somewhere else.

A small issue arose when I recieved an email in error after a customer had accidently used my email address in a complete one in a million situation.

I contacted Paul Kendrick who was extremely professional and efficient in handling this.

I cannot thank him and his team enough for their support.

On the way they acted, I would 100% use this company to rent a vehicle in the future.

They gave my name and address to Parking Control Management in respect of a parking fine that occurred a month before I hired their van so I've just been hit with a £100 van and am wasting time I don't really have trying to sort it all out. Terrible inefficiency from an other wise good company.

I've hired a lot of vehicles over the years and Arrow Self Drive were a dream to deal with. They really helped, they worked with me to sort the collection, then worked with me on the return, pleasure to deal with, the office staff just made it work. Thank you. Dave Fawcett.

There were no sensors working at the rear so when reverse parking my husband touched a post and made a small dent at the back for which they wanted to charge £750. There were lots of dents at the back so likely many others had the same problem. The Manager argued that you should get out and walk to the back of the van always when reversing. That's ridiculous. The sensors should work so without them the van is not fit for the road. I honestly believe this is a scam to get an extortionate amount of money from unbeknowing customers who expect the parking sensors to work.

They rented us a faulty vehicle then expect us to pay through the nose to fix a tiny dent which ultimately was their fault.

The manager Paul, said they had to put it into the body shop for repair but that is also nonsense as there were loads of dents that had not been repaired so they don't do any repairs they just SCAM you out of a large sum of money

I'm.going to take them to court as this is outrageous.

Hired a 9seat minibus for a family holiday in October, and the guys at Arrow were brilliant. They were the best price in Reading and have reasonably young vehicles, and off an out of hours drop off. The book out and check in process was easy and efficient, with no dramas. The Web site told me everything I needed to know, and posted current flat rate charges, unlike the others that require 60 questions answered and adjust the rate (depending on the weather etc) to maximise the price. Hence choosing Arrow was a no brainer.

WHAT A BAD AND NASTY COMPANY THIS IS WAS ASK TO GO FOR A INTERVIEW ON 20/07/22 AT 13.30 ATTENDED BUT NO INTERVIEW AS PERSON WHO INTERVIEWS WENT OUT AND DID NOT LET ME KNOW SO WHILE I WAS THERE WE RE SCHEDULED FOR FRIDAY 22/07/22 AT 10.40am BUT ON 21/07/22 U RECEIVED A CALL TELLING ME THE POSITION WAS NOW TAKEN I HAVE NOT HAD ANY INTERVIEWS AT ALL AND HOW CAN YOU FILL A POSITION WITHOUT SEEING ALL OF THE APPLICANTS OBVIOUSLY THIS HAS GONE TO FRIENDS OR FAMILY I RANG AMY THE SO CALLED MANAGER TO ASK WHY I WAS NOT EVEN SEEN AND WAS TOLD THATS MY CHOICE AHE WOULD NOT EVEN GIVE ME HEAD OFFICE CONTACT DETAILS TO GET IN TOUCH WITH.AMY IF ALL MANAGERS AT ARROW SELF DRIVE ARE LIKE YOU I PITTY THE FUTURE FOR THE COMPANY .

Viewed website which says disabled access vehicles available. After contacting them it's Not True, they don't have any.

Recently arrow vehicle knocked our wall down. Contacted them but they showed no interest in the matter. They said they have 50 vehicles. I was asking them to find the one damaged vehicle as it must also be damaged after knocking the wall. Also the driver seemed like he was drunk as he got into the vehicle and just drove straight into the wall.
They don’t want to take responsibility for the damage. Even though video evidence was provided showing clearly that their vehicle did the damage.
Not a good company ! No responsibility to the public. Just a quick money spinner. Shame on arrow self drive !
