AnalystPrep is an outstanding provider with clear teaching, strong study materials, and an effective approach to exam preparation. The content is well structured, easy to follow, and designed to help students build real confidence and mastery. Both Irene’s world-class service and James Forjan’s teaching are excellent, and their work truly stands out. Overall, AnalystPrep delivers a high-quality learning experience that I would strongly recommend.

If you’re grinding through the CFA Level 1 curriculum, you know how dense the material gets. I found Professor James Forjan, PhD, CFA, and the AnalystPrep platform to be an absolutely essential resource for passing the exam.

The powerpoint slides/notes that the lecturer uses contain very basic errors. It seems that in putting together the notes, not enough reviewing and vetting was done. Also the lecturer seems to read off the notes and does not explain much. Especially if the notes are condensed version of the actual readings, i expect the lecturer to be doing more explaining vs just reading the notes on the slides. Also whilst i appreciate the lecturer for citing simple examples, more relevant examples in a CFA context would be helpful rather than James Bond, and cucumbers

The videos were brilliantly put together and the instructor (Dr James) was fun and passionate. The notes (especially for the current issues readings) served as good revision material. The question bank was expansive and helpful. My recommendation is that they add more exam level difficulty questions into the question bank. The exam questions were more complex than AnalystPrep especially for FRM part 2.

I found Analyst Prep during a Hail Mary moment in my CFA journey. I had made it through all of the CFAI and Bloomberg test prep- and none of it was sticking. Then, I found Dr. Jim’s videos! All of the sudden, I was engaged, things were so much clearer. His real world examples finally made things click. I loved the q-bank- and I am positive Analyst Prep brought me from a likely to fail with a 5% conf interval to a definitive pass!

Professor Forjan is extremely clear and consice in his explanation of CFA topic reviews. He simplifies concepts and cuts out all the nonsense material that other test providers add to their readings. I would not be able to get through my L2 review without these videos. Thank you so much!!

Great teaching techniques. I especially like the stories which makes concepts memorable; and this is both when you like the stories and when you don't. When you are doing the tests (EOC and mocks are a must), you might be like I hated that story which (sort of) distracted from the content but here I am actually remembering the content. This in combination with the EOC questions helped me cover the wide syllabus really fast, and I passed level 1, without taking time to make and read notes. Great stuff!!!

Analyst prep notes and video sessions by Prof. James Forjan for CFA programs are well organized and designed that keep you engaged throughout as it conveys complex concepts into a simplified version and builds up your learning confidence with every passing moment. Highly recommended!!! 👍 If possible, buy all 3 levels of CFA program in one package and get lifetime access to them. 🙂

This company has a joke of materials at its disposal. I tried them out for 10 minutes after purchasing and realized my mistake, tried to get a refund and they wouldn’t allow it. Save yourself the hassle.
