Our experience with the Ares project owners was profoundly disappointing. While they initially came across as persuasive and promising, even encouraging us to invest significant time and resources into the venture, the outcome was far from what was anticipated.

They gave the impression of being fully committed to the project’s success. However, just as we were nearing the critical launch phase, they unexpectedly withdrew their involvement—without offering any valid or acceptable explanation. This sudden exit left us in a difficult position and caused major financial and operational challenges.

Their conduct reflected a lack of professionalism and accountability that no business should have to face. For those seeking dependable and principled collaborators, I would recommend proceeding with great caution regarding this team.

I was sold on Ares because they made it seem as though I was going to make loads of sales from the projections they provided. They told me that cataloging was the key to their success and once we are slotted in the right place then we would see some serious returns. This was unfortunately not the case...not even close. Our sales remained about the same, however, we had to pay WAY more than we were used to.

I think a big problem is management in general. Over the 10 or so months I was with them, I had 7 or 8 different account managers. Even some of the upper management who had recently arrived, left within the timeframe I was with them.

They would only have one star if it weren't for many of the well-intentioned people that worked there. They actually do some good creative work and implement it well.

If you are looking for someone to run your Amazon seller account then they are fine to manage it but don't expect any increased sales.

I've been in the eCommerce industry for over 10 years and worked with a lot of agencies along the way; including project managers, media specialists, performance analysts, budget optimisation teams and many other roles that all coordinate to deliver successful results for a specific project - Ares Projects has been all of this and much more. From the inception of the ice-breaking, first meeting with Charlie and Lukasz, which was a call packed with knowledge, excitement and passion for their work, to structured internal brand discussions to sketch out a plan of direction and rough timeline to give realistic expected completion timeframes for work; the Ares Projects team have delivered excellent results for our first project.

That being said, positivity wouldn't be without its criticisms. The Ares Projects team is a worldwide team, for which they have hand picked talented individuals from around the world that know all the avenues of the various Amazon marketplaces. If dealing with teams where English likely isn't their first language, then this agency may not be for you as sometimes it can be difficult to have more granular discussions about specific products, artwork and brand themes. However, that hasn't stopped Ares Projects delivering results that were impressive; developing artwork and an entire brand library for a brand that realistically didn't have many assets to work with from the beginning. Their international strength has brought new and creative ideas to our brand that otherwise wouldn't have been possible.

Charlie and Lukasz have both been incredibly responsive to our feedback, equally taking the time to learn more about our brand and guide it in a direction that will inject more revenue, customers and result in greater market share. Our initial project and understanding of our goals wasn't the clearest; it was messy but had great intentions of securing results to continue its growth. We needed a partner and found two passionate individuals that have been through the thick of it in their previous businesses, much to my understanding, and have forged a business capable of helping the small, one-man-band ventures to scale and grow, as well as the larger corporate clients looking to go to the next level. Charlie and Lukasz are at the helm with an immense amount of passion for those that they work with and I'd like to now think of them as friends and not just "another agency" on the monthly invoice schedule.

Agree with the other review calling this company a "Scam". I'm a small business and it took me around 3 years to get my Amazon business to a profitable level. I then took on Ares projects as they promised high sales potential/growth and set the targets to grow my business and take it to the next level, sales declined every month until we were doing 70% less than the prior year and no one was listening to my requests on advertising spend so we were losing money every month as the ACOS was so high. I would go as far as say they destroyed my Amazon business as i lost all my organic rankings i worked hard to grow. VERY disappointing experience. You wont hear from any of the management team again, they ignored all my emails and emails received from the PPC were clearly not understood. Don't do it.
