We have officially been contracting with AOKA for 2 months. There were some issues at the beginning (to be expected when switching 100% of our plan reviews and inspections over abruptly) but they have made things right every time.

The level of customer service is top tier and our building official Eli is awesome! We have been getting so much more done and the plan review time has been cut down significantly.

Our next milestone will be to switch to the vertex system, which we hope will go smoothly.

It’s always a big risk to change such a large part of your processes and trust a new company but it was worth it!

Aoka Engineering has just been the best thing that has happen to the city since we lost our previous inspector. We had tried other services that would provide inspections and plan reviews for our small town with unsatisfactory results. Aoka has allowed us to still maintain our small town feeling but with the confidence of knowing we are getting the best, safe and practical plan reviews and inspections. They have been professional yet personable when conducting business. Our citizens enjoy the ability to have the inspections through a virtual process if needed. AOKA has been contracted to provide seamless collaborations with our Code Compliance Department and our Citizens/Contractors for code inspections and plan reviews to name a few. We have had amazing customer service interaction with AOKA with customized forms and portal needs. I have personally received positive feedback from contractors about the virtual inspection process and how this has streamlined the inspection process for them.
