On the 12/03/25 I purchased a TV but was unhappy with the picture quality so it was picked up by UPS as arranged by Amazon they received it back on 18/03/25 and I was sent a progress tracking graph informing me that I would be getting a refund on 25/03/25 but after calling their customer service I was told that I wont receive my refund until 17/04/25 I spend thousands of pounds annually with Amazon but I have a bad feeling about getting my refund for 349.99 I hope that I dont have to resort to the small claims court to get my money back.

Amazon Customer Service is no longer working

I returned the pet hoover that the seller claimed on the Amazon website was 'Ultra quiet' while it was as loud as my home hooover and first Amazon requested the Royal Mail not to deliver the item to them !!!! and then despite the fact that it was at last delivered there has been no information about it on my Amazon account and no refund. The Customer Service link on the Amazon website does not work and the email sent to cs-reply at amazon.co.uk came back with reply that Amazon no longer replys to this email so there is no way to contact Amazon anymore!!! I believe it is against law and will take the matter further.

AMAZON UK - The Experience Left Me Flabbergasted

I have had an account with Amazon for years - joining and cancelling prime membership periodically. I placed an order 24 March 2025. Three of the four items arrived on 25 March. One item went from 'out for delivery' to 'delivery before 1 April'. I was horrified that Amazon staff seem to have more flexibility in allocating my own money on my account.

I paid for my order and then went back and left a £10 minimum 'top up' on my gift card balance to pay for my prime membership (due after my 7 day trial) and I removed my credit card (as I normally do) - someone in Amazon removed the £10. So now my prime account states 'insufficient funds' and I must update my payment method. I cannot get a refund for the missing item until 48 hours has past, and I cannot cancel the order for the missing item to opt out of the attempt to shaft me.

modern fraud

constant problems in working with this organization. there is no way to contact technical support. often problems with delivery. very complicated process of returning or replacing an order. it is clearly visible that this was done specifically so that the client simply could not figure out the return and left everything as is. I highly do not recommend

Overpriced!

I bought multiple items with them. I thought I had a good deal. Ads caught up with me and I saw other website offering the same products for half the price. The products in this website is obviously overpriced!

Faulty Product and Unresponsive Service

I have been trying to contact Amazon regarding a blender that burst during use, striking my face (faintly so like narrowly missing) and causing a cut on my finger. I filed an A–Z claim for this dangerous incident but have received no assistance or update. This experience has left me deeply disappointed in Amazon’s customer service and overall accountability. I expected prompt action, given the severity of the situation, and it’s frustrating that my concerns have been ignored. I hope Amazon improves their response to such critical safety issues in the future.

Awful service - standards have plummeted

1. Email said goods would arrive on date A. Goods arrived on date B (earlier). Not helpful because no-one at home to receive the goods.
2. Goods could only be delivered with an OTP so no-one can receive goods if not at home themselves. Amazon customer services could not say how many attempts are made to deliver. Useless.
3. Goods arrived done up with sellotape - clearly returns.
4. Inside the box goods were missing.
5. Called customer services - could not understand what was being said because the English was so poor. This isn't being racist - it is being practical.

Amazon has seriously dropped its standards. Appalling now. Avoid - not worth the effort of returning goods all the time.

Terrible Customer Service

Had my Amazon account hacked. Someone ordered a steamer for £164.99 on my account. Part of this was taken from my Amazon gift card. My bank reimbursed me in 24 hours. Amazon were absolutely useless! I had to keep contacting them to get my refund. I'd receive an email asking me to contact them; when I did, they had no idea what I was talking about! And They didn't even stop the delivery! I even received a call from the delivery driver stating that he was leaving the steamer behind a bin at a property in Wigan! I will use my gift card and then close my account.

They are careless and not able to find solutions

If I could score -13 I would. A third party item was lost. In the parcel there is a feeder for my dog with a timer, that is NECESSARY as tomorrow we are going to fly overseas. They totally robotically and only making sure their quality check of the call was passed positively proposed me as resolution of a refund. The item was bought in the 4th and I followed all their instructions to collect it. The item was never delivered and it probably lost. I am now facing the anxiety to look for a feeder. I raised a complaint and they said there nothing they could do but the offered me 10£ goodwill gesture. Like if I was looking out for money. Instead of really looking for a solution. I never felt so humiliated in my life. the manager Rajan ( the “higher” managerial figure I could talk to) was the one who thought that 10£ would have made my dog flying with no food better. VILE

Amazon Locker out of action.

Our local Amazon Locker situated inside the Co-op store has now been out of action for six days. I simply can't access the goods I have bought and paid for, but worse still I have had no communication whatsoever from Amazon regarding the issue. You'd think that in this day and age these lockers could fixed super quick. Extremely disappointed with Amazon and this episode will make me reconsider using these lockers again.

No surprise they have such a low rating…

No surprise they have such a low rating score. Keep dumping deliveries outside various parts of my house, which has open access to the road and they are now making out that I am responsible for parcels going missing. Absolute joke of a company that looks to blame customers for their failings, all the whole racking up money and withholding refunds.

Fraudsters

Amazon closing my account because I made a formal complaint about being charged almost £200 for an item that was never delivered. I have now reported this matter to the police. It's absolutely shameful.

Boycott Amazon.

Made an order on eBay and it was delivered by Amazon. But left in a very insecure area where people passing by on the street could easily see it. I live in a homeless block of flats and there are all types of people living and visiting so if it wasn't by chance I had to go out, there would be a very good chance I would have lost my parcel to a thief.
I went to the Amazon website to make a complaint, but I need to sign up with them first. That will never happen.
Very greedy selfish and customer unfriendly company. Looking forward to the day it goes under.

Non delivery

Ordered 3 items, one of which needed a signature. 2 of us were sitting here waiting for the delivery when an e mail was received saying they had attempted delivery but there was nobody available. This is completely untrue and not the first time this has happened.
