I had to wait until now to give my input, because I ....didn't want to "jinx" our situation by a good review too soon. Silly me, but I'm probably not the only one.
My little one is gone now but I do believe he was with me an extra year because of Aminavast. He was also getting fluids and epogen along with the Aminavast. We had a touch and go time immediately after he was diagnosed. I had to syringe feed him, etc.. But then I started the Aminavast and he rallied and began eating on his own. My vet said he was a miracle cat to be with me with his high numbers. It was heart failure that finally took us down.
I am now giving it to my remaining kits who are all getting senior and developing elevated kidney values. I think they actually like the way it tastes. It's supposed be to tasteless but I've tried it myself and found that it seems to have ...all I can describe it as is a "rich" flavor. I mix a couple of capsules twice a day with a little plate of tuna and also mix with meds and baby food daily for a couple of my other kits. They gobble it right up.
