I was charged for any item that i touched or read the label. Never went anywhere near my cart.
They need signs that say you touch you buy. Then have to call overseas and spend 1/2 hour fixing the issue. I also didn't get credit on $58.03 of items that were charge throughout 5 visits. I called and they said it was too late. What is the sense of all the cameras if they overcharge you ever visit for reading labels.
Each of the below orders I was charged for reading something. I shouldn't of trusted the technology.

Every time I go to add to my Fresh order…hours before delivery and according to the timetable they show my order has not been boxed up yet…3 times I have attempted to add something and they will not allow it. If your not going to allow it don’t offer it as part of your service. This is so annoying.

Horrible experience - Amazon is Fired
Horrible experience,again. So you place the order and pay for it. Then 1 hour before delivery they cancel order for no reason and say “sorry” but hey you can order again…. Then 7 of items increase cost by 11 bucks total! Then they don’t credit you back for 3-5 days, if ever. Horrible experience and I’m done with them for groceries. Anywhere else. Then good luck trying to leave a review or talk with anyone.
A frequent problem of temperature…
A frequent problem of temperature control seems to be getting worse. Frozen items arrived totally thawed today and refrigerated items were barely cool. Food becomes unsafe for eating. Are the delivery drivers not required to use ice? I would pay for ice in my deliveries to keep items cold. I hope Amazon sees this and implements new temperature controls.
Amazon 'fresh' frozen food arriving thawed/spoiled
As has become their usual, Amazon 'fresh' groceries arriving partially to COMPLETELY thawed out. I live in Arizona, and order Amazon regularly due to my immobility. Regrettably, for the last year, Amazon's drivers or packaging staff (whomever is dropping the ball) is not packaging sufficient frozen water bottles - if they add these at all. My freezer items regularly taste... off. This is due to being thawed and refrozen, on every order for a year now. ...EVERY order for a YEAR!!
This could just as well be, at least in part, due to too many stops per delivery - as the likelihood of completely thawed, rather than partially, tends to correlate to deliveries where I have 4 or 5 stops before me. This is Arizona, Amazon. If you plan to service this sweltering State, please do it correctly.
Update 6/4/24:
The frozen bottles AND insulated bags really do work. Isn't a little extra money per delivery better than the couple thousand dollars I've spent this year through Walmart+ Delivery ?

There is NO temperature control
There is NO temperature control - I had ice cream delivered in a paper bag with a very small ice pack! The ice cream was not edible as liquid and when i reported this to amazon I was treated like I was committing fraud! The service was very poor and the key point amazon refused to take on board was delivering frozen or chilled goods in a paper bag without and temperature control is dangerous. I wouldn't leave shopping in my car for 2-3 hours+

My problem was always that they refused to carry the order up the stairs. They'd leave it on the ground floor of the apmt building, and I'd have to make a bunch of trips because I'm weak with health problems and can't carry much at a time. (This is the only reason I even get groceries delivered).
I called each time this happened. They'd apologize and promise it wouldn't happen again. I'd wait a few months, hoping it improved. Then same thing would happen.
So I decided to only order if I had someone to help me carry the items up. Recently ordered again, and again they left items on ground floor. AND the items were delivered in wet paper bags, from all the items being DEFROSTED and soaking wet from that. The bags were soggy and hard to carry without the paper ripping from that.
Then I had to throw away the entire order of anything perishable. While they did refund me, the physical effort of carrying the wet defrosted dripping groceries up the stairs, AND then back down to the trash dumpster, was a huge amount of effort for nothing.
Plus the fact that they deliver spoiled things, which means I will never trust them again for perishables.
Just why would anyone order from them ever again? I firmly decided even if I was starving and they were the last delivery grocery company on the planet, NO.
Never again.
Also, what if there weren't a lot of frozen items in the oder? I might not have realized everything was allowed to spoil, if it wasn't dripping and they were things like just dairy, fresh juices, or other foods that maybe didn't reek yet, but had still gone bad?
Not worth the risk.
A grocery delivery company needs to do 2 things. 1) deliver. 2) not sicken people with spoiled food. Is it that hard? Clearly it is for them. They failed both.

