Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 456 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers expressed dissatisfaction with the subscription, feeling it no longer offered value for money due to increased prices and diminished benefits. The delivery service was a major point of contention, with numerous complaints about delayed, unreliable, and even missing packages, despite paying for expedited shipping. Reviewers also found the product quality and service to be declining, often receiving wrong or damaged items and facing difficulties with customer support. The content offered through the service was also criticized, as many films and series required additional payment or were interrupted by ads, further diminishing the perceived value of the subscription. However, some customers still appreciate the broad selection of products and the convenience of shopping, though they acknowledge the recent decline in service quality.

Tired of Amazons next day promises

Seems like it’s time to end my prescription. Amazon has definitely had a regular event of allowing items to be published as next day or before 8am delivery. Only to have your package delivered 2 days later. Bad service for sure. Obviously it’s not about the customer it’s becoming about filling your pockets

Amazon Doesn’t Care About the Working…

Amazon Doesn’t Care About the Working Man — And the Clock Is Ticking on People Like Josh
Posted April 6, 2026
I’ll be honest upfront: I missed the return window. I know. I owned it. I apologized. But what followed revealed exactly who Amazon is when policy is on their side and you have nothing left to leverage.
The item — a CyberPower UPS, still sealed, never opened, never touched — sat in original packaging because life buried me. My grandfather passed away. My mother was diagnosed with cancer. I was fighting depression, drowning in school deadlines, managing financial pressure, and my car was dead in the driveway with a failed ABS brake module I couldn’t afford to fix. I wasn’t being careless. I was surviving.
I asked for anything reasonable — store credit, account credit, a goodwill exception, something. I wasn’t demanding. I was asking a billion-dollar company to act human for sixty seconds.
Josh, the supervisor I was escalated to, said no. Every way I asked. No creativity. No empathy. No attempt to actually help. Just policy repeated back like a shield.
Here’s what Josh and people like him don’t seem to realize yet: the same technology that’s reshaping every other industry is coming for customer service management too. The idea that a supervisor role — one that amounts to reading policy and saying no — is somehow untouchable? That era is ending. AI doesn’t get tired. It doesn’t clock out. And frankly, in this interaction, it would have shown more flexibility and human decency than Josh did.
Amazon calls itself customer-obsessed. But customer obsession apparently expires with your return label. After that, you’re on your own — grieving, sick with worry about your mother, broke, and being told there’s nothing anyone can do by someone who made zero effort to find out if that’s actually true.
This wasn’t about the money. It was about being treated like a person. Amazon failed. Completely.

Company is the worse, every time and item comes through damaged, we'll that comes from a third party, not us, we cant help you. Im done with this nonsense, I bought from Amazon, period. I ordered two lulu bunny for my grandchildren, they come in little metal baskets, on basket was bashed, dented, and unusable. The company didnt wrap to protect from damage they just wrapped paper around them. Now I only had 1 present or no presents. Thanks Amazon, dont you think its time to stop having horrible companies sell on your site. I cancelled Prime, Im done the 14th. Refund or not, you damaged our families Easter!!!

Amazon prime consistently lies

Amazon prime consistently fails to deliver and lies to customers. Promises delivery slots, don't deliver and then write emails stating 'delivery has been attempted'. I have lived at the same address for 4 years, building is manned by concierge 24/7 + I have received 100s of Amazon prime parcels at that address. a) problems wih the address is a gross lie. b) There is no way anyone can attempt delivery without speaking to concierge. Noone from Amazon Prime has. 2nd gross lie! This has happened several times in the last month. It is GROSS and when you report it to Amazon Prime, you get offered £10 and where is my product promised yesterday 18.00? Still not there and received email stating please wait until 9 April - for a product due yesterday. GROSS!!!!!!

For the 2nd time in 2 0r 3 weeks

For the 2nd time in 2 0r 3 weeks, items that I ordered because they were next day delivery, turned out to be late OR the items on a different order were "lost". I really that I'm throwing away money for Prime. It's just not worth it. There have been other instances too. Maybe it's time to switch to Walmart.

Across the board crap

Over a minute and a half of unskippable ads every ten minutes for a service i pay for. And so many unvetted useless sellers on the buying stuff side. I have never seen a delivery truck that was damaged leave their warehouse and they havent delivered to the correct address once. Always directly accross the road.

For the subs we pay we are hardly getting anything back from, in fact Amazon has been in contractual failure and they just say sorry....
There is no point paying for Prime...

Terrible business ethics

After years of using Prime, I cancelled my account last month for personal reasons. I received the confirmation email that the membership was cancelled, and would not be renewed. Then 2 days later, I was charged the full membership fee. When I logged into my account, the membership was switched back to active. The customer service chat would only give me the option to cancel and receive a partial refund, and a customer service phone number is not readily available on their site. After finally finding the number, I had to repeatedly request a representative at least 5-6 times, before finally being connected to someone. The person who helped me was very nice, and quickly resolved things for me, processing a full refund.

Prime TV with adverts and adverts and adverts

Prime TV - used to be good value as it included free Amazon delivery BUT... now, more adverts than programs and adverts are all Amazon focused and repeated endlessly, I assume this is an attempt to make you pay extra for supposed Ad Free ,, but quite often films and programs open with This program id only available with Ads..... Time to call it a day, with all the streaming services available For me Prime has had its time.

This was an extremely frustrating and…

This was an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience with Amazon.

While making a purchase, there was no clear option to proceed without starting an Amazon Prime trial. It genuinely felt like there was no way to complete the order without agreeing to it. This is very misleading and feels intentionally designed to push users into a subscription they do not want.

There was also no clear notification or reminder about when the trial period would end. As a result, I was charged for Amazon Prime without actively choosing to continue the subscription.

What makes it worse is that I never used any Prime benefits at all. I only shop on Amazon a few times a year, so this subscription is completely unnecessary for me.

Trying to contact customer support was another nightmare. I spent nearly an hour trying to find a way to chat with a real person. The system constantly redirects you through endless help pages, making it almost impossible to actually get support. This feels intentional and extremely frustrating.

Overall, this experience feels deceptive and user-unfriendly. Between the unclear subscription process, unexpected charges, and inaccessible customer support, this has seriously damaged my trust in Amazon.

If this is not resolved properly, I will definitely consider using alternative platforms in the future.

The last few things I have ordered have been deposited in a public foyer.

The last few things I have ordered have been left in the foyer of my apartment building despite the delivery driver stating that they had "handed the package to the householder".
This is a public foyer and by not delivering my purchases directly to me, you are in flagrant breach of your own purchasing and supply policy.
I will be taking this matter to my local trading standards office which is operable through every local authority body in the UK.
I shall therefore be contacting Camden Trading Standards.

This application lacks value and is a scam.

This application lacks value; I initiated a 30-day trial, but within two days, I was informed that a valid payment method was required to upgrade to a paid membership, which resulted in the suspension of my benefits. This behavior raises concerns about the legitimacy of the service; if it were genuinely free for 30 days, payment issues would not be pertinent until the trial period concluded. This has been the most disappointing experience I have encountered. They attempted to charge my card during the initial 30-day trial period for the first month's payment. Tubi TV and Pluto TV are always free with almost better shows and movies. These other TV app like Amazon prime, Netflix and others sucks or are racist because they have no black shows and movies, all mostly white people movies and shows. Then they expect people to pay for this bullshit and Tubi TV and Pluto TV are given to us free.

Packages left on front doorstep in rain. Items sodden.

Delivery instructions say leave in green house. Delivery note says left in or near greenhouse. Delivery photo clearly shows Packages on doorstep.
