I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was extremely frustrating and exhausting.
I waited weeks for my order to arrive, and when it finally came, some of the items sent were incorrect. I initiated a return immediately and shipped the items back the next day using the prepaid USPS return label provided through Alura’s return system.
USPS confirmed the package was accepted and delivered to their warehouse. I returned multiple items together in one package, including several thicker leggings and shorts.
After weeks of back-and-forth emails, Alura claimed they only received one pair of leggings inside the package. They refunded only part of the return, charged a restocking fee, and refused to refund the remaining balance to the original payment method, offering store credit instead.
From the customer side, there is no way to verify what happens after a package is delivered to their warehouse, yet the customer is expected to absorb the loss if there is an alleged warehouse discrepancy.
The most disappointing part was the amount of time spent trying to resolve this professionally through customer service with no meaningful resolution.
