I gave them 24,000. dollars, to change my not 1 kitchen, and bathroom, and back bedroom
And, my sterling, I have been cuss out by the owner Marc,not 1 but 2 times.
My house is a terrible nightmare, and still waiting for them to finish.
So, my husband can fix all of their mistakes!!!!

I am a professional contractor who started with Home Advisor over 10 years ago. In the beginning it was awesome. Today, Angi's List is all about greed. They charge way too many contractors for the same customer information, resulting in customers being so frustrated with so many incoming calls. I would not recommend any home owner or contractor to use them. Not worth it!

I hired Mr. Tomas for cleaning through Angie's list, and it's the worst experience. I've ever had. He doesn't do dishes. He doesn't take the clean clothes and other towels ETC. and put them up where they belong.So I was left with a couple hours worth of work after he left $240 for a twenty seven foot, three year old travel trailer, absolutely ridiculous!!!

I scheduled service with Urban lawn and landscaping. They did not show up. Called rescheduled again didn't show up. I am canceling request and looking elsewhere

The company is not providing full and transparent information about the leads. The quality and quantity of leads do not match what was promised.

There is also a lack of clear communication and misleading information regarding services.

Additionally, they require a $1,500 cancellation fee (around 35%) to terminate the contract, which was not clearly explained upfront.

Overall, the service does not meet expectations and appears misleading.

I have been looking for a painter to do some repairs on my home. I do not search on Angi because I have a very poor opinion of it. I get a minimum of 5 emails a day from them for services. I keep selecting to not receive ads from them but it never stops. I recently got one where they knew my address, age of my home and other information. They suggested upgrades and repairs to do that would cost about $50,000. When I have had someone come they had less knowledge than I do, promised to send me a breakdown of cost but I never heard from them again. Don't fall for anyone who is listed with them

Absolutely a huge waste of money! I am a plumber that just went off on my own. I was tricked into paying $750 up front for leads that I’ll get to choose. However now I am automatically charged ridiculous amounts for leads coming in that amount to nothing. I reply within minutes and customers aren’t even answering their phone. I’m charged $66-$90 just to get a phone number and address of a customer that ignores all attempts of contact. Something is terribly wrong with this system!!!! Huge disappointment!!!

I had a schedule appointment to have my grandson ebike assembled by Zachary S for 6pm, then it when to 6-8pm, I called at 7:15pm only to be told that they was working and would call to let me know when they would come, which just from the sound of his voice I knew he wasn't coming. I then contacted Angi and they was sorry of course and then wanted me to wait two more days for someone else to come this time at 7:30pm, and by this time I just wanted my money back. Because if I hadn't called I would have been sitting there still waiting. Me and my grandson put the bike together ourselves, I will never do business with Angi has far as a Pro coming to assemble something. Very Very disappointed. However they did refund my money because there PRO never showed nor did he have any intention of showing.

Anji hired Apex Maintenance for miner repair to siding. Two no shows with lame excuses and l am still waiting

For 4 Days Angi Handyman Services, Contracted Through Wayfair. Couldn't Provide The Assembled Services. For 4days They Have Schedule Someone Way After Evening Hours. Angi Wouldn't Allow The Available Assembler To Work Their Availability. They Have Rescheduled 3times,Compromising Everyone's Time. Im Now Requested A $89.99 Refund Do To Non Providing Contracted Services With Angi. This Is Bad Business Wayfair. You Guys Needs To Replace Angi Company, They Are Not Providing Ouailty Physical Labor. They Don't Deserve Any Stars Due To The Repeated Inconsistencies, Inconvenience Of You Guys Consumers.

They tricked me into signing a contract without me knowing I was on contract with them. Said that I could cancel any time and had all these hidden fees I also had no knowledge of. They refused to issue me a refund. And I haven’t even gotten one lead yet and they want money for that. And now they won’t let me leave without paying $1000 which is crazy they didn’t educate me on anything, and I was seeing if it works for me they don’t even try to work with you can’t do people like that mind you I was going to treat this full time.because I needed too work . It won’t work and don’t want no part with these people fraud mislead for a commission .

This company is very deceptive in the way they get you to sign up as a contractor. They claim that they give you a 30% added leads for more business, But they wont even credit duplicate charges that eat into your budget.

Absolutely dissatisfied with their inability to help their clients find the simplest solutions.

Every time I call in for help, I leave the call with 0 solutions. Once my "subscription" with them is over, I will NEVER work with them again.

They need to step it up.

