I am delighted with the result of my procedure.

From start to finish Miss Dancey was thorough and well organised, backed up in the same way by her team of anaesthetist, admin staff and hospital personnel.
She is very personable and easy to relate to, as well as being very well qualified and experienced

Anne is a fantastic surgeon - she took so much time to explain my condition to me, and talk me through the options. It was only when I spoke to Anne that I found someone who was genuinely interested in the impact lipoedema was having on my life. She was calm and patient with me - I have a terrible fear or anaesthetic and her and her team went above and beyond to get me through my surgeries.

I've had 5 operation with Dr Dancey. She cares about her patients. She and her team go out of their way to get you the best care possible and make you feel safe, comfortable and relaxed. Dr Dancey explains the procedure thoroughly and takes the time to answer all your questions and address your concerns. Aftercare was also very good. Any concerns or questions were addressed promptly and swiftly.

Sadly I have not experienced the positive results that others have.
I had liposuction on my front and inner thighs, knees and knee pads in July 2019 and I have been in chronic pain ever since.
Not a day goes by without pain and often have flare ups of inflammation and worse pain. It's like my legs are in a vice that gets tighter and tighter. I have spent an absolute fortune on so many treatments but nothing has worked.
I have been told by several specialist for pain that the likely cause is that my pain was not kept under control in the early weeks after surgery.
I would not advise against it for the majority but be aware how important it is to keep pain at bay in the days post surgery.
My life has been blighted by this more than my lipodema ever did!

Dr. Anne Dancey is absolutely wonderful! She is highly skilled and experienced. Dr. Dancey ensures that her patients are well informed. .. listens to any concerns arising and addresses each in a professional yet down-to-earth manner.

After extreme weight loss of 10 stone and 7 children. I was left with loads of excess skin and stubborn pockets of fat that just refused to go even with exercise. I decided the only way for me to get the body shape that I really wanted now was to under go plastic surgery. After months of researching . I found Ms Anne Dancey so booked a consultation with her through her wonderful and friendly secretary Gayle. My first impression of Ms Dancey was that she was very friendly and down to earth. At the consultation She took the time to really listen to what I wanted, And then she told me what, in her professional opinion, she would need to do to accomplish those results, for me . Ms Dancey is all about the best results and long term results for you, I left my consultation with her knowing she was the surgeon for me.

I under went my first surgery September 2021 just over 4 months ago. And I must say the surgery went very smoothly. And Ms Dancey's team took such good care of me from start to finish. I under went a tummy tuck with liposuction and had my stomach muscles repaired all with amazing results. I could not be happier. Ms Dancey is definitely an artist and her work is truly a reflection of herself. She's truly amazing in her field. I'd recommend her to anyone. She's compassionate, yet honest on what she can and can't accomplish your not just another surgery to her. She tells you what to expect afterwards, the good and bad stuff. She takes her time and explains everything, in detail which is very reassuring. Any concerns or questions you may have she or Gayle will respond to you quickly. And I am a Very, very, happy client. She's truly changed my life. I'm more confident & happier I cannot believe what I see when I look in the mirror .She is a perfectionist and that is something we all would like when it comes to procedures being done on us. I'm so impressed with her results that I'm now waiting for a 2nd surgery . My only regret is that I wish I had contacted her years ago.

Miss Anne Dancey is a fantastic surgeon, this is my 2nd operation with Anne for my condition. I have lipoedema and I also had a breast reduction. I have 💯 faith in her abilities & knowledge. Anne makes you feel comfortable, secure and included at every part of the process. Even after your surgery nothing is too much trouble, I am able to contact Anne directly and she responds asap, just knowing that your mind will be put at ease if need be is so reassuring. I have never been able to contact a surgeon directly and with so much ease. I would highly recommend Anne for any procedure you may be considering, you would definitely be in good hands.

I had a breast reduction with Anne in August last year, the whole process was so comfortable and Anne was so lovely and warming. My results are amazing, she really did change my life for the better. And I would recommend her to everyone!!

