Internally, some of their managers ignore the desires, comments and requests of the client, making their own decisions.

The use of third parties interferes with clear communication.

The third parties are unresponsive, creating additional communication issues with American Book Experts. Furthermore, they do not take responsibility for any actions. Making problem solving and resolution difficult.

If you want a good/positive experience, stay clear of this company.

I do not recommend them. But decide for yourself, actually if you like drama, and roller coaster rides this might be for you.
Due to lack of follow through, I had to hire a company that could complete the project. Since American book experts never completed my illustrations, cover, or book descriptions edits, book edits. I hired another company to do all these things.

While the book eventually got published there were multiple delays that caused the book to be published way beyond the promised date. We had to change editors multiple times in the process because they did not listen to feedback the authors provided during that process. This resulted in a loss of sales. The company makes promises and does not follow up on them unless you put pressure on them to do so. Once the book is published they then try to sell you additional services. This seems to be where they make their money. I felt like I was trying to be sold a timeshare. At the end of the day promises are made but not kept. I am in the process now of disputing a charge for additional services were guarantees were made and the company did not follow through.
