Stopped working one week after return window. Replaced battery. Clip would not press on as in video. Husband and daughter tried unsuccessfully. Repeatedly emailed and called company, no response. Finally got a message from them asking to send my phone number but they never called. Then they asked for my email address - (again) but never got an email. Utter crap. Beware.

I had this Kardia Card for a little more than a year and using on my Samsung S20+.
I complained almost a year ago that it gives me "UNCLASSIFIED" result almost 95% of the time.
I lived with that anyway, and in April 2026 I trades my S20+ to S26+. and I cannot connect with my Kardia card. They told me that it is not compatible and suggested to go back to S20+ ??.

Professional user of Kardia 12L.
1) Requires a password to use, even while offline
2) The "Forget Password" function doesn't work.
3) The customer service (only phone number listed) cannot reset passwords.

I was having trouble with password reset on the Kardia ap so that I could use my Kardia Mobile card that I recently purchased. I called Kardia customer support on a Saturday morning and got a call returned by Mike, who was very patient and helpful with resetting the password. The card is now working well to record ECG.
Thank you, Mike.

Stay away of this company
Stay away of this company! Their products are expensive but worth nothing. The readings are terrible off and my cardiologist told me he couldn’t do anything with it’s readings. Also it sets false alarm by taking (AI) conclusions which aren’t true. Also it only detects certain cardiac arrhythmias when you pay (big!) so I think that’s totally irresponsible. If you send a reading for judgement you get only a report which they tell you has been reviewed by a doctor but doesn’t say anything but what the app already told you. I really think it’s a scam! When you contact support it takes weeks for them to reply with a standard answer not helping at all. I have so many regrets buying this device (KardiaMobile 6L) I hope the reviews warns future buyers.

I purchased Kardia 6L because I developed A-Fib, my doctor recommended the device. It worked fine for 13-14 months. I started having the following issues: it would stop working before completing a cycle; it would register electrical interference'; it even registered I was in rhythm when I was in AFib. I contacted Kardia, they told me what to try nothing worked. I contacted the electric company to come out and check for interference, they found nothing. I contacted Kardia again 3 times, I'm still waiting on a reply. It's very disappointing that they don't stand behind their product given the nature of the illness. Actual purchase 09/2024. The calendar below would not allow that date. An item should work effectively longer than a year. I'm writing this on behalf of my husband.

Amazing product. Always works and registers arythmias accurately. Saved me wearing a heart monitor. It recorded several SVTs and I gave them to my cardiologist who performed a successful ablation. Completely disagree with negative views. Have recommended the Kardia monitor to many.

This is a review for the KardiaMobile 6L personal EKG. When I first got it, it was a lifesaver. But within a few months it started being difficult to connect and stay connected. I reached out to support, and did everything they told me to do, but to no avail. They finally sent me a new one (and make me pay $25). It worked fine for a few weeks and now I'm back to the same issues. I can't get it to connect, can't get it to stay connected and rarely am able to complete a reading. By the time I do, my pulse is so high because I'm so mad! I've reached out to support and they just keep telling me to redownload the app. I have redownloaded the app multiple times, change the batteries, all to no avail. It takes forever to get a reading. It either doesn't connect or won't stay connected 75% of the time. They need to get this worked out!

I trusted AliveCor because this is a medical product, but their India warranty service has been chaotic.
I was first told I’d need to pay for return shipping. Then, after pointing to their own policy, they switched stories and sent a courier with no scheduling or notice — my building told me someone had shown up, and I got more than 12 calls while working.
They told me a replacement was shipped, but the tracking didn’t work. Then they claimed it was canceled because I’d requested a refund — which isn’t true.
I’ve never experienced such an unprofessional, inconsistent process for a medical device. I’ve documented everything and escalated it to AliveCor global and consumer protection authorities in India.
If you’re considering purchasing, be aware the after-sales service is unreliable at best. And the product in my case didn't even work.