I have been to an Amazon Fresh shop today for the first time ever!
Primarily, just to check our what kind of grocery items they would have in.
As I didn't have the Amazon Fresh App downloaded on my cell phone yet, I was told I
could even enter the shop while using my credit card instead!
Eventually I found 5 items I wanted to buy.
When I approached the exit to pay for the items I was told these 5 items have already
been charged to my credit card!? That there are cameras inside the shop screening
and supervising every step and movement I did inside the shop!
Well, what an unpleasant surprise indeed! Welcome to Amazon surveillance state!!!
Neither, I have been told, could I cancel the transactions anymore!?!
Then I asked for a receipt, but I was told the shop couldn't provide it!!!
Instead I should wait a few days before checking my credit card account!!!
Should there be a problem I should call up customer service!!!
This is an concept I certainly don't like and way of doing business I haven't been
informed about before entering the shop!
I would rather receive a receipt immediately so I can check if I have been charged correctly!
Especially, as I have been also told that they would charge me an extra amount of roughly
a dollar for each bought item since I entered the shop on a Sunday!?

Amazon NOT-Fresh
Amazon Fresh stopped delivering groceries with ice packs or frozen bottles or cooler bags. All frozen foods are bagged in regular brown paper bags with no insulation, treated the same as room temperature items. The delivery drivers do not have coolers in their cars, so it is not temperature controlled. It can take many hours until it finally arrives. Everytime i open the bags, i notice that all the frozen stuff is melted, thawed, spoiled. If i try to freeze it immediately, it doesnt help, the food is already bad. Sometimes i try it anyway and i get very sick from all of the food. Its not like one specific item that has an issue, its ALL the cold food items that are not properly handled and end up causing food poisoning. So i have to throw away a bunch of food which is such a shame to waste. And then get no refund from Amazon support because theyre all a bunch of robots... someone really needs to stop Amazon because they are getting a lot of people sick and not taking any responsibility for it.
Sent dangerous product, only half replacement sent while customer service lied
Where to begin on a now weeks long saga to get two safe floorjacks.
I ordered 2 floorjacks in the beginning of April. They're made to support tons of weight but were separate pieces. Meaning if you could somehow even get it to stay up, tons of weight WILL SUDDENLY slip.
I order two more different floorjacks after the refund is processed. It was "out for delivery" Saturday but arrived Tuesday.
It being a rather large item, I immediately knew before opening that it was either the wrong item or only jack. It was only 1 jack. The package weight was 35lbs which is the weight of 1 jack meaning only 1 was even sent out.
I immediately call Amazon and was told a replacement was being sent. Two days pass and I think it's odd I haven't received an order confirmation or anything so I call to check the status.
I find out I was basically lied to and no replacement order was sent. I ask to speak to a supervisor at which point I'm attempted to be talked out of it. After a few minutes, I'm put on hold for another few minutes and finally get a supervisor.
I could barely hear her as it sounded like a bunch of people talking in the background. Not customer service talking but like family or friends just having a very loud conversation.
I'm told again a replacement is being sent.
I didn't expect more but nothing besides an apology was offered for being lied too and waiting weeks for 2 simple items.
This was most definitely my very last amazon order of my entire life. If the only place to get oxygen became amazon, I would happily start writing my will
JUST SAY NO TO AMAZON FRESH
I spent several hours over a few weeks to make my Amazon Fresh online delivery order, as they kept being out of everything and I have poor internet. I haven't shopped in many months due to finances. I finally ordered yesterday and and they were all booked up for delivery till the next day. So I booked for next day 10am-12pm.
Then nothing but problem on delivery day from they can't find my order, to it's late, to cancelling my order due to they're technical issues internally they said. And I'd have to start all over. They put a hold on my CC for 5 business days and so I CANT EAT AND IM THIN.
They told me I could start over. Oh bTW, I've been Prime Member for years.
I can't afford food with my CC tied up for 5 business days. I'm probably going to cancel my Prime Member.
AND THE FIRST CS DUDE ONLY OFFERED ME 5$ CREDIT!!!?!?!!!!!. THEN MAYBE THEY GAVE ME $20CR, DONT KNOW.

