in the UK? don’t bother

Saw that wigs took 4-6 weeks to ship. Ordered £160 worth of stock for a convention 9 weeks before, to be safe. Order was marked as undeliverable and was returned to sender on week 8, with no notification, and it was needed for a performance overseas. I’m now thoroughly screwed over.

There was also no reason that the order was “undeliverable” as I have used the same address multiple times for overseas orders.

Rude customer service

My review is about Arda wigs Europe. Wig quality is ok but you might have to wait over 4 months before your order arrives. Customer service is rude and unfriendly. Webside prices are before taxes but it's understandable since Arde is original from US.

I ordered two wigs for Comic con from…

I ordered two wigs for Comic con from Arda. I had heard many good things about them and I was ready to spend a bit more than my usual Amazon or beauty supply store wigs.

Arda advertises to the cosplay community. I assumed these are going to live up to being next to our detailed costumes and being at a con

I wore both wigs once. Each one- one day at a con. I ordered the Luthien and the Harley Quinn

For more context I own about 10 other wigs. I have washed some. I have detangled them all after wearing. I store them nicely

For more context I do cosplay fitness on social media and many of my previous wigs have held up to sweaty workouts in cosplay.

After one comic con and a photo shoot the Luthien wig was a complete tangled mess.

I watched their videos on YouTube and tried their painstaking techniques of combing and heat style ….it did not work. This took hours. I tried my own techniques I used before (I have actually posted these on my TikTok) and tried washing and setting. After that. It was even MORE tangled. It was mind boggling and super frustrating

I work a lot and by the time three untangling sessions had actually occurred it was three months after the purchase. I wanted to wear the wig and I could not. At this point I was now using my Amazon 9.99 wig for this costume since their 45 dollar wig - which should have been the upgrade. Was a tangled disaster.

I had initially emailed their website according to their instructions. Four days later no response. They emailed me a “come back discount” meant to lure old customers into rebuying. I responded to this with the above details

They refused a return. They directed me to watch their videos (the ones I watched five times already ) and maybe try fabric softener sheets ( incurr more expenses after two bottles of wig detangler and whatever wig shampoo’s and conditioner I had used)

They told me longer styles were more prone to tangling but their Luthien model was tangle resistant. This was the model I bought. If they bothered to look up my account they would have seen this. I used the email I used for purchase to contact them.

They offered me ten percent off my next purchase.

Why in the world would I buy another product? Besides it not holding up they are not responsive or don’t bother to even see what customer they are talking to

If I had never owned a wig before I would understand this response. If I hadn’t spent hours trying to detangle this I would understand their reaction

If they offered me an exchange or to send it back and have them detangle this. I would have happily paid

Instead I’m telling you do not buy from them

You can buy a better quality wig that will not tangle on Amazon or really anywhere else at these prices. With much better customer service

Extremely dissapointed…

I bought the “jaguar” model in desert brown. Everything in total costed me 42€. It came so overly thick and looked huge on my head. It tangled more than my cheap Ali express wigs. I thought some cutting and styling would fix that. I spent over an hour trying to cut one piece of the bangs and I’m still not done because of how horrible the fibre quality is. My scissors won’t even go through a small piece of hair, so how am I supposed to style the entire wig? I’m extremely disappointed in this company as I heard many people recommend it for their professional quality wigs, but all I received was an un-stylable, awkward looking wig.

Got foam clay from arda wigs USA

Got foam clay from arda wigs USA, not my usual place to go to get foam clay but I thought I'd try it out especially when someone recommend it to me. I purchased the foam clay and waited for around a month and a half due to their move. I was patient enough to wait for the product and then I got it, opened it and was left with absolute disappointment. The box had no receipt of order let alone no business card and only a return label. But the most upsetting part of it was the Lumins foam clay that was dried so solid and was hard to break off. It was poorley sealed to begin with and was not rendered usable as I tried to add water to see if it would budge but it sucked it up like concrete. I think I will be sticking to the usual store I go to instead of trying anymore of ardas products just to be disappointed months later.

Top-notch cosplay wigs

Definitely one of my favorites, I've been buying from them for years and never had a single problem. Shipping is always quick and on time, and the products themselves are excellent. Highly recommend!