This turns out to be a scam, I paid an annual subscription of $99 and now the app no longer works and support doesn't respond to emails or to the open ticket. I will have to report the scam to get the money back on my card

Alivecor UK sent my device by the next day in May 2025. As it turns out, this little 6 lead this week September 2025 has probably prevented me from having a second heart attack.
Although the device can’t detect a heart attack, after three days of central chest pain (thought it was stress and indigestion) I took a recording. My ECG had completely changed - I had inverted T waves and multiple PVC’s. I looked on line and this suggested death f the cardiac tissue - myocardial infarction/heart attack. I went to A&E. Although my tracing initially seemed to be normal, my blood tests showed huge increase in cardiac enzymes-a tell tale sign of attack.
So I’m in hospital now awaiting angiogram and probable stent insertion.
The A&E Dr told me it was useless and a waste of time because it “couldn’t diagnose an MI”. But it did - it showed me a completely abnormal ECG, nothing like it had recorded before. Just thinking I had had very bad indigestion and been a bit sweaty for three days wouldn’t have sent me to the emergency department to wait for hours.
This little device may well have saved my life, but because I am now under cardiology, hopefully my treatment will give me many more heart attack free years.

I hope this company succeeds. It's a good product. But, the customer service is poor. I had my 'subscription' renewed automatically, without a courtesy email...presumably from fear that I would unsubscribe. I would have renewed my subscription but, now, I'm a little less trusting and less loyal. Also, the social media monitoring on Trustpilot and similar is shockingly bad. I hope they employ some competent marketing people before it's too late.

Alivecor doesn't provide satisfactory customer service. Numerous times over many months they failed to establish data transmission of my readings to the doctor's office. They repeatedly assured me that they understood my issues and that the connection failure would be resolved. What was stated, though, proved to be lipservice. Following an attempt to seek BBB advocacy, Alivecor instead, simply canceled my subscription with no apparent attempt to correct the issue. This experience with AliveCor been very disappointing and provided no meaningful benefits to my healthcare or wellbeing. DON'T BUY OR TRUST KARDIA AND ALIVECOR!

Following major abdominal surgery I started noticing heart palpitations and a feeling of my heart lurching. My fitbit showed my heart was racing at 150-160bpm. The practice nurse advised me to get a kardia mobile as they are approved by Nice for detecting afib and the ECGs can be emailed which is easier than trying to capture an ECG at the GP practice when it is actually happening. The Kardia Mobile picked up both "Possible Atrial Fibrillation" and "Unclassified", as well as mainly "Normal Sinus Rhythm". I sent off one of each of the abnormal readings for clinical review and they came back confirming Atrial Fibrillation and Atrial Tachycardia. This tallies with the diagnosis I subsequently received from a cardiologist after wearing a 24hr ECG monitor. Although the cardiologist also detected Atrial Flutter, but I have only sent off 2 Kardia Mobile ECGs for review. I find it very useful when my heart starts pounding to be able to confirm what is going on with the Kardia Mobile. My fitbit does not pick up any of the Afib episodes although it shows me my heart is racing. Great device for helping me detect what was going on and great service from the clinicians in getting a quick analysis.

I returned the 6L device, cancelled my subscription (I thought) and never heard from them again, until recently. Turns out I've paying for 2 years and 3 months - I sent the proof of the return and refund and they gave me 3 months refund.
Very poor, given they can easily check when I last logged in and used the service.
Obvs they make it difficult to cancel, and we now know why.

It arrived ok, the instructions were very vague and clearly written by somebody who new exactly how it worked, which means a lot of details on set up were skipped over without a clear order of instructions.
My first problem was that AliveCor 6L would not give me a download of the App so I could register, they said get it off the Play Store, when I tried the PS refused me a download saying I already had two devices registered with them.
After a couple of days I located a Kardia 6L setup download from an independent site which worked and I registered, my first ECG reading failed for half a day because the instructions were so vague, I selected the 6L setting because that was what I bought and it failed because the 2 finger pad only works on Kardia 6 not the L version which needs a third contact on the back of the sensor.
The graph it produced was unreadable on my phone so I downloaded it to a pdf which was also hardly readable on the phone, I did notice that there was no calibration on the graph of blood pressure or time so the graph was meaningless.
So far Its a waste of money and time and I'll stick with the simple wrist monitors which are more reliable and easy to use.

I brought a KardiaMobile 6L from AliveCor.
If you connect the KardiaMobile 6L to your (Dustbin). It may work, you could try connecting It inside of your trash bin, it will work.
In other words AliveCor sent me a second hand rubbish contraption device, which broke down after one attempt. It is a rip off device, it needs to go to the trash tip.
AliveCor, will not give me a refund neither for the Kardia care.
The device is a con.
RUBBISH DEVICE
