A & M Friendly Movers is the worst in the world. Here was my experience. I moved the end of September, 2025. I hired them. They claim to have family values and seemed like a good group. The day I moved three showed up. One white guy and two black ones. The black guys argued with the white guy that they needed to be paid more money. This went back and forth for approx 20 minutes while I watched. Then the white guy went and sat in the truck while the two black men carried my items out (2 or 3 at a time) to the truck. I was wondering why they didn't have a dolly. I had between 80 to 100 boxes and some furniture. At this rate, it would have taken all day and I paid by the hour. I later found out this was deliberate to rack up the bill. When I questioned the owner who I never saw about the dolly all of a sudden (and this was towards the end of moving out) they came in with a dolly that they had stowed on the truck. With a dolly you can carry loads of boxes in one swipe.
Now we get to my new address. I had each box marked where it should go and what room to put it in. I was very organized. They brought it in and dumped it in a pile in the center of the kitchen and living room. I had one big mess!!! I had no idea what was where or what was at the bottom of the pile. I never saw the white guy. He was in the truck all the time. I'm now thinking how unprofessional this whole ordeal was. It was quite scattered and disjointed. I had regretted hiring them.
Now the aftermath. After a few days and digging through my possessions I found that they had broken my air conditioner. It was thrown on the porch and the side was off. I was horrified. That was an expensive air conditioner and the model does not exist anymore. So now I pay for repairs. Then I found my air purifier, in pieces. I wanted to cry. So the unpacking continues. I slid my $300 Lazy Boy leather office chair that was only three months old to my desk and saw a hole in the seat. They sat something on top of it and put the hole in the seat.
I called and told them of the damage. I took photos. I sent them. No response. I called and get voice mail. They will not take care of the damages they caused or even speak to me. Do not hire these people. Only if you can afford to replace your belongings. I was treated very disrespectfully by the owner and now I'm out my belongings and have to pay out more money for repairs of the damaged goods. They are scammers.
