Worst customer experience I have ever had. Every time I email their customer service team I have a new person respond back and it’s treated as a new case. I have to re-explain the situation every time. It’s infuriating. It’s taken 3 months of communication with them and I still don’t have an answer to my question. Do not buy from this company. It is not worth the hassle.

Please avoid this company!
I have never ever experienced receiving emails from different agencies such as "Sports Direct", "Flannels", and some others, even if you purchased a product from "AMARA"!!!
Also, these customer services told me a different status of my order, some told me my order had been dispatched, but the others told me it was still in the warehouse!!
Luckily, I have successfully cancelled my order!!

After seeing the pet photo necklace online I was so excited to place an order and receive it. Unfortunately the money has been taken from my account and I have had zero communication from the company, despite multiple attempts on Facebook, Instagram and their website.
They currently have a sponsored ad running on Facebook and quite a few people in the comments are in the same situation as me. Such a shame they are taking advantage of those grieving the loss of a pet.
UPDATE: Their customer service is absolutely appalling and seem incapable of giving a definitive answer - just a standard "your order is being processed" regardless of what you ask. So worth the wait for a reply...NOT.

Purchased lovely agate ornament for gift on 1/2/24 and received next day. No invoice only Dpd messages of delivery. Liked so much so ordered myself one. Received next day but different in shape and size. I had read there could be differences but 2nd one looked so unbalanced. With no invoice number, could not access customer service online, also drop down boxes not opening. Amara do not appear to want you to contact them. Finally got through on phone and emailed pics. Offered refund if I returned at my expense. I had just wanted item exchanged for one shown in their advertising. Not a customer focussed trader, I find. Wished I could enclose photographs.

in general items they are selling are decent on a borderline of great. Should you, God forbid, need customer service to do something, you are soooo on your own. They delivered a wrong item (kilim wrong size) to me and were driving me mad for 3 months trying to convince me that the item they sent is correct because label that they put on the item over the manufacturers label read correct size...no person i communicated in customer service department has any common sense and all they are saying is 'computer says no' REAL HORROR of customer service, will report them to trading standards

Oh dear what’s happened to amara the luxury goods company!
I have ordered from here for several years for various items for various home moves. I always enjoyed receiving the items well packaged in amara branded boxes with their lovely black amara embossed tissue paper. To my surprise on my last order the order was delivered although this wasn’t the case with a photo of nothingness from Evri, I thought this was strange but the next day my parcels arrived I looked a little confused at the courier he said amara but what I was handed was two plastic bags with sports direct emblazoned on it!!! Not really the luxury brand it once was well done Fraser Group another one headed downwards!

Dreadful fraudulent company. I placed an order in December and still have not received. Tracking says it has been returned to the company/ Amara which they do not dispute however they will not refund me.
`several different agents all say different things and although buying from Amara they email you back from Sports Direct and House Of Fraser with clearly no communication as they all dispute what the other says. Criminal company . Do not order from them.

Despite having 13 emails between myself and customer services about my return that was returned to them on the 7th December (tracking and evidence provided it was delivered back to AMARA Living), I’ve not received a refund. All I’ve received is the same message saying how they are sorry I’m having difficulty and understanding how frustrating how this must be. I guess the response I will get is to contact customer services, but clearly that’s not working, hence the 13 emails.

An £800+ Order never arrived as they didn't pay the courier the correct shipping fee and I am now stuck in a customer care vortex where they refuse to refund until the equally incompetent deliver team (Evri) return the item too them, which they may have lost in the process of not delivering it to me! Will avoid in future - know that it is a sports Direct company and you get that level of service vs the high end retail that amara used to be before it was acquired!

WoW, first time ordering from Amara - order arrived the following day, Sunday delivery 🚚. Really impressed and will definitely order again. Return label included, which I like, just in case I needed to return.
Can’t find my tracking order which is annoying is there anyway I can track my parcel that I have ordered as I’ve had no emails or anything
Ordered on Sunday several items, and delivery promised by 19th (Tuesday) of all items. Received half items on Tuesday. Some items still not arrived, and delivery notification now says earliest arrival is the 27th potentially later.
Very poor. Asked for a return and full refund and refused, will have to look at going through my credit card company now.

Awful customer service. I purchased some Christmas decorations for my tree and some of the items were missing upon opening the parcel. The very same day I sent them an email with the order number and the product number and description for the missing items, now you'd think that would have been enough. But oh no...after chasing and chasing, they finally came back and asked for the information I had already sent on multiple occasions. I didn't have the order details anymore due to the delay in getting a response from them but I did provide my home address, email address and information on what was missing. many frustrating emails later they have now asked for photos of the items that I HAVE received, which are now on the Christmas tree and the reason is to 'conduct an investigation to ensure it doesn't happen again'. How can. pictures of Christmas decorations on a tree form part of an investigation process??? I have lost the will to continue communicating with them... AVOID!
In response to Amara’s response, I have provided the order number as requested along with my email address and home address many many times. Your response was to take pictures of the items I’ve received, when I asked why you said to prevent the situation happening again. Taking a picture of the items I have received doesn’t make any sense, it’s the items I haven’t received I am querying.

UPDATE: I received the jewelry box yesterday. I would like to thank Emma for her followup and actions to make this right. The jewelry box is exactly as I ordered. Thank you Emma. Buyer beware, I ordered a jewelry box on Oct 12, the money was taken from my bank account on Oct 13. It’s Nov 27th and I still do not have the product. Supposedly it was delivered to Norwalk, CT and signed for by me on Nov 24. The issue is I ordered the product to be delivered to my home in Ridgefield CT and was out of state on Nov 24 so there is no way I could have signed for the merchandise. The company has responded to emails but is unable to deliver the product to me in a timely manner. They ship from Berlin Germany and based on my experience do not seem to have a handle on delivering to the United States

Like other October 2023 reviewers my order went astray. Paid for next day delivery. Had an email order had processed. Then it did not progress beyond taking the funds out of my account. Had to telephone Customer Service today to be told it may or may not be lost may or may not have been loaded on to a wagon may or may not have been lost on the M3. May or may not have never left our store. Will be several days to may or may not find it. So I cancelled the order - they cannot re-order until they have found or not found the original order ! I now have to wait 5 working days for my card to be refunded. NEVER AGAIN.

Amara issued a gift voucher when I returned a damaged item. They have since cancelled my account and say they have no record of my voucher. The gift voucher was for $6000. Numerous emails, phone calls and messages have failed. Do not trust Amara.
