I have just wasted 7 years with Arriaga Asociados who were recommended as my Bank in Spain was suspected of over charging on a bank loan, it turns out the money that was paid back into my Spanish Bank account was mainly for Arriaga expenses!!!! So the original deposit of 200 euros was purely for Arriaga virtually nothing for me, this became clear 7years later having managed to get an appointment at last week found out they were a complete waste of my time especially as was threatened to pay Arriaga by law so the money paid by my Bank into my account was for Arriaga not me, the company was impossible to communicate with once they received their fees. Virtually all their offices are non existent or phones answered by people who have no knowledge of my enquiries. My contact details 07590 263636

Steve, I’m truly sorry for the experience you describe, seven years waiting, unclear information about the amounts recovered, and difficulty reaching anyone when you needed answers. It’s completely understandable that you feel disappointed and misled, especially if the final outcome didn’t match what you expected from the beginning.
In the last few months we’ve been restructuring departments and moving files between different teams, and that has caused delays, poor communication and unanswered enquiries that affected many clients. This is something we’re actively fixing, especially in cases where communication has been inconsistent for too long.
Your situation deserves a clear explanation: what was paid by the bank, why certain costs applied, and what part corresponded to you. We want to review your file so you finally get transparent answers.
We’re sending you a request for information so we can look into your case directly and clarify everything step by step.
Arriaga invoices you for the interests of the amount the bank pays back
I find really irregular that Arriaga invoices me to get the interests of the amount that has bene paid back by the bank. They say this is to pay for the work of the lawyer but in fact they get 100 euros at the start and also they will get the payment of the cost of the process so BE VERY CAREFUL as Arriaga gets more money than you in the whole process
