Well deserved closure

I see this company has now ceased trading - I am not surprised as our experience was a disaster
We sent photographs and measurements of our acces and they confirmed the size of truck they would send that would be able to enter
On the pickup they sent a 40 tonne semi trailer and the driver could not enter our house. Amoov suggested we hire a small van to shuttle our belongings between our house and a place where the truck could park AT OUR COST !! so we politely declined
10 days later they still could not pick up our belongings, each day costing us in penalties for not moving out as the new buyers were waiting
Cost to us was mare than double the quoted price and belongings not moved
I am please they are no longer in business as they were unprofessional, rude and unpleasant

Took Money and disappeared

This company took my money and disappeared without even moving the container from the port. They didnt send me an insurance certificate and now they have gone bankrupt. DO NOT CONTACT THEM

Really bad service

This company provide a very bad service and do not comply with their quotation. I would not recommend them at all and remain surprised they are still on TrustPilot !
Note: The International Movers Association have recently removed them from their listing !!

AMOOV FR has now filed for dissolution…

🚨 Serious Warning to Consumers and Creditors 🚨
AMOOV FR has now been expelled from the Association of International Movers (AIM) and had further filed for dissolution while leaving many creditors (clients and partners) unpaid. There are clear indications of fraudulent practices and misconduct, in addition to the several ones previously noted by Amoov Customers (fraudulent claims, use of false identities by Amoov Staff members and misleading schemes). I strongly urge anyone impacted to join the “Amoov Victims” Facebook group, to lodge an official objection to the dissolution published on the BODACC as soon as possible, and to contact the Pontoise Prosecutor as well as the French DGCCRF. This situation should not go unchallenged and the Director (which name I am not able to mention here considering Trustpilot policy) shall be personaly investigated for, amongst others, appearing to be using dissolution to fraudulently escape its obligations to creditors. There are numerous unresolved and pending claims both in France and abroad and clear signs of fraudulent practices.
Do not delay — protect your rights.

CLOSED FOR BUSINESS!! INSOLVENT!

CLOSED FOR BUSINESS!!! My stuff was to go from Brussels to Dubai. The movers came in September. Loaded everything no problem. Then I was invoiced with wrong amounts. When that was settled, I didn't hear anything for 3 months. This is my 3rd international move. Previous moves took at least 4 months. I wasn't worried until I realized I didn't get a Bill of Lading. Then I get an email from their ops that there was a delay in shipping my stuff due to technical difficulties and they would get back to me with a real update a week later. The following week I received an email that the company has filed bankruptcy in Hong Kong and is not doing any business. I have no idea what's going on with my stuff. Radio silence from them to my emails asking who has my stuff. I could have never foreseen this!

Scam

they are scammers (they dont even deserve a star) it starts well good communication, sign contract pay 40% and then no more communications. Good thing I knew where my things were and stayed in communication with the mover and was able to get my belonging back but will not get my money back as it looks like the company closed their doors and saw that when I tried to file a report on a french website.
Shame on them for doing that to all of us, honest people

Avoid this company

This company provides false shipping dates, missed shipping date with no explanation, use logos for which they refuse to provide the certifications, hold your belongings hostage, refuse to pay subcontractors, stop communicating for weeks and force clients to seek legal recourse.

My shipment is being held hostage in…

They are thieves who demanded more money after they knew they will file for bankruptcy.

My shipment is being held hostage in Saudi Arabia. Amoov has not paid the local delivery company. My shipment was loaded on the 22nd of April 2025. Arrived in Riyadh on the 27th of Oct. They ignored me for months and keep on relying with our team is doing their best. Just pay the fees like I did.
They charged extra 1000 euros for supposed early release port fees. And 300 odd extra for shipping cost.
And it has been 73 days since my goods have been in storage, because the local company wont release it until they get paid.
They are scammers. Avoid using them at all cost.

I have reported them to the fraud devision in France. Will report them in Saudi Arabia Bank fraud devision soon.

We did work for them for two of their clients over a year ago
We still haven't received payment for any of the work
They don't answer us, they don't pay us
I don't recommend moving a pencil from room to room with them

ir is a scam you can check the facebook group named victims of amoov . They will scam you don't work with this company .

