Why a complete novice should sign up to Andy guitar
I signed up to Andy Guitar's full membership today. This is to explain why this was chosen above other providers. Firstly, before purchasing there are loads of free videos and lessons to try before you buy - meaning you get a good idea of content before hand which is not possible with many course providers. Secondly, there is a trial period with access to the resources and a money back guarantee, not that it would be wanted. Thirdly, Andy teaches in a structured way, and at a steady and sensible pace, which is quickly ascertained from the resources available, so pitfalls in learning right from the beginning are avoided and these are not clearly explained in text-books alone. Thirdly, his enthusiasm, and polite and professional manner are excellent, a patient and steady teacher. As a complete novice, I was going to use text books alone to try to learn, but quickly found this very off-putting, with little explanation of what it really takes to learn, so chose to try some of Andy's free resources and found these were much more engaging, informative and little different from a live one-to-one lesson - Andy outlining typical errors made from the start and giving clear visuals and explanations throughout. In addition, I checked the reviews of this particular provider and they exceeded those of others, so always a good sign. Another reason was the financial outlay, the cost is way less than paying for one-to-one lessons, and for people on a budget this is a great way to access teaching without the huge expense of privately taught lessons. I have signed up for the year and will write another review at the end of the year's subscription, but am very impressed so far.
Not the normal review
I did the free trial and the course is very well presented. I completely forgot about having signed up and have noticed I’ve been charged for the past three months. I brought this up with customer support and have been issued a full refund for all 3 months within hours. If I could afford the subscription, I’d definitely pay for it, but just know if you spend your money here, and/ or sign up for the trial. You’re in safe honest hands!
AndyGuitar is amazing
I started learning guitar nearly 4 years ago. I joined AndyGuitar from day one of learning. I had to learn righthand as had a serious motorcycle accident. Andy taught me so much in the 3 years I was with him. Andy is one of the best out there by far. Ty Andy for 3 fabulous years and maybe someday we can meet up and jam together on stage.
A great online platform for learning
New to guitar and nervous of online content - don't panic. Andys guitar is perfect for any player. It starts with basic elements and depending on your knowledge and skills - or lack of you soon find the level you are at. Great editing and graphics help you learn and although a recording - Andy seems completely genuine and positive as if it's a private 1-1 session ?
I have progressed far faster than I thought possible. I have no reservations in recommending Andys Guitar.
I Have been learning guitar for 6…
I Have been learning guitar for 6 months and only just found Andy Guitar. I wish i had found this sooner !!
I love all the lessons, really well explained and i can chart my own progress and learning without feeling stupid about my lack of skills. Membership 100% worth it for a fantastic price. Very very happy
Best choice for my guitar journey
Was looking to learn the guitar but didn’t want to commit to weekly timed lessons. Watched Andy’s vids on YouTube and that was it. Been introduced to a fab group of likeminded guitarists who are happy to help each other. Andy’s course/videos/resources/feedback are fab and his instruction is calm, clear and understandable. It’s like having a private lesson and being part of a group course at the same time. He feeds back directly to your questions and queries. Best thing I did for my guitar journey was to join Andy.
Andy is the best online guitar…
Andy is the best online guitar teachers and I don’t say this lightly over the years like many others have tried guitar books other online guitar teachers amongst the countless YouTube lessons .
Yet Andy is the best, the lessons are well structured in a professional manner taking you from outright beginner to intermediate and beyond .
Whether you are wanting to learn acoustic or electric he covers all aspects of the of playing .
There are also countess video tutorials of songs for everyone’s taste
If you join his site there is also a live session with Andy on a Monday night 18.00 where you can ask questions about anything or request a song tutorial.
Give this a try guarantee you won’t be disappointed
Structured learning…
I found Andy guitar some six years ago and consider myself very fortunate it’s an excellent structured learning programme which has taught me how to play guitar to a very good standard. If you’re serious about learning then give it a go, don't just try a fumble your way through endless YouTube videos you definitely need structure and there’s also a community of friendly people to share your learning with if you choose to do so.
Andy is such a brilliant guitar teacher
Andy is such a brilliant guitar teacher
When I started with the 10 Day Acoustic Challenge I was amazed by how quickly I was able to start playing real songs and by the wide range of techniques and styles.
I immediately signed up for membership which I highly recommend.
