Lost my trust on Amazon.sg

Lately, I purchased an item off of Amazon.sg and found the product was mis-advertised, probably intentionally. When I got the product and noticed the quantity was wrong, I tried to negotiate for a partial refund several times with the seller, but all of them were declined. Amazon also rejected my honest review, citing that the comment was more on the seller than the product. Of course! I'd like to warn other customers about a dishonest and hassle-prone seller.

I have been an amazon prime member for nearly 10 years

I have been an amazon prime member for years, only to witness that the customer service deteriorating with years, especially in Singapore. You order something and it is not delivered. God knows where the customer service staff are working from, India, Philippines, etc. They can't deliver, they do apologize and they do give you a refund, but this has been more and more happening. It is frustrating and sad that the one company that was doing a good job, is becoming just as bad as the other on-line platforms. Can you believe that they couldn't accomplish the Amazon Fresh (i.e. grocery and meat, etc.) delivery because the driver couldn't find the address? the same address to which I have received many deliveries. Instead, nowhere to complain and the give you your refund, but am I supposed to be happy that they messed up my planning because they are uncapable to delivery in a city country that every address is easy to find??? Amazon has outdone itself, in not a good way. I am really annoyed and unhappy.

Amazon.sg should be closed as they use unauthorised sellers in foreign countries, this time India. Change .sg to whatever they like, and don't mislead ppl that the goods could be registered for guarantee.

Super Late Delivery with courier guy pounding on your door.

After 10 o'clock at night, the courier pounded on my door like a loan shark awaking everyone up in the family.

Send an online chat complaint to Amazon.sg's, Arjun, who works in customer service. He showed initial patience, then abruptly ended the discussion when I asked for feedback link on the courier's service.

There are undoubtedly superior alternatives, and I will never use Amazon.sg again.

Horrendous experience overall.

Will not recommend Amazon.sg to anyone.

Never sign up to become their delivery partner. Many scam promotions on using Amazon vouchers to complete bulk deliveries but have yet to receive them. They will keep using bots to reply to your email, saying they will check but don't expect any reply.
Nothing much to do about it since Singapore employment law does not protect gig workers from unethical corporations.
Never trusted Amazon again since.

BAD CS Service

I have made several request to their CS for my return parcel to be pick up on different occassion and always not successful. When I feedback my concern to their CS and they can only propose recreate return label for next pick up only. This has been ongoing for weeks, time wasted and return label recreated and still no pick up sevice show up. So what is the point of recreating return label repeatedly when the CS team simply refuse to work with the carrier service to arrange pick up. Sometime i wonder are they really doing their job to communicate with their vendor or they just simply shunning customer off by giving excuses.

SCAMAZON - APPLE WATCH STOLEN

Ordered an Apple watch series 7 from Amazon's Authorised Apple Store. Received a damaged watch. Immediately returned the watch, and was waiting for my refund. I receive a message from Amazon that there is a serial number mismatch on the watch I returned so they are discarding it. And if I need my refund, I should return the "original watch".
They are scamming me of a $600 APPLE WATCH. PATHETIC.

If i can dun give any star, i will. I order an item from USA since 1st quarter of this year 2022, till now month of june 2022, i have not received it yet. Requested to cancel and refund is also rejected. Reason from amazon is that parcel is with the delivery company. When try to connect despatch company, its is in vain, they dun have the tracking number. That is why i hesitate to purchase anything anymore with amazon at all.utterly disappointed!

Do not expect Amazon professionalism with Amazon Singapore

I used Amazon Singapore to buy a gift. When I placed the order, the system asked for delivery options and I chose weekday delivery to an office address. They promptly ignored it and scheduled a weekend delivery. I contacted amazon Singapore customer service and was told that their system ignores this part of the information. They will instead contact the delivery company and update me. No updates. Received an automated message that the weekend delivery failed. Contacted amazon Singapore customer service the second time and was reassured that they will deliver on a weekday and I will be updated. No updates. Received an automated message that delivery was attempted during weekday but failed and I was asked for an alternate address. I gave an alternate address. No updates. I contacted Amazon Singapore customer service a third time. The customer service cancelled the order and reordered for me with the alternate address. Somehow Amazon Singapore managed to deliver the order twice and the options I am given are 1) 24 hour window for someone from amazon to pick up the order. 2) return one of the orders to post office 3) Pay twice as much. Based on the level of incompetence I am not sure if they can handle 1 or 2. I wanted to share my experience with others so people know that Amazon Singapore is not Amazon; do not expect the same professionalism. Btw this review was removed by Amazon Singapore from their website because it failed some guideline which they failed to specify.