We paid 1000€ as a deposit and then they didn't answer our mails

Thirty families, as of now, have had their household belongings picked up for international transport. Amoov takes your money and steals your house. They will not answer emails, WhatApp or the telephone.
Our Facebook group already has more than 90 followers, and we are organizing a class action. We believe that Amoov is posting its own positive reviews, as there is nothing positive about this company. Numerous victims can prove that AMOOV takes your money, demands more, and disappears with your household belongings. AMOOV is a SCAM and FRAUDULENT!! DO NOT USE!!!

Worst experience ever

Worst experience ever. Our stuff finally arrived after 13 months (our quote was 40 days). I have had to email and call them an unbelievable amount of times. They asked for a $1,400 “deposit” just before our stuff arrived and I have still not gotten a refund! They constantly give you new people to talk to despite being told you have one point person. Avoid this company at all costs.

At the time of placing my order

At the time of placing my order, told 8 weeks to ship, I still do not have the delivery 8 MONTHS later. Paid for entire container but they did LCL. Not happy please don’t make the same mistake in trusting AMOOV. No one there will even respond to my emails or calls. And now being chased for payment from another company that AMOOV have not paid.

My experience with this company was very disappointing. The company appears to work with a loose network of remote workers rather than a structured team. I was initially contacted by a sales agent, who provided a quote that was significantly lower than competitors and made verbal assurances that later turned out not to be accurate.

After that, a move manager took over. Communication with her was extremely difficult. Several things she said she would do were not done, or were done much later than stated. A few days before our scheduled moving date, the actual moving company (as Amoov does not perform the move themselves) still had no clear instructions about what needed to happen or when. This created a lot of uncertainty.

Because of these issues — and after hearing about similar experiences from others — I decided to terminate the contract. I was told by a finance guy that my deposit would be refunded, but a month later this has still not happened.

I have submitted formal complaints to FIDI, IAM, and Signal Conso (a French government platform for consumer complaints).

SCAM AMOOV!


I hired AMOOV for an international move from Paris to the Dominican Republic about five months ago. The initial quote was €7,800 for a door-to-door, all-inclusive service, and they told me it would take around 7 weeks. In the end, the move cost me over €16,000 and took 5 months to arrive.

After reading other customer reviews, I now realize I’m actually “lucky” that I even received my belongings at all — but definitely not thanks to AMOOV. The company completely stopped responding to emails, phone calls, or any form of communication. I had to personally contact the port and Dominican customs to finally get my shipment released and delivered to my home.

Two of my furniture pieces arrived completely broken. The so-called “insurance” they include in their service is a total lie — it doesn’t exist, and they ignore all messages about claims or damages.

This has been my experience, and sadly it matches what many others have gone through. There’s even a Facebook group with dozens of victims who have suffered the same kind of scam from this company.

I strongly advise everyone: stay far away from AMOOV. I wouldn’t recommend them even to my worst enemy.

Dreadful Service

Dreadful Service - Beware !
AMOOV took our goods in August to send to Australia to be in time for Christmas as agreed in sales discussion and final quotation!
It is now November, and our goods have not left AMOOV warehouse!!
Despite very many requests all we are told is 'we are working on it'! We have never had such a bad moving service as AMOOV France.

83 year old woman taken advantage of.

My 83 year old mother in California had personal items shipped from Italy in March to California. She paid them several thousand euros, but from the very start there were bad signs, as the outsourced movers AMOOV hired locally in Italy were a complete group of clowns, so they had to send a different team of movers and things finally started progressing. Some time during the summer, maybe August, my mother's goods SUPPOSEDLY arrived in the port of Oakland, but all we get are continuous emails of delays, strikes or customs delays and other BS runaround. Here it is November 2025, 8 months later and we still don't know where the shipment is, as it has not been delivered as AMOOV originally promised "door to door". This company is at best inconsistent and not transparent, and will ask you for more money after you have already signed a contract. I would not trust them with your belongings, and definitely do not give them any of your money.
