Aptive offers focus on the Environment

Aptive offers a strong focus on environmental pest control and there are a wide range of treatment choices.

The technicians are excellent and focus on customer satisfaction more than just getting the job done.

If there is a downside cost may be an issue but there are a variety of treatment program costs.

Misleading Sales Tactics and Poor Cancellation Handling

I’m sharing my experience to help others make an informed decision.

A representative came to my door and explained that several neighbors had already signed up, and that if I joined too, the treatment would be much more effective. This created a sense of urgency and pressure to sign up.

Before agreeing, I clearly stated that my condition was a 6-month cancellation option. I was contacted by phone, and I was told that this request was accepted. Based on that, I proceeded with the agreement.

However, when I later tried to cancel, no one acknowledged this condition. There was no record of what had been promised during the signup process. Instead, I was told that I had to pay for all remaining months. Initially, they enforced a 2-year commitment. After ongoing discussions, they eventually reduced it to 1 year, but this was still not what had been agreed.

This experience was frustrating and disappointing. My advice to others is to make sure that every condition is clearly written and confirmed in the contract before signing anything.

I hope the company improves its transparency and communication in the future.

Never had a problem if changes needed to be made. I feel it's an affordable price range for the service provided. Employees are always friendly, willing to answer questions that may arrise.

When I was having awful time with bees

When I was having awful time with bees my old pest control people were so busy they couldn’t come for over a week. Got rid of them, called Aptive they came immediately & hepled me. They are thorough helpful & make sure any problems you have are solved.

Irresponsible and shady company

Your company does not take responsibility of wrong doings. My attached garage was not treated properly for inside rodents and my brand new vehicle was damaged. Your representative treated me like I am an idiot giving me lessons of rodent behavior and indicated customers are responsible to ask for treatment when serviced even though you already requested the service

Usually I receive pictures and a text…

Usually I receive pictures and a text from the exterminator the day of the treatment. I didn't even know the person was at my house and didn't have the opportunity to tell him about any issues we were having or ask him to treat inside the house.