Andy really understands how to teach beginners and has lots of courses with clear learning paths right through to intermediate, advanced and specific genres plus there are regular updates and loads of new song tutorials.
The live lessons on Mondays are a great place to get extra advice and guidance and using the Discord community is brilliant for support and motivation from other members.
Best Guitar Tutorials Online
I'm in my mid 70's and picked up a guitar about 18 months ago. Within an hour or so I was having a go at a song from my teenage years that I've always wanted to play. Now I have a collection of new and old songs I can play along to and my ability has come on in leaps and bounds. Andy's tutorials are clear to follow and gradually build your ability. The tutorial structure is well planned and starts at absolute beginner level leading through Improver and Intermediate level lessons. Unlike many guitar tutorials I looked at, he concentrates on teaching you how to play, not showing off how well he can. Brilliant!
The Best on-line Tutor
Andy has done more than any other person to help my guitar playing. Many videos are free on youtube but an annual subscription is a bargain. Literally hundreds of videos, and weekly live Q and A's
First class guitar teacher .
I would recommend Andy Guitar to anyone who wants a good structured approach to playing guitar .His coarse's are excellent in my opinion, and will help you whatever your current level is .Great value for your money .
Great value
I'm not naturally musical but this has really got me off to a great start. I think the subscription is good value because there is so much you can access and learn from. Highly recommended from me.
It always comes back to Andy Guitar
I tried numerous 'free' online courses, including Andy Guitar's beginner course. I then took 1 to 1 personal lessons but after 18 months came back to Andy Guitar and subscribed to the full AAA membership. 1 to 1 coaching was good but hugely expensive given my rate of progress and I was left to my own devices between weekly lessons.
Andy Guitar's AAA membership gives access to a vast array of courses, beautifully presented, from Andy and guest tutors but the real benefit is being part of a supportive community. Accessible 24/7, to discuss your issues (and wins) with like minded individuals.
The new Bert Weedon!
I picked up the guitar as a beginner just over a year ago, and signed up to the trial membership, his beginner course was simple to follow and soon had me strumming along to a few songs. I then signed up on a month on month basis, but soon moved to the full AA membership. I’m learning acoustic, and there’s a clear path, from beginner and for me the Fingerstyle course too was great. The supporting Discord community is full of helpful folks and we all support each other. We even do an Open mic Sunday, for anyone who fancies it.I recommend to anyone I know. Probably not for advanced players though.
Andy knows his stuff.
Andy starts teaching from the 'This is a guitar' first step. He doesn't assume you know anything and covers it all. Very rich assortment of courses and song tutorials with the added bonus of a discord community where members can help and encourage each other. I have leaned a lot from Andy over a period of 3 years and this old man's fingers are still learning.
Andy Guitar
Andy Guitar, is the greatest place for a hesitant beginner or an already experienced intermidiate musician, to try and make the most of their time invested there. I started as a beginner a year ago and i can already jam with other players or make my own songs. There are a ton of options for learning guitar online, but for me Andy has a certain quality that makes you wanna learn from him and is an extremely polite person even for a British. If you are looking for an online guitar tutor, you got him, he's the best dude. Even thoughhe has a lot of free stuff, going for the subscription really worths the money.
Great support with a personal touch
Ive been an AAA member of Andy Guitar now for a couple of years and I cannot fault it. Andy and other members have been the main reason for me persevering and enjoying my learning journey and the support we receive online and on the discord group is amazing. I have also met Andy on a number of occasions at various Andy Guitar events and have to say he’s a genuinely nice chap and always goes out of his way to help everyone. Whether online or in the flesh you always receive the personal touch from Andy 👍👍👍
Great teacher
I looked at lots of online guitar courses before I signed up for Andy guitar it's is without doubt the best decision I ever made the amount of courses and song videos is unbelievable and add to that the weekly online lesson that Andy takes himself makes learning the guitar a very enjoyable experience
Great experience. Supportive community
Having spent a good 2 years + attempting to learn guitar through other programs/ apps such as fender play or Yousician I found that I was making limited progress. Using andyguitar I was able to progress much faster and build up an understanding of why we play in certain ways rather than just following a bouncing dot on a screen. Other programs have been heavily USA based. It’s great learning with Andy and getting a feel for British rock!
