Brilliant fast and efficient service. We hired a nine seater mini bus and it was very comfortable and nice to drive. The team was friendly and helpful. Would strongly recommend.

The staff were nice. It took a long time to pick up and drop off the vehicle due to the limited number of staff and long distance to the airport. The car had only 3/8 tank of gas. The first day, the tire pressure light went on. All four tires were at 1.7 bar pressure. We had to inflate them all to 2.6 bar. Did no one check this before we picked up the car? The second day, the car would not start, saying that the key was not detected. We finally figured out that the battery in the remote was dead. Fortunately this happened at our house and we had both a small screwdriver to open the remote and we had a spare battery in the house. If this had happened anywhere else, we would have been stranded for a long time. On the night before we returned the car, the engine fault warning displayed. When driving 90 minutes back to drop off the car, it had very little acceleration - dangerously little for highway driving. So overall, we were not happy with this experience and will not rent from them again.

Thanks to Noah and Aitor at the Dénia office my experience was excellent. Both are professional, reliable, and quick, and most importantly, they truly care about making sure everything goes smoothly. In my case, Noah personally made sure I received the exact car I had booked — which gave me great peace of mind and shows his strong commitment to the customer. A genuine 5-star service in every way.

proper comedians these chumps, car returned with no damage, full tank, was parked under trees at El Paso Hotel for 5 nights, used the car to drive to and from the hotel only

They claim that dirt and dust from the trees is paint and are refusing to return deposit

This company are thieves and they will steal money from you after you drop off the car with no reason and make up lies! They do it all the time to make up lies so they can steal money from your card after dropping the car off !!! Be very aware

I booked car hire with Alquicoche and I would highly recommend them....zero drama and a very fair price. I arrived to Malaga Airport and was collected by a lovely man who was originally from Argentina. I was collected beside the train station in the Airport. The communication was great and sent via WhatsApp. I collected the car about 5 min drive away. I ordered a 7 seater Peugeot 5008 but I got a 9 seated Opel Vivaro. It was a brand-new van. I didn't mind as there was plenty of space in it with all the mod cons etc. I had my own excess car insurance, and they never pushed for me to get their insurance like other car rental companies. I had to leave a deposit of €500 which was cancelled once the car arrived back in one piece. I will be using Alquicoche for any future car hire requirements in Malaga airport. I would recommend them

when we arrived , the man from alquicoche was very aggressive en send me out . we waited 1 hour whit 3 little children in the sun. then was the car we rented not starting . so we must wait for another car. new contract . but i could not sign for it because we were send out . when i was Comming in to receive the car he called i call the police . so we waited outside . after more than 1 hour we had an car , never go to this renting .

I rented a car from Alquicoche in Valencia and had a very good experience. The staff was friendly and helpful. The car was clean and worked well. The pickup and return were fast and easy. I also liked that there were no hidden fees. I recommend Alquicoche to anyone visiting Valencia.

Perfect from beginning to end, very serviceminded employee named Aitor at Denia location.
I have rented many cars all over Europe, with many different companies, I have never met an employee so serviceminded and friendly as Aitor.
Communication was perfect under the pickup, he spoke like fluent English, and he actually excused the bad weather, Asia was raining that day.

Drop off was done during,closing times, I received a confirmation as soon as the officer opened, saying the car was okay, and a copy af my deposit annulment.

Will most certainly use that company again.

I hired a car through 'Expedia' and i was greeted with a message upon arrival at the airport that alquicoche would take over my booking and wait for me
Literrally bad communication from the start
They dont inform you where they are
You have to keep calling on whatsapp to get hold of someone then wait for a chauffeur 10min to take you 10min away from the airport so you cant walk to Alquicoche Warehouse lost in the middle of the field behind the motorway..
The staff can hardly speak Spanish and it feels like they don't tell you everything regarding the booking.

The worse is i paid a damage waiver and insurance, should something happen and it turns out that during my trip, i got back to my car parked downstairs on the last day and noticed a tiny scratch on the bumper.
They kept £140 from my deposit without sending me any justification
I chased them multiple times and they seem to be only operating via Whatsapp

STAY AWAY FROM THEM AND GO FOR POPULAR AND WORLDWIDE WELL KNOWN RENTAL CAR COMPANIES

They advertise on DiscoverCars and on their own website with cars they don’t even have.
They call a Jeep Compass as similar to a Peugeot 3008. Only similarity is size. That’s it.
Unfortunately this is an industry standard to advertise quality and giving you least value for your money.
(Base model of the Jeep was €10.000 cheaper so understand why they choose that car)

The car doesn’t even have proximity sensors for reverse and parking. First rental car I had last 10 years without this basic safety feature.

The ride in this car is rough and uncomfortable. Trying to drive in highway speed and adjusting temperature is not easy as you are bouncing up and down.
When pointing out this I was presented with an upgrade alternative (Mazda CX-30) for an additional 495. (14 days).

Did also point out that “change oil” was on. Was then told that in my contract it said that I had to get the car controlled at their office if driving more than 2000 km. Couldn’t find that info, but fine.
Didn’t have to do it anyway as it was “a newer car”
The car I was given had 50.000 km and was 2 years old.

As the car has a firmware error you need to adjust the brightness of the infotainment screen in a menu on the screen. (Change daylight brightness down as nighttime brightness was grayed out)

Instrumental cluster on the other hand was not possible to dim down and was like a flashlight in your face driving at night. Not possible to adjust with dimming button on left side of steering wheel or in the menu. Can’t believe nobody had mentioned this before as this was a 2 year old car…

Upon returning the car it was checked by the guy driving us to the airport and no damage was found.
Car was left outside the gates at their office in a rural area.

I commented the problem with brightness and also that this car was extremely uncomfortable. I asked about peugeot and was told they don’t even have that on this location…

After returning home I received a mail with confirmation of return of the car. Looking at the pdf documents I saw that they charged me €500 for damage. I asked for photos they took prior to rental and of the damage. Was told it was a damage to the windshield but no photos sent.
Luckily we saw the damage from the inside before driving of with the car and took a photo. As I had photo of this and also meta data with time and location they said they will return my money. Easy money lost.

I would highly recommend to take photos of the entire car and focus specifically on all sort of damage, scratches etc. Don’t forget about glas, roof, interior, tires and rims.
Some companies are more prone to make you pay for damage that you didn’t even cause. As our damage was in an area hidden from the driver position it would be very easily missed by driver.

Would probably not use this company again.

I had a problem because my flight departed earlier. The employee helped me to find a solution. Easy to reach them by phone.
