Lack of transparency

I am not sure why google has suggested I complete this- coincidence or because I visited their website?

I feel my application was not dealt with in a fair or transparent manner and the loan subject was disclosed to them right on day 1 and seemingly accepted. Only much later after constant backwards and forwards with documents did they decide that the fundamental purpose disclosed on day 1 didn't match their criteria.

I fully accept any lender's right to decline an application, but I expect a certain level of professionalism and integrity when doing so and preferably in a timely manner. I'm afraid that has not been my experience on this occasion and so no, I cannot recommend them.

Good luck to anyone applying for funding, even if like me, fully secured. It seems the industry is moving more towards short term, low value but high gain loans, perhaps in order to re-balance their own liquidity in a post Corona World.

PS I know at some point they'll be along to tell me that they're great, I'm just bitter about not getting the loan. No, I'm bitter about the length of time they've taken to read a document given weeks ago. It's lost me my chance at an alternative.

We have used Amicus in our business for…

We have used Amicus in our business for several years now and have found everyone to be incredibly professional and polite throughout the process of lending. Amicus will go above and beyond to arrange the funding that’s right for you and your business. In recent times when the pandemic struck Amicus were incredibly supportive and patient and made sure our business remained financially stable. Jeremy and Robert are incredibly knowledgeable industry veterans and very resourceful in taking a pragmatic approach and I would have no hesitation in recommending them for your business requirements.
