Corey in client care did a fantastic job in helping my claim get partially covered. Always call after the initial decision on a claim.

Ian was extremely helpful in updating my policy!!
Issue resolved completely
Today I was lucky to contact a customer-centric professional who was able and willing to assist me with the issue. She canceled the contract and provided a refund upon researching and doing her due diligence. A great example of customer service.
I emailed as requested and even called a couple more times but still haven’t any response. So I called just to cancel and be done with other possibilities, but ended up cycled through hold again. I’ll be happy to update this again once they’ve canceled the warranty and provide the refund. Apparently they are normally required to do so with just a request to. This is a request for cause.
I spoke with two representatives, both misrepresented the facts which make it nearly impossible for my warranty to begin for a very long time although they would be charging me for it. In fact it was the only thing that made my decision to contract with them. Only to learn it was a lie in advertising and in sales conversations. Then when I called to talk about it they put me on hold for an excessive amount of time. So I called to cancel and they put me on hold once again saying it would just be a minute - one of the longest minutes I’ve experienced. So I give up… I’m leaving reviews and will file a grievance with BBB and AGs office. Buyer beware, malarkey - I’m old enough to know to contact authorities when being scammed.

I decided to cancel this coverage after…
I decided to cancel this coverage after I read the contract. If you are looking for warranty coverage this style of coverage is mainly for serious issues with your vehicle. And there's also caps in labor if it exceeds what they would pay per hour of your mechanic wages where you have to pay the deductible and difference in wages. And there's alot things that voids approvals if you don't file a claim in a certain order. I bought the highest level of coverage and I must say it's seems to not be the best. Read the contract, don't trap or give away free money. At the end of the day they are going to deny your claim based on the contract they provide. If you don't have enough time to read the contract have Chat gpt read it for you and weight out the pros and cons. But I canceled immediately after purchasing it yesterday. Too many red flags.

Customer service rep Tom was kind and answered all my questions and concerns. He not only directed me to my contract by emailing it to me again. He also told me it could be in spam if I don’t see it. He volunteered to mail me a hard copy. I appreciate that. Said it will be here approximately 7 days. Thanks so much Tom for your professionalism and kindness
John was very helpful.

I had a very disappointing experience…
I had a very disappointing experience with American Dream Auto Protect. Their customer service is extremely poor, with long wait times and little effort to actually resolve issues. The biggest problem is that they do not honor their warranty coverage as it is described when you purchase the plan.
When it came time to file a claim, I was met with delays, excuses, and unexpected exclusions that were never clearly explained upfront. It felt like they were looking for reasons to deny coverage rather than stand behind their promises.
If you’re considering an extended auto warranty, I would strongly recommend doing thorough research before choosing this company. Based on my experience, the service and coverage did not live up to what was advertised.

They do not cover anything, FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD
They do not cover anything, they make up excuses not to pay. Don't walk, run from these fraudsters. I've file a BBB report, look at the site and see what they do.

Save your money, don’t bother…
We purchased an extended warranty through American Dream for my 2018 Volvo XC90 to protect against high-cost repairs. After approximately two years of ownership, the vehicle experienced a driveshaft issue.
We brought the vehicle to our local Volvo dealership, which prepared and submitted the required documentation to American Dream. The dealership repeatedly provided the same documentation and copied us on all correspondence. Despite this, American Dream repeatedly stated that it had not received the documentation. Since the car was not drivable, the dealership retained the vehicle for nearly two weeks during this process and our claim was ultimately denied.
American Dream’s explanation was that, although the driveshaft itself was a covered part, the component that caused the failure was excluded from coverage; as a result, the entire claim was denied. We were therefore required to pay $4,000 out of pocket for the repair, and received no reimbursement from American Dream.
Following this experience, we elected to cancel the warranty. When we contacted customer service, the representative told me that an upgraded policy — which I was not informed about or offered at the time of purchase — likely would have covered this repair and we should have called at the time of denial to try to work a solution out,why was it denied if it potentially been paid? The representative also indicated that American Dream has discontinued using the third-party adjudicator previously responsible for determining claim eligibility due to a large number of claim denials and subsequent cancellations. Furthermore, we prepaid for the warranty, when we cancelled we were due a refund of about $900, 3 months later we have yet to receive the refund.
I find the denial of an entire claim based on an excluded sub component to be specious, deceptive and unacceptable.

