Amzonflex-flex support the worst customer service ever...they doesn't care about drivers at alll....BE CLEVER AND AVOID THIS COMPANY TO LET YOURSELF TRICKED
This company was created only for its own benefit..it is not at all interested in employees especially delivery drivers from Amazon flex .... I tried to do things in the most correct way respecting the rules of Amazon by the book ... at the end during the day all the driver was guilty ... they have the worst customer support ever ... the worst .... when you send mail to amazon-flex support most of the time an automatic answer is generated ... when someone answers you, the topic is completely different from your problem ... in terms of earnings, you have to do a lot of miles to stay with something at the end of the day ... I started in September 2020 ... since then and until June 2021 I changed the clutch and did a full service to the car .. I have a little more and I have to do service again
Working as a delivery partner
Working as a delivery partner. I am disgusted at the poor quality of staff amazon hire to work as "driver support"
Guys like "Ishmael" will deliberately hang up the call in the middle of a situation.
Very rude. If you do not like your job. Find another one. Don't be sad at this one. And then be rude to others.
Amazon need to really stop hiring racist people too. You can tell when someone doesn't want to help you the moment you say your ethnic name.
Embarrassing behaviour from amazon employees.
Beware working for Amazon Flex…
Beware working for Amazon Flex as you never know when you will be kicked out of it.
On the 15/06/2021 I had a delivery to a customer that requires to verify photo ID as it is a requirement by Amazon Flex in their so called Policy.
Unfortunately the customer was out from prison recently and has got NO valid photo ID except for prison ID.
He was angry and ripped off the box and threw at me as Amazon belongs to me.
I was doing my job and I called the Amazon driver support to get help but i think it was my mistake calling the cowboys answering our phone calls. As they person answered the phone got NO clue what action that I should take but I had to tell him what’s best to at that point and the situation I faced.
After next day my account is disabled without any explanation what so ever. No matter how many emails I’ve sent them they most of the time didn’t reply and other time saying my account is escalating due to policy violation.
What a joke. Did I violate the policy… NO.
I was doing my job and doing the right thing according to their policy.
Up until now since this date I’m out of work.
I guess they want criminals to work with them that’s why they listen to prison released people and kicking me off. Maybe they have given the my job to him.
So if ur thinking to work for Amazon Flex please think again…
AVOID, AVOID, AVOID
I have worked on and off for amazon in Belfast over the last five years. I was a van driver and the money was rubbish after the van rental, fual and ad blue was paid. I was a security gaurd, which was the best position so far. But even at that you would get hassled as the rules changed on a daily basis. To top it of I picked up flex to make ends meet. The money wasn't great but it did help. I picked up a block today and headed up. I was 2 minutes late... And I was turned away at the gate. All that fuel to travel up for nothing. Amazon is an disgrace of a company. Run by mini dictators that only care about there balance sheet at the end of the year. Avoid avoid avoid.
Amazon Flex does not care about their drivers!
I have been driving with Amazon Flex for a little over 6 months, and it is one of the worst companies that I have ever worked for. First, their cancelation policy is unbelievable. I got reprimanded because I had to cancel a route because I was extremely ill and could not make it, since I was going to the hospital. They stated that my standing would be affected and there was nothing I could do about it even though I had verifiable proof why I could not deliver in the block I accepted.
Second, their driver app is extremely buggy. I would arrive for my route on time and check-in but have to wait because the delivery station near where I live is slow as hell, it took them too long to get me a route and the flex app stated that I was late and could not do my route. This has happened to me twice now, again hurting my driver standing, for which was not my fault. As well, when the packages need to be delivered to a locker in a mailroom, for example at an apartment complex, the app will send you to the customer's actual apartment building and not the mailroom building. This does not allow you to complete the deliveries. When this happens, you have to call support for them to override it for you so you can complete the delivery, and you have to do this for each package. This is very inefficient.
Thirdly, and finally, the pickup instructions at certain delivery stations are unbearable. They wait for all people to get to their designated delivery routes, however, there are usually 20-25 cars picking up at one time. They make everyone get out of their cars and load up their packages at the same time. They do not let the cars that load faster than everyone else leave before everyone is loaded, slowing everyone down. This usually takes around 20-30 minutes to complete. Ergo, if you are delivering a 2.5-3 hour route, you only have 2-2.5 hours to deliver the 40+ packages to customers that are an average of 15-20 minutes away from the pickup station. And, guess what one of the stats is in your delivery rating? If you guessed, on-time delivery you would be right. They set you up to fail while delivering for the flex program.
All in all, I would not recommend anyone delivering through the Amazon Flex program for the simple fact that they do not care. I used to think that Uber and Lyft were worse, but not after this experience. And just imagine, how the regular Amazon drivers are treated? If they treat flex drivers like crap, I can only imagine how they treat their full-time drivers and warehouse employees. You would think with all of Jeff Bezos' money that Amazon would be able to design an actual functioning driver app and have policies in place that allow for driver success. As of now, they just offer up canned responses from the support team that toes the company line, which are passive aggressive that put all the blame on their drivers. You suck Amazon Flex!
Sincerely,
A concerned Driver

