Needed a taxi to a n e. Explained I need to put a folded wheelchair in the boot, but i could sit in taxi normally. Was told no taxis could help me. So clearly they don't help disabled people unless preplanned journey. Got different taxi no problem

My wife has had a series of strokes and so now can only travel by wheelchair. We booked a wheelchair taxi with Apollo for 4:30 from our physio appointment to home. We had a text confirming this which said 4:40 - but fair enough so we stood in the car park at 4:35. At 4:38 we had a text saying taxi on it's way - Grey VW Passat and registration. Great. At 5:10 I attempted to call Apollo and it rang and rang with no reply. Over the next 30 minutes I tried 18 times and each time it rang 40 times (I counted) and then cut out. Eventually at 5:50 - after an hour and ten minutes wait in the car park, my wife in a wheelchair and with no further communication from the taxi company - we set off to walk home - a walk of 1 1 1/2 miles me pushing the wheelchair. Why text to say they were coming and not turn up and not let us know they weren't coming. Without the text I would probably have waited half an hour. I was furious and next morning called Apollo to see what had happened. The lady who answered quickly cut me short and said she would put me through to the manager. She then came back and said he had just taken another call and would call back in ten minutes - some hope. After 30 minutes and several more failed attempts I got through again and was put through to a women who I assume was in a senior position. She was pleasant enough but offered no apologies and plenty of excuses. 'Of course there was no reply because we go home at 5:00' - well why not put a message there to tell people. Why didn't they text me to say they weren't coming - 'We don't do texts - everything is on the computer now'. Then she said we don't take bookings at that time because of the school run - well we clearly had a booking and a text to prove it. At one point she asked me to be quiet while she had her say. Eventually she said she would investigate and call me back in half an hour but guess what - she didn't. I sincerly hope that Apollo tighten their procedures. At the very least put a message on the phone to say what hours they work and also find some way of communicating with waiting customers who have absolutely no idea what is happening.

Disgusted with this service. We orders 2 cars to take us to our son’s christening. Only 1 showed up and we had a cancellation email from the other after it was due to arrive causing us to scramble to get there in time. What is the point in pre-booking if there’s not the slightest guarantee they will show up. No apology, no phone call, just waiting in the rain. Never using again.

Always a great service with David or Sugar always on time and always how the quickest cheapest route 10/10 every time

Totally waste of the time! I have booked taxi for 3.10pm (I know its busy time because of school) but the app let me do it. At 3.10pm taxi wasn't at my address, so I tried to call office, no one picked up. I have important appointment at the doctors at 3.30pm, at 3.31pm the taxi still wasn't at my address so I cancelled. And then on the app shows that I have to pay £5 for late cancellation as the taxi arrived, and the car, according to the map, wasn't even close! Stay away!!

Excellent service. Collected an emergency prescription from Maidstone chemist and delivered to the home of a disabled pensioner as requested. Thank you to the lady on the switchboard and taxi-driver who were both super helpful. Five star service!

Apollo Taxi are the loveliest, friendliest, polite, kind and helpful drivers with lovely, clean and comfortable executive cars. They are very professional and when I phone up the lady who answers is so sweet, patient and very efficient. I get a confirmation text immediately I hang up my phone, they come exactly on time and drive like a chauffeur. They take debit cards and send you texts right up to the time they pick you up. They know who I am and my booking if I phone to check. They are the best taxi firm I have ever used.

how can a taxi driver take £10 for a taxi journey when the journey costs £5 and takes the longest route i understand they want to make money but this is stupid. if it continues, I will pay 15.20 for the trip. What normally costs 5, you know, that's terrible

Taxi driver was 50 minutes late.. I missed my event!! Lady on the phone was lovely, but taxi man was very rude and didn’t understand why I was upset !! I explained I missed my event! I wanted to just get out of the taxi, but he just said he’d never pick me up again and charged £8 for a 5 minute drive around coedpoeth… I asked his name and he refused to give it me.. drove a SILVER, SKODA , OCTAVIA, REG: AJ09TDU !! Wont be getting a taxi with this rude man again!

I have to say that I always get such efficient service from Apollo Taxi always on time lovely friendly cab drivers I have trouble walking and they assist me plus I feel so safe

Totally pointless booking service. When taxi never arrived. I called multiple times and nobody answers... Left stranded in the middle of nowhere. AVOID at all costs...

After waiting a prepiad taxi for 2hours in the middle of the night on the airport they charged us some extras.The worst taxi company ever

Have used this company with success for the last 3 years. Made many bookings with them, over 200. However, suddenly they started rejecting our credit card which is accepted everywhere else and the bank says there is nothing wrong with it, so we had to start booking over the phone. Now, they wont accept phone bookings and they still wont accept our valid credit card that we have been using with them for over a year. Customer support know nothing and just say they need to report it to their IT team. We'll go somewhere else from now on. You've just lost a good customer Apollo!

Although Apollo charges a little more than it’s competitors I’ve never had any issues. Apollo accepts card by default so there is no arguing over card readers. Drivers always show up on time and are professional. They are my go to taxi service.
