Slippery Amari

Amari won’t say how big their clothes sizes are supposed to be, and they don’t have a sizing chart. They sent me an XL sweater that was smaller than a size L tee shirt. Shen pressed, they can’t give a plain answer. They want me to pay freight to Turkey to return it. Why Turkey, if this is a US company like they claim?

Ordered Large cashmere cardigan

Ordered Large cashmere cardigan. $100.00.
Poly bag stated 2XL. Was reluctant to open because of their strict return policy. Contacted them about error. Told me to open and try on, because their sizes are different to our normal guidelines. Once opened, I realized NO TAGS STITCHED INTO GARMENT, with country of origin, fiber content, all in violation of US codes.
They asked for pictures, gave 50 % incentive, complete SCAM. I truly wanted to get legal help.

Return process leads to China + no refund + no follow-up

I’m sharing my experience to help others make an informed decision.

After receiving my order (wrong size and not matching the quality/appearance shown in the online photos), I requested a return in line with their stated policy. Instead of a straightforward process, I was repeatedly encouraged to accept partial refunds and discount codes rather than return the items.

When I insisted on returning them, I was instructed to ship the products back to China at my own expense.

I complied and returned the items with tracking. Tracking confirms the shipment reached China.

I was told:

“Once we have the tracking details, we’ll keep you updated…”
“Once we receive the returned item in its original condition, we’ll promptly process your refund or exchange as requested.”

After that - no response, no confirmation, and no refund, despite multiple follow-up emails.

The only way I was able to recover my money was through my credit card provider.

⚠️ Be aware:

• Products may not match the photos (size/quality)
• Returns must be shipped to China at your own cost
• You may be encouraged to accept partial refunds instead of returning
• Communication stopped completely after the return was sent

I would strongly advise caution before ordering from this company.

I ordered/send wrong size/I retuned item no credit issued

I ordered cashmer women's small. I received a men's XL.. Amari Bay siad their sizing XL is US small. I wa swimming in the swater. The quality was NOT cashmere. They asked me to give it as a Christmas gift. (Spare me!) I chose to pay to return it. They have had the return, they acknowledge they have the return, for the last three months NO CREDIT ISSUED! If someone knows their address in the US please share here. I'll check back. I want to report them to the state's attorney general. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!

I love this company

I love this company! Always hesitant to try a site from whom I never ordered, but this one turned out to be a gem.
The product is beautiful and well made.
The orders don't ship immediately, but that isn't an issue for me.
I'm about to place my third order and will definitely shop again.

Buyer beware

Buyer beware! Ameribay sent an XL rather than the order for a women's M and refused to fix the error. Instead, they variously insisted that we pay a cost of $30 to $50 to ship the product back to China, asserted that the XL really was a M, argued that the sweater was really a product for a man even though it was listed in the women's section with no guidance on sizing and proposed that we keep the product and buy another at half-price. All with a veneer of trying to help..... Their language was downright Orwellian. Don't get caught in their web.

Great experience with this company

I ordered this sweater and I have to say it is beautiful! Warm and very well made. Really really nice! I also have to say the customer service is there is great! I could not find the package initially! So I called and said I did not receive the package. They stated it was delivered and showed me a picture of where it was dropped off. The delivery driver dropped it at a door that is not commonly used and after a major snowstorm that we had here. So I did not see the white package in the snow! I emailed them and told them I found it! They were great and would have helped me out if I did not find it. All in all, a really great experience. And the sweater is beautiful and well made. Will definitely shop here again!!

Purchased a Napoli Cashmere cardigan

Purchased a Napoli Cashmere cardigan.

The quality of the so-called cashmere is below expectations. No labels inside to see what materials it is made from.

The cardigan has a very strange fit. Sleeves are rather short and the body extremely wide. Not like the tailors fit in the pictures.

Shipping took a very long time.

I approached customer service to return the item. After 7 emails, the only option is to send it to China at my cost and await their inspections before an eventual refund. This is completely unacceptable.

save your $

I ordered a "cashmere" sweater. Looked good online, nice design and price. What I got is a poorly constructed, mostly nylon I think (definitely NOT cashmere) piece of junk. No labels...not a "care label" Material label or Amrai Bay label. When I go to return it they insist that I ship back to China. Sketchy as hell and I would not buy anything from them! Instead of a return, they offered 50% off another item! Outrageous! Horrible Experience- be warned

What fantastic service

What fantastic service! I had an issue with the finishing of the item I had ordered and I sent them photos and contacted the company . They offered an immediate replacement with an apology for my inconvenience.

The product has an awful quality

The product has an awful quality; they don't send a return label. If you don't like the product, or it doesn't fit (my case), you will have to pay for shipping back to China. Like many Chinese companies, they invest in great advertising, but the product is very poor. Don't throw your money away. Moreover, it takes weeks to ship it to you.
