I placed a small order with AW for some arrows and spare parts as a test, as my previous supplier wasn't providing a good service.
I found the website easy to use and navigate and noted the information regarding delivery times etc.
When at the end of the following day I'd not received any tracking info I sent an email asking for some idea of when I could expect despatch. An email reply came before 09:00 the following day, from a chap called Dan telling me that my arrows were being made right then and should be in the post later in the day.
I was really pleased to hear that the arrows I'd ordered were actually being made and weren't just an 'off the shelf' item. That told me that these guys were not just box shifters!
Sure enough the email arrived later in the day notifying me that my items had shipped.
They arrived next day (today) and were really well packed.
The arrows of course went straight to the bow and are great. I'm really pleased with my purchase, great product and great service.
Myself and my small band of fellow archers will definitely be coming back to AW whenever we need supplies.
No reply to emails, no reply to the website contact form, no answer when phoning up.
Trying to contact regarding an item that shows as in stock, but then out of stock when ordering, so website seems a bit broken also.
Seems safer to go elsewhere
I went to AW with a shopping list of items I thought I needed...but didn't.... thankfully John sorted me out in the first 5 mins.
He gave me his time and experience to sort my bow out, watched me shoot and corrected my stance, anchor point, arm position and posture. A quality service, outstanding customer service and as a newbie to archery I totally recommend AW for all your needs.
Great friendly shop. Recently bought my new Hoyt Stratos from Archery World. Bow arrived within a week and set up perfectly by the the knowledgeable staff. Particularly thanks to Dan and John.

I visited the store with my beginner son aged 15. We were served by Pete who couldn’t be more helpful. Patient, knowledgeable and didn’t force sales at any point. We were there for 2 hours while my son spent his savings on the best he could afford and left a very happy young man. We will definitely be back.
He threw me away at the door claiming that they wouldn't sell to beginners despite nothing on their business portfolio explaining this. I implore anyone in the market to stay away from this shop.
The “inclusive” name of Archery World is misleading. If you are not an olympic shooter you will be arrogantly and bluntly told to leave. Worst customer experience I have ever had. A terrible person. Just infuriatingly arrogant and condescending
Ordered several accessories online, never arrived. No communication from shop, no order confirmation, no dispatch information, no reply to email, no one answers the phone. Glad I paid via PayPal they were very helpful and instantly refunded me. AW-UK useless, PayPal people lovely.
I have given this online shop one star as you cannot give zero stars.
I was given a voucher for Christmas (only £15). When I tried to spend it -, it came back as invalid, contacted "Peter" (Jan 2022). at the shop who told me that this was a in shop voucher not an online voucher but her would change it .
It is now Mid may 2022 an despite frequent reminders form myself I have heard nothing back.

Ordered online. I accidentally ordered to be dispatched to my billing address rather than my intended delivery address which is my fault admittedly. I tried to phone them at least 20 times in the next 3 days with no answer, no exaggeration. I emailed them with no response also to try to fix the delivery address. The package was mailed nonetheless to my billing address about a week later and it took a great deal of effort and cost on my part to actually get my package. The bow seems fine though now I've got it.
Was going to visit shop....
Even though the government has said no more mask mandates. This shop is still inforcing it !!??
Needless to say, we took our business elsewhere.

I have been using Archery World for 5 years now. They have supplied me with archery kit and advice since my days as a beginner.
I find the staff to be friendly and helpful, with good knowledge as they are all archers. If they don't have something in stock, they will look into getting hold of it for you and will be honest with you.
There is also a range at this shop, for use by Archery GB archers or customers looking to try new kit (with the supervision of staff). This is currently undergoing renovation to make it bigger and better!
Will be using AW for years to come.
This store is not interested in answering questions to new customers. I was going to spend a considerable amount of money and I was interested in a Samick Sage. I added the Sage to my basket but it tells me that it's not in stock, despise the "in stock" on the bow's page. I asked if they had the bow and they replied (once) that they will have it "tomorrow". Well, "tomorrow" was the same and a few days after that. It showed that it was not in stock (and still is today, 10/05/2020 - "Products marked with *** are not available in the desired quantity or not in stock!"). I asked again after a few days (and after I bought a Core Shift from them) and I'm still waiting for the answer. I ended up buying the Samick Sage, 36 arrows, 3 quivers, finger tabs and a hard case from Merlin Archery because this store didn't reply.
Rude staff/owner after buying products they refused to reply to any correspondence/questions
