We Had such a great experience with Jonathan and Gwen helping us with our loan they were professional and and helpful in answering questions that we had thank y’all so much!
Do not use this company if you can avoid it. unfortunately my home loan was sold to them so I couldn't. Their escrow department lied to me multiple times, continues to drop my calls/transfers, and now I'm stuck with late fees from the county that I have to pay due to their negligence. The fact they can service VA loans is unacceptable.

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. Worst mortgage company I have ever worked with, they paid our property taxes with an exempt on file, and now they are saying they never received it, and now are making us pay back their mistake until the city pays them back. We also had issues getting our refund back from them for the property taxes we paid to them before the exemption. Everytime I call customer support, I get a different answer and they never know whats going on. If you are looking to get a mortgage with them, do not, they are horrendous.

Jonathan Wu was extremely helpful throughout this whole process. I had a lot of questions that he happily addressed and kept me informed throughout. This was a smooth, effortless process on my side thanks to his help.
Irene helped close this one out too.
Terrible Company - Service is awful. They only care about receiving their payment.
Apparently when loans are sold/transferred to them, due diligence is not requirement. As a result escrow is not reviewed against closing disclosures and when insurance or property tax payments need to be made AmeriHome says "its not being escrowed".
Getting a live person requires threatening legal action.
Issue is still not resolved after over 24 hours of initial outreach and numerous emails to the customer support line. AmeriHome Servicing needs to do a lot better.
poor communication, issues with escrow, difficulties in contacting customer service

This is the worst Mortgage Servicing company I have ever encountered. I can’t imagine a worse experience with customer service. They seemed the have hired a bunch of humans that are no more helpful than bots and can’t give you any straight answers. Paperwork is always a mess and they have messed up more things for us than I can begin to count. I am hoping and praying that our mortgage gets switched to a better servicer.

I've had to contact them every month to correct a payment issue. The online portal is the worst and they do not offer live chat. It takes days to get an email response.

Jonathan and Danielle were great in our process of refinancing our home. Very open and timely with communication during it all.
I seriously wouldn't even give them a one star. My loan was serviced to AmeriHome before my first mortgage payment was due. My first mortgage payment to them was sent in the exact same envelope with an additional check towards principal only thinking this would be the easiest route to make sure it got applied where it belonged. Boy was I wrong. They cashed the $500 check and applied it to I don't even know what and they LOST my actual mortgage payment check so it looks like I didn't make my mortgage payment online. I talked to multiple people and it is suppose to be getting investigated. Decided to go ahead and make another payment to cover January and told them to just apply the missing check payment to February's payment. I get on today to look at my account to see if there was any news with the missing check only to see that they have my payment that I just made to cover the check they lost noted as "misapplication reversal" and now has me behind on my mortgage again. I called them and the lady couldn't explain what happened and I had to "request" it to get applied to January.....WHAT??????? IT WAS!!!!!!!! Still no explanation on what is going on, no call back and nothing fixed, just me being behind on my mortgage payment AGAIN and now have to hope my credit don't get dinged for late payment which they assured me I wouldn't but at this point I really cant believe what they are saying because I don't think they even know what they are saying. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE service my loan so I can get away from you guys.

Refinance of existing Mortgage Loan Officer Jonathan Wu processing manager Patricia Fite were great and kept me informed throughout the process
Jonathan and Jason were the best. My refi of my home was a smooth and easy process. They did all the hard work for me. I would absolutely do it all again.
Support is unavailable by phone or email. Their automated telephone system will cause any sane person to go crazy. It is a joke. No matter which choices you make it will always send you back to the main menu. If you choose sales, it will make you listen to music for literally an hour.. yes I stayed on for an hour just to see. This was on a weekday during office hours.
For not supporting veterans or family of veterans. After they have passed and automatically sell to another mortgage company. when they found out he has passed
I am very happy with Jonathan Wu's help in refinancing my mortgage. He was very kind and helpful, and the entire transaction was smooth.
Our mortgage recently started going through AmeriHome and we’ve had nothing but issues. The transition was not seemless and on top of it, we switched insurance companies and they have made it the most difficult transition. I called the day before our insurance was going to change to give them the heads up. I was talked down to like I was an idiot for wasting my time calling and told they couldn’t do anything since the new insurance hadn’t started yet (I wasn’t asking them to do anything, I just wanted them to be aware of the change happening the next day). Then a few weeks later we get a letter saying we don’t have insurance so we need to buy some or they will for us. Our insurance company has already sent them the invoice with proof that we have insurance but they haven’t paid them from our escrow yet. To top it all off, when I go to upload the proof of insurance, it wants to send a verification number to a number that is neither my husbands or mine. Did some searching and it somehow has the number for one of the schools in the district I work at. There is no possible way that number was ever entered by me or my husband so I’m not sure how they ever got that number to be one associated with our account. I’d call to complain but I don’t feel like being berated again by someone that chose to do that job for a living. I’m hoping our mortgage gets sold again to a company that has better customer service and has an app that is easy to use.

I’ve had nothing but good experiences with this company. Got my first mortgage with them, then refinanced and it was a breeze. Khoi and Jonathan were great to work with.
TRYING TO MAKE MY MORTGAGE PAYMENT ONLINE SERVIER IS DOWN

Amerihome bought out my mortgage and had 60 days to get my info in the system. I called once a week for almost 2mos because my escrow overage was put into Service Mac ( managed by Amerihome) and Amerihome claimed I have a shortage on my Escrow Statement from them. The customer service reps are good but nobody in their department can access where my money is so I can prove I don't have a shortage with the upcoming escrow statement! They send an email to a woman who is supposedly handling my case on Christmas Eve to call me, but it is now January 6 and I haven't heard anything... Would love to have another company buy out my mortgage just so I wouldn't have this trouble
