Absolutely wonderful move thanks to these guys. They packed up the property carefully without rushing and returned the next day to load up and move contents from a 1bed Colindale flat to a 3bed house in Welwyn Garden City. They went above and beyond for me remaining calm when a leak was discovered in my flat. You can clearly see they’re very experienced at great moves and genuinely want you to have a good experience. If you’re after some peace of mind through your house move, I’d recommend opting for Allen and Young for your new chapter.

I had a great experience with Kelvin and his team (Andy and Brandon) who ensured my move went seamlessly. The guys were lovely and worked very hard carrying all my boxes and furniture down two flights of stairs from my top floor flat. Everything was safely delivered to my new home and taken to the correct room. They also dismantled and reassembled my bed and wardrobe without any issues. A competitive and accurate quote with no hidden costs. I would highly recommend Kelvin and his team!

By the time the move commences. I’m usually the most fragile heavy thing that needs moving.

The team arrive and within an hour you feel like you have been wrapped in bubble wrap and placed in easily accessible open box with a fragile sticker on it. Which is exactly where you want to be when moving.

At not one point did we feel the heaviness of the move despite various challenges kelvin and the team faced.

We recently used Allen and Young Removals for our move from Hendon to St Albans, and I cannot recommend them enough. We opted for a two-day service with packing on the first day and the move on the second, which made the entire process incredibly relaxed.
The team was professional, friendly, and treated our belongings with the utmost respect. The packing was thorough and everything arrived safely. It honestly felt like a care-free experience, which is rare for moving houses. If you want a smooth, professional move, go with Allen and Young.

At short notice, Kelvin provided us with his guys who were considerate, helpful and hard working to move furniture in advance of room redecoration and take away unwanted items. A major headache wiped away in a morning!

Kelvin and his team did a fabulous job and were hard working, friendly and extremely efficient. Faced with some difficult circumstances, they continued to be professional throughout the day and stayed late, with no fuss, to make sure the job was done in one day.

It was great to watch this fantastic team carefully pack up 40 years of accumulated stuff and take it to our new (smaller) house. It was a tricky operation as we decided to do storage in a room of the house and our garage but they rose to the challenge and managed to arrange our things like a game of Tetris. Everything was done with great care and good humour and over the three days we got to know these lovely people - Andy, Brandon, Joe, Cody, Paul (King of the kitchen), Louis and of course Kelvin. Thank you so much for making (what could have been a very stressful experience) very manageable and enjoyable! Highly recommended.

We are absolutely delighted that we found Allen & Young to move some of my mum's furniture from London up to the northwest. Kelvin was efficient, courteous, helpful and professional from our first conversation. He was able to assess our needs from simply talking them through. There was no unnecessary communication or harassment, simply an agreement with follow up confirmation. This was such a relief after the stress we had experienced from other possible providers.

On the day, Kelvin and Andy turned up punctually and showed consummate knowledge and care in the way they handled all the furniture. They gave us an expected time of arrival and confirmed a more exact time when they getting near. My daughter, who received them at our house, reported that the men were lovely. They carefully sorted and placed things where asked, making the chairs look as though they had always belonged and ensuring items stowed in the hall and garage were treated just as carefully to maintain easy access for us when we returned home. Throughout the process, they were gentle, polite, supportive and understanding. We found them trustworthy in every respect. We would recommend them very highly indeed.

I found Allen & Young in the "Which?" Trusted Trader scheme, very positive reviews thoroughly deserved! They did a brilliant job for my complex removal needs. Friendly, helpful, efficient, hardworking, experienced, great value for money. A high quality service which I recommend to anyone. Packing up an entire house is a very stressful time - they made it as easy and straightforward as possible, taking all the stress out of it. They are so good!!!!

Kelvin and his staff packed all of our contents with great skill, care and efficiency.
On the following day, they came and moved 83 boxes plus several garment boxes and all the furniture, beds, paintings etc.
Everything was done with care and nothing was too much trouble.

We were moving from London to Bournemouth and chose Allen & Young for our packing and removals because of the competitive quote and excellent Google reviews. We are delighted that we chose them as they completely surpassed our expectations. Kelvin took away furniture on the first day for disposal and Andy, the team leader, Brandon, Louis and Cody all worked like a well oiled machine for two days, packing everything with care and attention and loading the vans. The following day we all drove to Bournemouth and again the lads put all the heavy furniture in place exactly how we wanted it, nothing was too much trouble for them. Andy was brilliant, in that we never had to repeat an instruction and the entire team were pleasant, jovial, thoughtful and extremely helpful. We thought that the actual move would be the most stressful bit but Kelvin, Andy and the team were so brilliant that we actually relaxed and enjoyed the three days of the move. I would recommend this team to friends and family in a heartbeat! Bravo guys and thanks again!

Move from Uxbridge to Cardiff. Over 2 days October 2024. Total cost of packing, packing materials, and the move carried out by 5 members of the team over 2 days. £3276.59. I cannot praise Kelvin and his team enough for helping us through the extreme stress that moving house always seems to put you under. We certainly feel that we were very lucky in being able to employ the services of Kelvin, Andy, Joe and the 2 lads for our long move to South Wales. We had a few works of art to move, fragile ornaments and several items consisting of glass shelving so we required a removal company that would be careful, respectful and knowledgeable of packaging and safe transit of our goods and most certainly Allen & Young were excellent and completely faultless in carrying out this task. As agreed, Andy, Joe and the 2 lads turned up on time the day before the move with all the materials needed and proceeded to carefully pack all the items that we required to take with us, mark the contents on the boxes, and put them on the van. All the lads were friendly and cheerful. Nothing was too much trouble for them even though a 10 hr day must've been tough they worked tirelessly until every item was on the van. The following morning two vans headed for Cardiff and 5 cheery faces greeted us in our new home. Each item was placed in it's required room, not an easy task when moving from one 3 story house to another. A 1st class job from a 1st class company. I truly doubt there is better out there."

Kelvin and Andy at Allen & Young coordinated three moves for me in three months. This involved moving and transporting huge pieces of furniture and many delicate items. Nothing was too much for them and the care and attention they showed was outstanding. They're reliable, hardworking and conscientious. They will always be my first port of call if I need something moved and I'm so grateful I found them in the first place. I highly recommend them.