Last year right before the 4th of July holiday, I bought a fireplace tv stand through Walmart and added service with Angi. My technician never showed up on its schedule day & time. I never received a phone call neither. So after waiting, 2 hours passed my appointment time, I called Angi's customer service, received an apology and a promise that a new tech would come at 7:00 that evening, that tech didn't show either. Now, I'm furious Angi's broken promises is causing my holiday to be interrupted. I called customer service again and demanded a refund of the $79.00 service fee. They promised to refund my money. An hour later customer service called me back said they found a tech willing to come that day on the 4th of July. The tech showed up on a bicycle and completed the job in about 2 hours. After the tech was done I called customer service back in regards to my refund and they refused arguing that the service had been completed regardless that my holiday weekend was ruined, but offered half off my next installation. So, here I am again waiting on service from Angi. My appointment is set for 2 days from now. I'm going to call customer service to discuss my half off payment for this installation. I'll be writing another review after this installation. I suspect that Angi again will not honor the half off promise.

They truly are a joke ! If you read how bad this company has screwed over thousands of contractors with selling false leads , it’s no wonder contractors are running ! Never used them until yesterday I was looking for a shower pan replacement and walls . They showed me 25 contractors and how they would reach out . Only 1 did lol. Well that’s enough for me . Run away from this fraudulent (one time long ago they were actually honest) company . It’s all about greed and screwing over the contractor and customer !

I needed a home inspection and market value assessment as the condition of my property is unfortunately below average for our neighborhood. I needed to document the current condition and how this affects the value.I was recommended a company called Akrivis who reportedly could do the necessary evaluation in the short time I had available. I had multiple discussions with Akrivis beforehand. Also with their contracted photographer when he told was only there to take pictures of the front and back of the house and two pictures of each room. He was not instructed to take any pictures of damage or needed repairs. He cooperated and took detailed pictures of numerous issues affecting property value, termites water damage dry rot roof leaks Etc... I had another follow-up call with Akrivis, just to be absolutely clear that the correct evaluation was being performed. Obviously since I'm writing this that's not what happened. I received pictures of the inside and outside of the house and a set of comparisons all based on average values. No consideration of condition or real documentation of the same. In fact the whole evaluation seems to have come down to putting the square footage into the neighborhood comparables and using the standard price per square foot. Absolutely useless to me. Steered completely wrong by Angie. Do not use Angie for advice or referrals or recommendations. I'm out $400 for a useless review. My time window to appeal my property taxes is almost closed. I'm probably going to lose thousands of dollars over this. Again do not use Angie. This is not a review of Akrivis but obviously don't use them either.

Tried to sign up as a pro, they took my money and provided me nothing, stay away they are thieves

I used Angi for a while when in Atlanta, Ga. It was hit and miss, but I did get some jobs using their platform. I relocated to Dallas, Tx and thought I would try again. Huge mistake! Almost all the leads were unreachable, whether trying by phone, text or email. Angi refused to issue credits until I threatened to cancel, THEN they agreed to give me an account credit. Amazingly I started getting blasted with new leads, that again,I could not reach! This quickly used up the account credit and I actually owed over $70.00 in leads before I could turn them off! That was about a year ago and they have been trying to get me back since. Out of curiousity I called the fake local number back and the woman who took my call couldn't even speak English. I also was hearing a rooster in the background while trying to understand what she was saying! Never got to the point of finding out what they wanted from me! What a clown show!

Caught in front of ca Centra employee re correcting lies he put about questions and answers he asked me in my medical dot review he lied about my persona said I'm basically not making sense in conversation I had been here 6 months ago and had till next yr for a dot medical card clearance I've had 4 dot medical card no denials he is racists atheist he said he doesn't believe in God when I clearly told him I've taught mental health many government employees that spirits can cause people to go through reality of voices visions false emotions vs some people think gang stalking remote neural monitoring is the government with sattlies it's actually also spiritual so I told him years ago this is what I went through and I'm in compliance with mental health governments etc exposing reality with proof I have had jobs housing I'm a inventor patent number D780999 and many other accomplishments I've obtained CDL license through a program called department of rehabilitation that helps people on disability to recover and progress in careers I've never had problems driving daily activities if he needs confirmation call my therapist and past doctors he attempted to call but no answer and said I'm not fit to drive CDL trucks find a new career I'm dilisional crazy in so many words he fabricated our conversation on paper so I went back and asked him in front of everyone why did he lie about my conversation and explaing how I was put on SSI for schizophrenia 2010
Even SSI acknowledging my facts progress and said in a letter I'm not disabled and I'm in the process of getting the diagnosis off my name
Be aware of this guy he manipulates the truth and is caught re correcting his lies in report on my dot physical I asked him out what I told you not what you just fabricated in front of his employees at CA Centra Wilmington Ave Compton I filed a complaint to the medical board his actions is a crime fraud dr malpractice and I have too many people on my side vs his caught lying devil a@@ any more victims post the truth let's get this guy out of the medical field Amen God is good 👍
