I haven't had problems with this service yet. Servers are fast and even free accounts have great features. The only issue I would mention is that there is no built-in UI for uploading files, there is really only SFTP/FTP. Since it's shared hosting, you'd think the security would be pretty bad, but alwaysdata has unusually strong security for cheap shared hosting.

Their environment is super cool. even the free plans.

I searched everywhere that gives free hosting with python, node.js, php, mysql. Only found this. Hidden gem actually. Nothing to worry. Fast, reliable, and stable.

The amount of services you get for free are incredible compared to other companies offerings. You get Python, Node.js, Perl, SSH, FTP, and more all just for free! Its just that you get only one gigabyte of storage but it rounds things out well, I would recommend this to a friend.

I've been hosting websites and Python code with Alwaysdata since 2010. Their service is phenomenal. You get proper ssh access, even on the free plan. Everything runs very smoothly. The support team is super responsive (most of the time within minutes). There is no hosting company that comes even close.

It has a generous free tier, and the amount of options and resources they have is amazing. The documentation is great as well.

The free plan is simply great. There isn't any watermark on any place (except the URL, but you can always replace it by your own one). The UI is very easy to use, and the paid plans are incredibily cheap compared to other hosting providers.

Some people complain about the free plan only offering 100 MB of storage but honestly, for a free plan that does not contain any watermark is too good.

I recommend it.

It's a great service, mixing the capabilities of traditional hosting and a vps (where you are more in control of your develops through ssh, git, support of multiple languages and technologies, etc...)

Very flexible and prices affordable

I've been a customer for more than 5 years now, and they've proven worth their salt every day!
Even on a free or cheap plan you get full SSH access, free SSL, unlimited emails, all the databases and languages you can think of, and even installers for self-hostable software (CMS, CRM, RSS…).
When their self-help site didn't answer my questions, I've always had immediate and accurate responses from support, at any time of the day.
So hands down the best and most cost-competitive hosting provider you can find.

I had a very good experience with this host. They are straightforward and helpful. If you need a nice host, there it is. The reason I am switching is that I need to run some application I can't host on alwaysdata. This might very well be due to my ineptitude. I will find out shortly at the new host.

I am using the free hosting service from alwaysdata; because it has a 100MB limit, so only small projects can run on this hosting!

I receive around 100 requests per day, but yesterday alwaysdata notified me that I have exceeded the allowed number of requests, which violates their policy!
I can easily calculate 100*30 = 3000 requests per month, so to use it legally, the limit could be set at 1000 or 1500 per month!

If you want to limit it to this extent, then set it fixed, instead of emailing websites with only about 50-100 request/day!

I won't beg you for 'please, allow me to use 100/day,' you can close my account! Thank you!

Update: OK, you might be right. I do use auto-fetch every 15 seconds, and the response is an empty response, status code 204 (a 204 response is a response with no content); and on my main server, they have some issue where the old containers aren't stopped, so every deployment adds 4req/minute!

The figure of 70,000 you mentioned might be accurate, but 95% of them are responses with status code 204. If you count a 204 response as a request, then I'll bump it up to 3 stars for you!

I've been a client of Always Data for more than 10 years, both professionally and as an individual. Before them, I used many other hosting providers and none has ever been as efficient and reliable as they are.
Sure, they are not the cheapest (nor the most expensive), but you get far more than what you invest.
The hosting interface is simple and yet offers everything you need, and their support is really quick to answer (usually a couple of minutes) with a real answer and not the bogus "we'll come back to you"

Two years using alwaysdata and so far is one of the best free hosting websites out there. In the near future I plan to get a paid plain
