I booked United Taxis to go from Poole to Heathrow T3 on a Tuesday morning. It did not arrive after half a hour of waiting. I phoned twice and was told by operator that bookings at this time of day are not guaranteed(!) and that a driver would be assigned as soon as possible. But they take your money in advance! The excuse was heavy rain causing extra traffic and a busy school run! Not great service when you have a flight to catch! What is the point of booking a taxi for a specific time??!! I will never use United Taxis again. And will advise friends and family to avoid too. I was forced to cancel the taxi, drive myself to the airport and leave my car in a car park at increased expense. How can you justify this appalling service? Surely just don’t take the booking in the first place if you can’t provide a reliable service. And finally I was told my refund would take 3-5 days! The operator ‘handled’ me with indifference as if this was a regular occurrence. Shame on you United Taxis.

Usually very good. Depends what driver you get!
Used these a few times for airport trips mainly. Always had polite and friendly drivers. However on this occasion (Scottish) guy was really moody and unhelpful. Never spoke a word the whole journey either. Maybe don’t like English people 😆Needless to say he did not get a tip. Hope we don’t get him next time!!!!

Not happy with United cars Laindon .. booked a cab for my under 18 year old daughter for 5 o’clock in the evening, The cab didn’t turn up didn’t book her in which I never new until a hour later as I was in a meeting and had to have my phone off I have spent half hour worrying where she is and how she got to where she had to go to find out she walked there … thankgod I didn’t book for her to come home at 10 in the evening when it’s dark absolutely disgusting that they never booked in the cab and left my young daughter stranded I’ll never book a cab with these again and I’ll definitely never book one in advance either !!!!
Best driver in United taxi!
Richard who is a driver for united taxis is by far the best taxi driver in United, I cannot thank him enough for helping relocate our stolen bike yesterday.
He has got to know us personally and he is friendly and welcoming and a wonderful taxi driver, this weekend alone he has gone far and beyond for us. And we want to thank him and hope united taxis show him the same appreciation!!

They Did not turn up for shool run don't trust them
A man booked it and a woman rudly told me i hadn't and i have proof of the call on my phone. Messed up a school run booking didn't turn up then was rude on the phone and would not pick us up from the school for just the one way even. No help at all. The first time we have ever been late for the school run. Please please do not use them help support us in boycotting them. The app does not work well as I was at the crown in Northbourne and it did not say that. Also why is it when you ring the phone number you don't speak to a person you talk to a stupid computer this is the last time I will ever use you

Awful Service - Taxi doesn’t turn up
Don’t waste your time booking a taxi in advance! A complete waste of time. The app just tells you that they are looking for a driver and the call centre have no idea when your taxi that “you’ve pre-book” will actually arrive! Use another company!
What a rip off 7 min ride £12
If I could give 0 stars I would.
If I could give 0 stars I would, my mum is disabled and needed a taxi for Saturday. I called them Thursday and was told with it being a disabled vehicle that’s required you have to call up to 2hrs before pickup on the day. Called them on the day 2hrs before to then be told call back 30 mins before. Called back again to be told none available.
Just ridiculous, god help anyone that becomes disabled. Arranging transport for electric wheelchair access is a headache. This company from the start should have just said “sorry we can’t help”. Rubbish company will never use again!

I was waiting in the exact same place I told them to pick me up from. When I then called them to find out where my taxi was, they told me my driver went as I was a no show. I had not even recieved a text to tell me my driver was nearby more to the point he was NO WHERE to be seen. I wont be using their crap service ever again.
