My daughter had £60,000 in a joint investment with her partner. AW permitted her partner on 4 occasions to withdraw half of the investment without her knowledge or consent. AW’s response is to refuse to recompense her believing she in some way must have benefitted from the money.
When I said I would share her experience to warn others they threatened legal action.
You make your own mind up but look at the complaints made against AW to the Financial Ombudsman on their website.

When you are in the office talking to your accountant, things are great, What goes wrong is do not expect any contact, oversight or care outside of this one hour window, I have had to comb over every document sent to me in the past 2 years constantly finding mistakes that could potentially have cost me hundreds if not thousands if were not unchecked. This is from you being just a number to them and churned through in bulk as just another customer. I have even been overcharged and double charged for services already paid and when presented with evidence of this all they do is close ranks and double down with denial and scripted responses. Find yourself a more personal company with more customer touch points and ways in which to communicate.

Utterly incompetent. I never chose this firm of cowboys to work with, my account was passed to them. Even though you are paying them to manage your funds, don’t expect a response for 3 weeks. However do expect misspellings in your name, incorrect address despite multiple requests to update it, them to delay the closure of your account to cover their yearly fee. Unpleasant experience from start to finish. From start to finish it took 9 months to close my account and endless stress, ignoring of emails and rude treatment.

Seek advice before joining this company for a career especially as a female, (they are definitely not with you!) unless you are a male, & even then its short lived. Its a revolving door.
