APPLICANCE DIRECT NOT GIVING ME MY REFUND 70 POUNDS LOST
I wanted to return an items for refund back to store where i collected and was told to book item in to be picked up from my house. Item was arranged for collection and pick up by dpd driver and appliance direct are now noting returning my refund as they say driver did not collect item even though we have him on camera putting item in back of his van. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Our dishwasher stopped working correctly after 5-6 months of use. They sent out an engineer to look at the problem and he said that the unit would need to be fully replaced and sent the report back to appliances direct. We had no further contact so had to call ourselves to let them know that it would need replacing, only to be told that the item is no longer in stock. We were told they would have a solution for us in24-48 hours- nothing. After multiple calls to them, they have now said that they can offer us a £25 voucher on top of what we originally paid- their prices have now gone up substantially and there is nothing for less than £100 more than what we had paid. This is outrageous customer service, especially when we are within warranty and are somehow expected to fork out potentially hundreds of pounds for a replacement!!! Charmaine, the manager, and Judith in customer service have no empathy for our situation and continually blame us for this- absolutely shocking.

After I received my item decided it wasn't what I wanted,asked to return had to pay £10 for a courier to collect plus on my return I've lost £ 15 in total absolute rip of £4.95 to deliver and £10 to return never again will I order off them.

Couldn’t deliver on the day/time specified. Requested some compensation for time/cost/effort lost, to only have them ignore my email and refund part of my intial payment - I didn’t even request a refund!!
They then ended up keeping the £79.99 delivery charge - pure frauds.
Please do not use as a number of people I have spoken to have now had a bad experience and hours of time wasted on the phone with customers services only to get nowhere!!

Reported a faulty refurbished SMEG oven within 3 months and was referred to the manufacturer to get the fault fixed. SMEG do not provide Appliances Direct with any warranty despite them claiming on the invoice that the warranty is with SMEG. Surely lying to a client is wrong?

I ordered a cooker just before Christmas and took receipt in late December. Today I opened the wrapping ( I videoed the operation in case it was damaged). I will put the video on facebook. I was astounded to see that there was a part of the hinge missing from the upper oven. Some of the protective plastic had already been removed, I am certain by the original recipient. This must have been returned and then bought by Appliance Direct as a second. I am disgusted. They tell me to contact the manufacturer, refusing any liability. I will instruict my bank to cancel my credit card payment unless they correct the issue
24£ PHONECALL FOR COSTUMER SERVICE!
I cannot believed! I just received my phone bill that usually is 16£, got charged 40£! Went to check and I spent more than 20£ for called the costumer service for appliance direct! I received my order and was broken, phoned them to get a replace and I was been kept on hold while they were sorted out the issue. Nobody told me that I was been charged that amount! The website said that is usually free then realised that in a lighter colour there is actually a price per minute! Absolutely disgusted! I would have never phoned them if I knew!

Just having the worst experience trying to return a very faulty product - Sharp Combination Microwave Oven. On the day it was delivered I tested it and NOTHING works, not the microwave, grill or oven! although the display panel works.
The website is delibrately difficult if you want to return an item, having several links which just take you back to the same page, where all you can do is write a message to Customer Serivce, or call a premium rate phone number. There is NO returns form.
The reply I got from CS was to contact the manufacturer!.
However, I know that under Consumer Rights legislation I have rights to a full refund from the SELLER - Appliance Direct UK. I've replied to the CS email, informing them of this right and their obligation. So will see what will happen.
Terrible customer service, poor product
Ordered a refurbished cooker and had it fitted in a rental property. Wrong pan support, broken bulb in oven. Hob not fully usable as a result, Clearly not quality checked. Customer service terrible, did not sort the issue and left me almost £400 out of pocket. Very disappointed. Do not use this company for refurbished appliances unless you want to waste your money.

We will never buy from this place again or recommend to any of our friends or family. They are very quick and nice to take your money but when you have issues with an appliance that broke down 3 weeks after purchase which is obviously defective, they refuse to help you because technically i was told that was not their problem. They will not assist in contacting the maker to make things right or at least try. i was basically told that it was not their problem and to call the 1-800 number to sort it out myself which never answers the phone! What brand new appliance needs the electronics replaced 3 weeks out of the box?!! if they sell these products, then they also need to assist the customer in resolution. So now we are stocked repairing a defective appliance that will probably break again and we will have to spend even more money to replace it in the near future. quick to take your money, then quick to deny you help when what they sold you was not what you paid for.

Ordered fridge freezer paid £49.99 for Saturday delivery, item was damaged badly. Customer services a joke - put through to so many different people and had to explain the issue repeatedly.
Delivered a difference model and was supposed to collect the same day- they did not. I now have TWO fridge freezers in my very small kitchen. They still have not collected the damaged one

I have been battling with this company since August 2022 and their faulty goods, awful customer service and general attitude absolutely stink. They do not care how they treat you. I have been told "we don't have to offer you any compensation" when I was lucky enough to get £10 for my troubles. The delivery date you choose is never honoured. The helpline is charged at 13p per minute. The respond to emails eventually. Their case managers are rude. Don't do it... go somewhere else. Even if they are cheaper, you will pay in time and costs trying to sort out their mistakes.

I bought a dehumidifier from appliances direct and it was the best thing I have done in a long time. I control it from my phone which is a good thing for me. Since getting it my windows don’t have water running down the inside of my flat and there is no more mould growing inside. It stopped working recently and I messaged appliance direct and they sent me out a replacement. The customer service guys are excellent and extremely polite. Soon I will be needing a new washing machine and a new cooker which I will definitely buy from them because they looked after me as if I was someone special. Love you guys thank you for all your help and understanding. Job well done keep it up.

Purchase Indesit gas hob arrived, unit faulty.Rang company and I have got to wait 10 days for engineer to come and check faulty unit which is unnaceptable.
I spent over 1 hour on my mobile being passed from pillar to post.After sales non existent!!!!!!!
Eventually got through but Call went ASIA!!!!!They could not help me at all.
So I spent another 30 minutes on mobile to head office asking for return and refund,but was informed I have to wait for engineer to attend to confirm it is faulty,then wait for report.So they expect me too wait 10 days for engineer to inspect brand new hob.
So no dinner for next 10 days.
