Accurate DNA analysis as far as my research goes, but is there any DNA tracing of my First Nations ancestry? I figure this may be an impossibility due to lack of FN data and tracking of same.

Terrible. Can't access anything without more money. Family matches are not correct, no health information, can't see anything as all is blocked. Never accessed anything that hit you up for money for everything from the get go. What's the point in getting DNA done if nothing is available. Money grab plain and simple. What I did see must have been manually added as most of it was incorrect.

I’m not impressed with the results. I feel that all I received is wrong information. Mike Alexander Gervais is my brother and Tim Gervais should read nephew along with Jason Neddow. They are my brother sons Marcel Gervais.
I was expecting something different as far as the rest, I haven’t seen or heard of them. I will go check with my oldest sister for she has the family tree done on my father’s side.

It is very expensive and ancestry.ca has an uncharge for absolutely everything!
You definitely need newspaper.com...but that's another charge.
Genealogy is big business it appears and keep an eye on your account as it auto renews and if you don't, that is the end of your genealogy experience
The site is very difficult to navigate and I am sure it is a deterrent for subscribers.

I paid to get some results that my cousin got from doing the free version and after paying and doing the paid version I got back some details but still needed to pay to see the family tree....it is not well communicated what I was paying for and what I am getting and that I need to pay for everyone other little thing.

Getting the test was easy. When it came time to ship it back I had to wait a couple weeks before I got a shipping label. I would talk to support and they just kept telling me wait 24 more hours over and over. Should send shipping labels in the test box to avoid this

I bought an upgrade from the lowest ancestry package but it seems I got only the lowest amount of information . I will be looking into this.

It was fascinating to compare my Ancestry results with my FTDNA results. A different take on it.

I like the fact that I was given Ethnicity estimates and which came from my parents but it seems this site is more geared towards North American ancestry which provides lots of tips and possible records to see. I am disappointed that there are virtually none from Europe. I did sign up with Ancestry to be able to search records but I’m not getting much information.

I had a good experience with my DNA test. The only criticism I have is that when I tried to access my return label, an error message resulted. I had to call Ancestry to resolve the issue. The phone call was professional and effective.

When a war in Ukraine is raging for more than 2 years many of us are looking to highlight our Ukrainian origins, you should advertise ahead of time that you are not able to give anything on specifically Ukrainian origins, having Eastern Russia and Ukraine as one huge region does not tell me anything, am utterly disappointed, no new information what so ever, it's a region with many different nations, Belarus is not Russia, Ukraine is not Russia, get it right already.

Big waste of money. Didn’t tell me anything I didn’t know - my mother was French and my father is a Scot . Big come on but little delivery
You learn no but a few old generic thoughts . Don’t waste your time.

Tremendously helpful in discovering your ancestry. Also answers a lot of lingering questions you may have of where you belong and who you are related to. Word of mouth no longer as reliable as science such as those provided by ancestry. Very Happy with results.

Disappointing experience until receiving the results.
Receiving the item took a long time, they shipped from Europe!?!
Did the test, went to print the return label and received errors. Called support who couldn’t help although they were friendly. Ended up having to email someone to get a label.
Took two weeks for the lab to receive, I acknowledge the postal system is responsible for that.
All in all, it was over two months from the time I ordered until the time I got results.

The results and information were quite interesting though, and the reason I left an average review.

The process up until the results was frustrating and extremely slow.

The results were ready about 2 weeks earlier than first anticipated! Although it took a very long time for the sample to arrive at Ancestry, they did a great and fast job!

We’ll I wasn’t impressed on my DNA results that I had paid for. I was hoping for some type of written report and to the point, instead I had to go all over my account for information and then wasn’t understanding most of it!

I am happy to see the results. I have one concern that my ethnicity results are divided into 2 regions. I was expecting that it would be more than 2 regions even with smaller percentages. It may be possible that ethnicity from DNA can only be done for past 300 years or so? If not then why 3 regions estimate is provided to me? This is a question mark for me.

I started this journey from watching long lost family program. By having my DNA out there I am hoping that if i have any children out there that I can provide some closure for them as I have not been made aware of their existence
