I employed them for two cases, one of which was paid in full last September (now 11 months ago). I have had no correspondence regardless of the number of emails I send to them. When I call them I get told nobody can assist me on the phone and I have to email. I explained I have done this numerous times and had no response. They have taken a percentage but also hold onto it as long as they can to make interest too! Seem like more of a con than the people who owed money

I would not recommend AYOM based on my experience.

I instructed them to recover a debt and communication has been extremely poor. I have repeatedly had to chase them by email and telephone just to find out what is happening with my own case.

Payments have been collected from my debtor but I was not properly informed when payments were received. I have received no money myself and getting clear answers about my case has been extremely difficult.

Instead of receiving proper case specific explanations I have repeatedly been referred back to their portal and terms and conditions.

After such a long period of poor communication and having to constantly chase for information I have completely lost confidence in their service and have decided to terminate their instruction and use another debt recovery company.

My advice to anyone considering AYOM is to read the terms carefully and research customer experiences before instructing them.

Awful company, they collect the debt from the customer but then do not send it to you. You cannot call Finance, or the MD Rob Logan, no one replies.

We instructed them on a corporate collection. They collected the funds but like so many here, never paid us either.
We sued them and after 18 months (2024 to 2025) of non communication with us, they settled out of court, and did pay our lawyers (within around 48 hours). And we got our costs back too. So do not give up. But you are best to steer well clear of them.

I've been dealing with this company for 2 years to recover money from a court order , they have my money but now they won't pay me anything, not replying to any emails and they say the customer service department that pays out doesn't have a phone number, so will have to take them to court now

Terrible company. 100% do not trust them with your debt recovery - they get the money then refuse to hand it over to you. They don’t have a contact number for claiming your money back - just a bunch of arrogant staff in the collections dept that just fob you off telling you to email and you don’t ever get any reply. I can’t stress enough do not consider using this company.

The company have received all the money owed to me but have not paid it to me. Despite many many calls and emails, I get no response and no money! This company only cares about getting the money from debtors but not paying it to those instructing them. Absolutely disgraceful! Do not use this company!

You have a chance to be a legitimate company but instead you choose to be as bad as the debtors that led your prospective clients to you.

What a shame. How this is even a legal business in this country, I have no idea.

We engaged AYOM to collect c. £12,500 in unpaid invoices back in 2023, then ensued a shambolic period where confidential information was shared to the wrong debtors, endless back and forth asking us for the same info time and again, they eventually started collecting debts but we had to wait 90 days for payout to us, which came and went, along with endless excuses, then additional invoices and charges arrived... enough is enough, went to court, had a full hearing which they didn't turn up for, now lodging appeals based on utter nonsense in order to string it out... we're in it for the long haul because these crooks don't deserve to be in business... they don't make money by collecting fees on debts they collect, they make money by charging YOU and then keeping the debts collected too!!

They are all scammers!
They obtained the funds from the original 3rd party in January and are now refusing to pay us, despite waiting far longer than the 90 days. I will need to seek another dept collecting company to pursue them . DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. Will be reporting to the financial ombudsman.

Be warned. They have collected the debt but not paid out. You can only email them and do not receive a reply. I presume they are a scam?

Do NOT use this firm...at all costs I am reporting them to the Financial services Ombudsman and to Companies House...they should cease trading and be called upon to pay up all the debts they have collected and not actually paid the customer. This is by far one of the most unprofessional debt collection companies I have ever dealt with. Their complete lack of communication is unacceptable, phone calls go unanswered, and emails are consistently ignored.

Despite being entrusted to manage financial matters, they have repeatedly failed to provide any transparency regarding payments owed to me. Funds appear to be unnecessarily delayed or withheld without proper explanation, which raises serious concerns about their processes and integrity.

The overall experience has been extremely frustrating and time-consuming, caused entirely by their inefficiency and lack of accountability. A company operating in this sector should be reliable, responsive, and transparent — this one is none of those.

After hiring them back in June 2022 to recover a debt and still trying to receive payment from them 4 years later, I would strongly advise others to avoid using this company.

They are scammers, I was never paid the money, they just took it and run. Now no longer replying to emails or any form of contact.

AYOM Debt Recovery are attempting to chase a debt that was formally disputed from the outset, as the work they claim to have invoiced for was never actually carried out. This was raised at the time, yet they have chosen to ignore the facts completely.
To make matters worse, they have now sent letters directly to ROF UK Ltd regarding this alleged debt, despite the company never receiving any invoice or formal documentation in relation to it. Chasing payment without ever issuing a valid invoice is completely unacceptable and shows a serious lack of process.
I am also no longer associated with the company they are referring to, yet they continue to contact me regardless. This is both incorrect and highly unprofessional.
Their approach appears to be based on pressure and persistence rather than any genuine investigation into whether the debt is valid. Repeated emails and letters for a non-existent debt is not only a waste of time, it borders on harassment.
Companies operating in this way should be properly investigated, as this behaviour raises serious concerns about their practices and standards.
I would strongly advise anyone to think twice before engaging with them.

Failed to recover anything, No progress updates, Did not respond to email requests, Failed to respond to requests for money recovered. This company does the absolute minimum and agrees without any contact repayment plans on a £10,000 debt of £10 per month and £40 per month, which are never received. They provide no engagement. They then do not even have the courtesy to update you when they close the case, without providing any breakdown of what small funds they have received, which obviously they are keeping, as they failed to recover the minimum to be able to take their percentage.