Be aware of misrepresentation and…
Be aware of misrepresentation and fraudulent practices! The American Dream Auto Protect sales rep quoted me their best Exclusionary Package, including the Electronics Package, Seals and Gaskets, and Emissions/Exhaust (stating it would literally cover bumper to bumper), all for $117.60 per month for 25 monthly payments providing me with a 5-year extended warranty package with unlimited mileage for my car. When I received the contract, I discovered my credit card had been charged $134.28 for the first month and the package "EXCLUDED" the Electronics Package, the Seal & Gaskets Package, and the Emissions/Exhaust Package. I contacted the Customer Service Department and while the CS rep did email me confirmation of cancellation of the contract with confirmation of a refund to my credit card, she was not willing to provide the extended warranty at the price the sales rep quoted, even though it was said to be all on a recorded line. The CS representative then offered me their Exclusionary Package to include the Seals and Gaskets, Emissions/Exhaust Package, and the Luxury Electronics Package for $127.30. When I reached back out to accept the revised offer from the CS representative, no one could connect me with her. This prompted me to post a negative review on the internet, and that resulted in a response to my review, requesting that contact them to resolve the issue. I've reached out multiple times, but with no response. I finally got a call from a person who first claimed to be a manager, but later stated he could not honor the revised offer because he was not a manager, but he could have a sales rep quote me a new price! I requested he transfer me to the CS rep that quoted me the revised offer, and he hung up on me. I now see why American Dream Auto Protect has an "F" rating with the BBB. I only wish I had checked first. I hope me telling others about this fraudulent misrepresentation will help other consumers in making a better decision for extended auto warranties.

When I submitted a claim
When I submitted a claim, they refused to pay saying I had driven the car after first hearing the suspension noise (I told them I had maybe driven 30-40 miles before taking it to the shop). Then when I called American Dream to cancel the policy, I was on hold for more than 40 minutes, had called three times and no one ever answered even though pressing other options like wanting to sign up got me an almost immediate answer. Even internal transfer to the right department to cancel never got anyone to answer. Stay away from this company!

I’m giving this company a one star…
I’m giving this company a one star review because I can’t give them negative stars. They suck! Do not use this company! I know they have a lot of 5 star reviews. I’m going to be honest I haven’t read them. But from what I have seen on the internet is they have good reviews when they are taking your money, but after that the are shady. And let me tell you they are.
I was told 24-48 hours of an estimated time to get back to my dealership. It’s already 144 hours and they are telling me that it could be another 48 possibly. And that not counting that I dropped my car off at my dealership on a Friday before a holiday weekend. So sure, I’ll give them the first 72 hours. I’m not even counting that in the 144 hours that I have been waiting. It’s totally unacceptable to take that long. I honestly don’t care about whatever excuses they are giving me. And I’m sure you won’t either when you’re waiting weeks to even get any work started on your vehicle.
I paid my policy in full, and they were happy to take my money. But now that it’s time for them to make good on their part of the deal all I get is attitude from the people at customer service. And that’s after the extended time on hold waiting for them to answer the phone. So if you do make the mistake of using this company not only be prepared for rude service, but also long periods of being put on hold.
I can’t emphasize enough how bad this company is! Stay away from them.
**I got an email telling me that my review was published. So I looked at it and noticed that right as my review went live a five star review was also published from what sounded like a bot or some new sucker they con’d into writing a review. This company is so fraudulent. If this is Indeed a genuine review I feel sorry for you buddy and marking the same mistake I made buying a policy from this company.
Well, since i can’t review this company again for 24hrs I will just update this review. Well yesterday I was told that they may need another 24hrs. But the lady i talked to said she would try to get it done within an hour. Well I bet you guess how well that worked out. Still waiting another day. So now it’s day 11! That’s right folks day 11! And still no progress. My dealership is pissed! I’m pissed and when i finally get through to them after waiting over a half hour on the phone i get hung up on because they didn’t like my language. Well if you don’t want people upset and cussing i recommend not taking nearly two weeks and still have no progress. They keep using the excuse that it was a three day weekend. That was over a week ago now. Also any person that I eventually speak to gets awful touchy when bring up their horrible customer service and likely hood that they a con’s. Not exactly the gleaming customer service that you read about in all the two line reviews that you read. Which I am starting to believe are bots or paid reviewers. I am going to be filing complaints with my attorney general and the FTC and the BBB.
Again I can’t stress enough to find another company to work with.

Sal was great and helped me with a lot…
Sal was great and helped me with a lot of of information,
This company is SCAM
This company is SCAM, I purchased a warranty plan two years ago, paying around $150 a month for the highest package. My vehicle broke down on me, they lied said they would pay for a tow and I had my car towed to the shop, they not only refused to pay for repairs but also the towing. Then lied to get me to change my review after reporting them. They lied about not requiring a deductible but how will I pay a deductible when you refused to pay for repairs. It also took them almost a month to send someone to look at my car while at the dealership. This company is very shady and they get new customers to do surveys when they haven't received any type of service. They do this to keep from people seeing the truth behind the company. Most of the good ratings are from new customers not customers that had repairs completed. Make sure you look at the recent negative review when doing business with them.
