PUBLIC WARNING: FRAUD & CRIMINAL ACTIVITY
I lost more than US$250,000 after investing with Flavio and his mother, Maria, the owners of this business. The consequences were devastating: I had to sell my businesses and my home to survive. I am sharing my experience because I do not want anyone else to suffer the same financial destruction.
I was deliberately targeted and deceived as they knew I was an investor. My allegations concern serious criminal fraud and theft, not merely poor service or a disappointing investment.
DO NOT LET CHARM OR RELIGIOUS APPEARANCES LURE YOU IN
In my experience, their charm and presentation of themselves as deeply religious helped lure me into trusting them with my money. They appeared sincere and had me fooled to believe they had integrity. Do not allow personal charm, religious assurances or a polished business image to replace independent verification.
I created their business website. Flavio subsequently amended it to portray a professional operation with numerous employees and formal offices in a sought-after location. This is a false presentation and is misleading. The “business” operates from their apartment in Belo Horizonte, not the operation depicted online.
I also paid for an apartment in the United States but was never provided with the deed documentation. These funds as well as any funds they receive from clients are used to support a lavish lifestyle of grandeur and most clients never obtain payment should they make any claims towards a secured loss.
THE DAMAGE GOES FAR BEYOND MONEY
According to the police information provided to me, I am not the only victim. I understand that others have also suffered devastating losses, including losing everything financially. Homes, businesses and livelihoods are at stake.
My understanding is that allegations of fraud and theft involving these individuals are being investigated in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, and Aventura, Florida, and that criminal attorneys in Brazil are pursuing various matters of fraud against these two.
Their conduct also unfairly damages the reputation of honest Brazilian people and businesses. They give the impression that the entire Brazilian population are corrupt and fraudulent. Especially to foreigners, like me. This is unfair as the responsibility belongs to the individuals involved, not to an entire nationality. Brazil and its people should not be judged by the alleged actions of these individuals.
