Visited AP Tyres at 8.00am Sat 6th April 2024 to arrange refurb of my alloys and collect loan wheels. Firstly, I was super impressed with the efficiency of the team. Even at 8.00am it was extremely busy and the forecourt and garage appeared to be working quicker than a Formula One pit team. I was immediately approached by Paul who directed me to the refurb bay where my wheels were removed and replaced with a very decent pair of BMW loan wheels. I explained to Paul that I was sourcing my tyres from Black Circles, purely due to the cost. I didn’t expect that AP would be able to source the brand I wanted at a competitive price. Paul assured me they would. Overall, so far, I cannot fault AP Tyres. I will report on the quality of the refurb when I collect the wheels but, given the service so far, I have very high expectations👍👍
I went to this company AP Tyres in Rotherham to paint my alloy wheels, but when they took the alloy wheels off, one of them was bent in two places from the hammer blows. That hammer was supposed to be completely covered in rubber (they are using very old and very damaged tools) This was reported by me and they promised to fix the alloy wheel, which did not happen. Moreover, when I returned to pick up the alloy wheels, the same employee put them on the car but balanced them very badly. I had to spend more money for another wheel balancing because I didn't trust them to go back!