I wish I can give half a star rate but since thats not possible so I gave one star. Today I was supposed to get my delivery from 8 to 12 pm. I called up the delivery guy at 10.45 am and he said he will deliver it in 30 minutes. Now since I am in India , when anyone says 30 min its automatically 1 hour. So , I gave him time and waited till noon. No deliver attempt was made but the guy mentioned in the website that he attempted. BIG BIG TIME LIE. WHY ARE THEY HIRING BUNCH OF CROOKS???? WHO ARE LIARS??? THEY WITHOUT MY PERMISSION AND NOTICE CANCELLED THE ORDER AND SAID MAAM YOU ARE GETTING A REFUND. Prime Ribeye Not what I expected, very disappointed
I bought a prime' ribeye steak (at $25.00/lb ) as the butcher said it would be much better quality than what was on the shelf (which was choice). I Bought a 1 lb steak for my husband and cooked it exactly as instructed. (Sear it and then 3-4 minutes per side) but this was a very disappointing steak.
The meat was tough and chewy and not at all better than the "choice" ribeye I buy from Trader Joe's.
It was a total waste of money and not quality in taste or texture.
I will not trust the butcher's suggestion again.

I’ve ordered twice. Both times, the produce was bad (slimy asparagus and rotten berries) and all frozen items (frozen fruit and ice cream) were thawed.
This service shouldn't exist.
I don't leave a lot of negative reviews anywhere, and don't leave a lot of reviews in general.
But I have to warn people about how useless Amazon Fresh is. I've used them about 10 times over the past 6 months. The first few deliveries went great. ANd they got consistently and progressively worse after that.

Let me provide detail from only my own experience:
1.) No availability.
Only one or 2 delivery spots will be available 3 days in advance. Maybe 50% of the time there are ZERO slots available 3 days in advance. In that case it is impossible to schedule a delivery
2.) Consistently missing items
3.) Consistently getting someone else's items
4.) Basic items out of stock.
I mean basic, and I mean always. Distilled water, an onion, maple syrup, broccoli, salt etc. There are always at least 5 basic items on any order that I'll have to shop for separately
5.) Fundamentally unreliable.
Sometimes your delivery (that you ordered 4 days in advance) just never shows up, with no explanation.
6.) Delivered pork chops that were 3 MONTHS EXPIRED. I only noticed when I opened them and was hit with the smell.
7.) Moldy, rotten produce
The consistent bad quality would be inexcusable, even if I was the only person experiencing it. Each of the things I've listed has been confirmed by other customers across the internet as well.
Summary, TL;DR:
Do not use Amazon Fresh. This isn't even an issue of quality at this level of failure - it fundamentally can't provide the service it claims.
Order Cancelled by Fresh After 4 Hour Wait
I placed a Fresh order two days ago and was only able to get a delivery slot today for between 1 and 3 pm. My order was not delivered by 3 pm. I spoke with a number of representatives as it kept getting later and later and the order was not out for delivery. I finally spoke with a Fresh supervisor in the US who said my delivery person could not deliver the order and it should have been automatically rescheduled for another delivery person, but it wasn't. He said he would ask for another person to deliver it. Instead of that happening at 5 pm I got a an email from Amazon that the order had been cancelled and that I could call to reschedule it. When I did call they had no delivery times for today and none for tomorrow. This was a total wasted day and now I have no food. I'm very unhappy with the way Fresh handled this situaton.