Suggest avoid using Amazon SG to order on Amazon International

I would recommended not ordering anything from Amazon SG which is supplied and shipped from Amazon US. The Amazon SG Customer Service have no ability to do anything on an amazon US orders which have issues. All polite and happy to tell you they will pass on your feedback but cant escalate or contact the appropriate group to find out what's gone wrong. I asked the question. So Amazon SG cant even chat to Amazon US ???

Unfortunately none, as the concern is on the fulfillment center directly. We don't have the details as well.

All they recommend is to wait a few days after last delivery date expires (4 weeks after order). If no update them to cancel the order and re-order it.

So the Amazon SG sales pitch of being able to access Amazon International ............. dont expect any help from Amazon SG. Truth is if ordered on Amazon.com I have access to someone who would be able to check status.

They deserve a -5*!

They deserve a -5*!! Delivery- just throw outside my house, no sms/call/knock before or after! Return- they say wait 2 working dys for courier to contact me for pickup date. I waited 4 working dys, contacted customer service. Instead of arranging next 3 days pickup for me, they cancelled my return request!! My printer is spoilt, i gotta travel to reprint label, wait another week!! Just for someone to pickup my item! Guess they make it hell for customer to return lol. Terrible service!! Ohh, no service at all

Amazon Free Shipping is not really Free.

Amazon sg, received my payment but does not wish to assist.

Sharing this about Amazon sg so that we are aware of their push-the-buck policy. Amazon sg charged me for shipping (supposedly FOC) and when I requested for clarification, they pushed responsibility away from themselves, and did not refund even after I showed them their own Amazon bill which shows the extra charges billed to me for shipping.

This is what Amazon sg says "I have verified the screenshots you have shared with us and understand that you are looking into the .com order 114-4347582-1738604. When our customers place global store orders through amazon.sg, it creates a shadow order in amazon.com (with prices displayed in USD) however for all invoicing purposes, it is the amazon.sg order that we refer to. Amazon.com operates independently from amazon.sg." UnQuote.

So I feel that this Amazon Prime membership 'free shipping above $60', is misleading as the charges for USA shipping has already been added to the selling prices. First time I am asking for help from Amazon sg, and I am really disappointed with their Customer Service or should I say, an utter lack of it.

stay away from these sites there are full of evil sellers. i bought a earphone $15 which they only buy $3..the mic and the sound sucks. i wanted a refund but they said they only allow 15%..this is not even about money but how these ppl treated customers as? they treat us like morons thinking we don’t know the cost of the item..end of the day amazon side the sellers and not buyers? totally lost trust won’t buy again!!! guys buy at ur own risk cheap stuff selling expensive end up push all the fault to u!!

Lousy delivery/return pick up service by Amazon's delivery partner spoils the whole experience of shopping at Amazon SG

Despite countless feedback to Amazon Singapore about their delivery partner, ECMS, Amazon Sg doesn't seem to take the feedback seriously. One customer service officer even shared with me that he has heard similar complaints from others. Amazon SG persists in using the same delivery agent which seems to have an amazing ability to screw up delivery/pick up service for returns nine out of 10 times. The screw ups waste a lot of the customer's time as I have to check with Amazon SG on the status, wait, tell them the story and wait.. ECMS leaves people hanging as well when it comes to deliveries and pick ups. They don't have their own fleet here so they subcontract these jobs to another agent which is also incompetent and unreliable. Every time i shop at Amazon SG and find out that ECMS is handling the logistics, I brace myself for delays, disappointments and wasting a lot of time. And they usually don't disappoint in this respect. They always screw up. Well done, ECMS. I wonder why Amazon doesn't change agent.

If Amazon takes customer feedback more seriously, they should have changed agent by now. I think they don't.

The screwups by ECMS negate the shopping experience with Amazon..