Anne and her team were really caring about my reasons for wanting surgery, they put my mind at ease and explained every step of the procedure. Having experience with surgeons before consulting Anne, it is clear she is exceptional in her field. Anne is empathetic, passionate and a great listener, and upon talking with her, my concerns would quickly dissipate.

Her secretary/staff are also very helpful and the hospitals she is affiliated with are all very caring (Surgeries at BMI the Priory & Spire Parkway).

The surgeries included; Brachioplasty, thigh & back lift, bi-lateral glandular avulsion and the results have been more than I could ever have hoped for. She has always been willing and enthusiastic to revise any areas to achieve the best possible result.

Highly recommended if you are looking to address issues post major weight loss, you are in safe hands with long term support.

I had an otoplasty from Miss Anne Dancey back in 2016. The operation was fine, but when I took the bandages off, I could tell that my ears were not the same. I said to her that they are not identical and her response is ‘ they are sisters not twins’. Never forgot those words. Anyways 5 years on, and to be honest I’m not happy with the results. One still sticks out, and I don’t know how they closed the gap behind my ears, but the skin is so hard and pointy?! If I knock my ear or sleep on it at a certain angle it still hurts like crazy! That’s surely not normal? I also didn’t like her attitude and felt like I should have gone to MYA instead. Unfortunately I’m going to have to have a revision to make them look even. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Surgery with Anne Dancey has absolutely transformed my life. Before my abdominoplasty with complex lipo I was walking with crutches due to injuries to my ankle and knee joints. Weight loss didn’t seem to make a difference and Anne diagnosed lipedema in my legs, arms and lower abdomen. The surgery is difficult and complex and not something to take lightly and healing and recovery can take several months. Anne has a team around her that will support you through the process and in recovery. I can now walk more easily and have more confidence to exercise with less risk of injury.

Anne Dancey is a true expert in her field of plastic surgery. I have had two operations performed by Anne, one being an 8hour + op for a tummy tuck, lipo sculpture, breast lift and implants, the other a smaller eye operation to remove excess skin from my eyelids. I have been very pleased with results from both operations. From start to finish the overall service that Anne and her team provide is second to none. I felt completely at ease after receiving all of the relevant information regarding my surgery via the nurses, anaesthetist and Ann herself, all of whom were very informative about every aspect of the procedure. I had liposuction for lipoedema and over 3 years later I am still in pain and my legs looked botched. I have scars and dents all over, even on lowers. I couldn’t walk after my first surgery and was on crutches for 2 months. I could’ve touch my legs, couldn’t shower for the same time as I couldn’t get my heels down for reasons unknown. This went on for a year and a half. As a result I couldn’t exercise and for someone who was in the gym 4 times a week and had a size 28 inch waist was hell! Her aftercare was lacking and I don’t think she understood the pain that I was in. She did offer for me to come and see her compression nurse but I didn’t have the cash & I this wouldn’t have helped the pain. I have been referred to chronic pain team, orthopaedics, acupuncture, paid for private physio but nothing has helped me with the pain and issues as a result of the surgery. I now have pain in my foot, overly sensitive legs as my nerves have been fried, poor balance, put on weight due to not being as active as before surgery. Even my gran who is in her 80s is fitter and has better legs! I did consider suing her for the money I paid for the joy as i was so angry but calmed down a bit now. I think she’s for the women with stage 3 and over but not those with a mild form as I have also heard from someone similar to me. I get jealous with the lippy ladies who sale through their surgeries and have had amazing results. £16k I paid for 2 surgeries only to be in worse pain and mess. I would seriously consider looking to the Germans to have this done

For this procedure I wanted to find a female plastic surgeon, who would be able to understand it from a female perspective. Miss Anne Dancey is not only highly skilled in her profession and ability, but also extremely attentive and caring towards her patients, which is key to an overall great experience. My experience has been amazing throughout the whole process from my initial consultation to surgery and recovery. I cannot recommend her enough and would advise anyone wanting to undergo the same procedure to look no further.

I chose Anne as my surgeon for many reasons, she is professional, extremely competent, confronts in the products she uses and made me feel at ease. She has been working and specialising in this field for many years and is very much at the forefront of the development of the products she uses.