Amazon flex treats drivers poorly
I have worked 5 years on and off for Amazon flex. The way they treat their delivery partners is shocking. I always deliver and make sure customers get their order on prime now. A customer must of rang to state they didn’t get their order and my rating was affected. I emailed Amazon asking them to investigate me got a generic email back which was cut and pasted and didn’t answer my query. I have emailed back a few times since asking them to look into this and they ignore your emails.
Another problem is arriving in plenty of time for my block yet my deliver wasn’t ready to pick up (35 bags) in a 1.5 hour slot they wanted me to deliver. I waited 20 mins into my block and my parcels were still not ready so I left.
I am seriously considering leaving.
One of the worst companies to work for ever.
I agree with the majority of people here, amazon flex really really is terrible. They only care about their customers and not their staff. I have been doing it for 5 months and I regret it. You get paid £26 for 2 hours but in that time you are driving almost 70 miles a day so it definitely takes a toll on your car plus they don't pay you for fuel. There was an occasion that I couldn't park anywhere but found a spot and did not realise that the parking is only 5 mins. The customer had 12 parcels and she said there is no parking so it will take her 5 minutes to come to me. I went out of my to help her and it took a total of 25 minutes to grab everything and help the young lady, next day I got a ticket for this...When i contacted amazon, they said that it is my responsibility and they will not admit their fault. Well, my questions is, WHY DO YOU SEND US TO flats where you know there is no parking and to make things worse you want us to deliver 12 parcels? Also if you are 1 minute late just because the customer took his/her time to arrive, you get penalised for that. So guys, please stay away and save your money and time. This terrible company is just exploiting you.
Delivering with amazon.
Been working for amazon for 2 years only managed to get work on weekends which is ridiculous. Some rounds are good and some are really bad especially in the centre of Croydon where there are high raised flats, no PARKING! One way systems always going round and round and they expect you to finish in 3 hours with all these complications they do not adjust payments if you go over your time they literally don’t care about their staff. If I was you, if you go over your time just go take the parcels back to the depo. I received a ticket because some areas are completely private parking and residents complain and they come out to stick a ticket on your car. Amazon couldn’t care less as they should because we are delivering a good service to give them all 5 star ratings but why should we because they don’t care ! They are not reasonable or never fully answer your questions most of the time you’ll be talking to a robot.

Rubbish company don’t bother waste your time working as a flex driver all your earnings will go in to your car: wear and tear Damage and petrol get a proper full time professional job this job is a dead end job what do you exactly earn? Nothing I did it for 5 months now I deleted my account I’d rather clean toilets then do this rubbish job at least cleaners get paid more!
I agree amazon Flex on exploiting…
I agree amazon Flex on exploiting drivers and taking advantage of the situation. I am based in Birmingham and accepted a block from the Birmingham logistics branch, it was a 2 hour block and they gave me a run going to Nuneaton which was 45mins drive of 25miles to do 7 parcels which working it out would of took 2 hours 15mins minimum ad that's not taking into account any delays or diversions. After declining on these circumstances they didn't pay me even though their policy states otherwise. A bad company to work for that needs investigating.
NO NO NO
DO NOT JOIN after reading the reviews which i totally agree with except for the 5 star one which was sent by amazon themselves here is my opinion Amazon exploits people simple is that they know people need money I have done it from just before xmas to make some extra money but be careful the money you lose on fuel and extra maintenance wear and tear and plus damages that you will occur then you are working for BELOW MINIMIUM WAGE guaranteed and all the hassle you get from them for not delivering parcels or them going missing you will be tearing your hair out by the end of it they just dont have your back there are customers out there scamming as well saying that they have not recieved packages and they really have and its all your fault the overall standing that you get is a joke you just wonder who actually makes this up I am writing this review then deleting the app be aware you will not make much money it all goes back onto your car i dont know how the Amazon gets away with it hopefully the goverment attacks them with taxes.
Don’t do it
Doesn’t make any money waste of time and wast of money specially when you pay all your expenses. £6 per hours after if you lucky if there will be no any PCN change.

Terrible experience
Terrible experience, lack of slots available and even when I got slots the system would delay a lot causing me on action to start my slots later than schedule.
Good idea to do this in theory but in reality I wish I had not wasted my time with it. Stopped doing anyting with it after a 5 month struggle.

In January there was severe snow in Birmingham and ice was left on roads for days to weeks . I cancelled blocks late and missed blocks after trying best to drive to station. Amazon knew this after I emailed them to tell them . They then went onto deactivate me. They expect us to put ourselves and other road users
at risk for19pounds? . Uber last week lost in court in uk. Now Amazon should be investigated. I am also put in a claim for forcing me to
work in dangerous conditions . Penalizing workers who put their life on the line, then acting like they care.
