Great experience and product

I bought curtains for the living room and I have a wonderful experience with Apollo blinds. From the quote to installation everything was perfect and the result was wonderful.
Also, when I had any questions, the team at Apollo blind was very helpful.
I am very satisfied.

All my blinds

All my blinds, inside and out are from Apollo. Everything is made to measure, professionally installed. Quality products that last. We have 2x blockout blinds on our western side and 1x blockout blind on our eastern side. On a hot summer day it keeps the inside of our house 5 to 10 C cooler. Highly recommend.

Go somewhere else

The entire installation process was a joke. (Gold Coast)
A simple apartment with 2 beds, 1 living area with a combination of rollers and curtains took 4 months from initial deposit to get right.
- Initially the rollers were delayed so they offered to do the curtains first
- Holes were then drilled for the living curtains in the wrong place in my ceiling (brand new apartment) not allowing space for the rollers. Lucky I was home and noticed and pointed it out before more were drilled.
- A rough patch up job was done to the misplaced holes a few days later which looked terrible and required fixing by a professional painter. More delay.
- The master block out was made with the width too short - TWICE! It took 3 times to get it right.
- Arrival times were delayed on some occasions by up to 90-120 mins.

Between the installers and the painter I had people in my apartment no less than 7 times for a straight forward job, not including initial quote and confirmation measure attendances.

Apollo said they were just as frustrated as me with the short curtain (highly doubt it) and blame their manufacturer for it being something "out of their control", selectively addressing only one of the many errors and delays, and in any event, as the customer facing business, Apollo ought to take responsibility for its contractors. A token "good will" offer of $50 credit was made (only after I asked for something) on the basis that the final product wasn't compromised, which is irrelevant in the circumstances, and honestly an insult, so I ultimately declined it. Word of mouth will be worth more than the paltry $50.

Furnishing a brand new place should be a fun time. Will never use them again.

How do stay stay in business 🤷🏼‍♂️

Well it turned out that it wasn’t the measurements but the installation crew wasn’t given a job sheet and they didn’t have the knowledge to do the job
So they sent out another crew that got the job done ( with no job sheet ) but didn’t tell me of the broken part or the wobble in the curtain … as I have paid in full they won’t do the repairs and have threatened me that they will take me to court because I told them in no uncertain manner that the job was totally bad really bad
So what ever you do stay away from this mob
I wish I had read the reviews on this site 🙇‍♂️

Amazingly perfect!

Thank you for my amazing shutters they are absolutely beautiful they fit perfect. I am so pleased I have decided to have more shutters on mg windows. Big thank you to Anthony from the stoke branch for being so kind cleaning/removing all packaging I highly recommend ApolloBlinds!

Horrific customer service

I had blinds installed in a number of bedrooms including 2 in the front room. After 2 months the blinds in the front room began to fray at the edges and it was becoming worse with each day. I sent photos and someone came out.

I assumed that the blinds would get fixed on the spot but the guy said he needed to take them away as they were not installed properly in the first place and now needed to be sent for repair. I was a bit apprehensive at the windows being left exposed but felt I had little alternative. I was told it would take a week.

After waiting over a week I rang and was told the blinds were getting repaired in Melbourne. I was also told that it would be followed up and I would get a call back. No call came my way. I rang the next day and had exactly the same conversation with someone else with exactly the same outcome, no phone call came my way.

After another few days passéd by I rang again. This time someone was slightly more helpful as they said that the system shows the blinds should be back in Sydney on the 13th July, 5 weeks after they were taken away! I expressed my concern and was provided an email address to forward my concerns. I wrote an email over a week ago, not surprisingly I received no response.

I feel like my blinds have been stolen, as a customer I’ve done nothing wrong, I ordered the blinds, paid on time and what I got were poorly installed blinds that have now been missing for nearly a month despite being told it would take a week. This is beyond poor and unbelievably bad service. I’ve been lied to and no one even bothers to get back to me with any information. I’ve run out of options, I’m hoping I see the blinds again one day but at this stage it doesn’t look like I’ll have the blinds I paid for any time soon.

I will never recommend Apollo Blinds to anyone, this is the most appalling customer service ever!

WORST COMPANY EVER

WORST COMPANY EVER
We ordered 3 roller blinds with pattern.
Two blinds sitting side by side, patterns didn’t match, upside down and different starting points,
At first Apollo Blinds were willing to reverse one blind, only to renege on that offer.
Apollo Blinds onsite inspection, the only way to make good was to remake one of the blinds,( this should have happened in first place, and were very apologetic)
3 weeks later we receive email, as the contract didn’t specify that the blinds should match, they weren’t prepared to rectify.
Had the pattern been say teddy bears it would be okay to have them upside down, unless specified in a contract. I say bull to that.
I think a normal person would presume that 3 blinds ordered on the same day with same pattern would have been made the same.
Worst company ever, go else where

Purchased blinds approx 3 months ago…

Purchased blinds approx 3 months ago for an empty property. Informed they would take approx 4 weeks to make and install. After 2 months attempted to ring, a number of messages were left and no return call was made by Apollo. Rang 40 - 50 times, eventually rang head office in Sydney to see if company was still operating in Victoria. Head office contacted Victoria and who finally rang me. After contact was made at least four times I was informed blinds ‘should’ arrive by end of the week. They didn’t. Follow up calls made by myself, no reply to messages, Head Office had to be contacted again. Blinds finally installed. Customer service is horrible. Would not recommend.

Still waiting for Apollo blinds to complete an installation.

We are most dissatisfied with Apollo Blinds as the installer left the job half finished despite settling payment in full. Five weeks ago, I tried to contact the branch manager ( via weekly emails and phone calls) to seek a solution but to date we have not received a response from the manager.

DO NOT GO NEAR THIS MOB

I wish i'd read Alicia's review. A completely unsatisfactory comapany: unless you are prepared to be mucked around, DO NOT GO NEAR THIS MOB. Wrong COLOUR shutters delivered not once but twice, with wrong SHAPE as well the first time. Absolutely zero communication from anyone at Apollo regarding the stuff-ups (even after we filled in their Customer feedback form). No-one has taken any responsibility for customer liason (I don't think it exists) so we have had to chase THEM every time to find out what actually might be happening. 6 months and still waiting (for "another 4-6 weeks") for one set of shutters.

Warning: Do not purchase from this company

We received the worst customer service I have ever had from a company through Apollo blinds at Newcastle/Belmont. The wrong shutter colour was ordered when we placed the order back in October 2019 and after blaming my husband the rep then admitted it was their fault and re-ordered the shutters. We were offered "paper blinds" to get us through the summer months. We have only just had them installed after 6 months of following up- being told dates for install that didn't eventuate, waiting on contact from the manager and then escalating to the NSW franchise manager who spoke to us once and agreed how bad the service was that they didn't even offer to install the wrong coloured blinds to get us through the summer and then didn't bother to follow up again after saying he would meet with the franchise owner. We were expected to pay full price with not even an offer of a small discount for the inconvenience and poor service we'd received. There are many other companies around, please do yourself a favour and pick another I wouldn't wish our experience on anyone!
