Pickups and Parts Galore

Ordered a diverse array of gear, it arrived well packed and in great condition. Communication was clear and prompt, was able to rectify a stock discrepancy fast and had my order shipped quickly once resolved. I'd have appreciated a clearer timetable on build time estimates for handwound pickup orders visible in the basket when ordering, but that's just a minor quibble when the information is available with a little poking around the website. Cheers!

Very disappointed…

Very disappointed,guitar arrived late and although very well packaged,with a crack in the headstock and big ding in the body plus the bridge is at an angle so, if the head stock doesnt fall off this baby needs a ton of work..ps the pickups are great.

The guitar I have received is truly…

The guitar I have received is truly amazing. Everything is perfect about it. No defects. The only problem I had was the delayed time period. It took longer than expected for my guitar to arrive, but I can say it was worth the wait. Big thanks to the team that helped me throughout the whole process.

I purchased a case online a week ago

I purchased a case online a week ago. I wasn't getting info as far as emails on the shipment. I requested info on my shipment. I latter getting a email from a Alexander Green that there is an upcharge of $21 due to U.S tariffs.
I told him I was not going to pay a charge that was not agreed upon at the time of sale. Then, He sent me a whole explanation on how our our country and our U.S president was the cause of this upcharge. (no apology)
I found this very offensive and rude.
Who gave this employee right to
tell me about Tariffs?
I requested a full refund at that time.(which still hasn't appeared on my statement).
I requested refund status.
He send me a email telling me not to order from his country. What?
What kind customer service are they promoting?
I'm very dissatisfied with the way this was handled.
I will never order from this company again.

International taxes are the responsibility of the customer. They are a tax levied by a foreign government on their citizens. It is not a vendor's obligation to facilitate or notify a customer of the requirement for them to pay their own government. It is the responsibility for us to collect and remit tax on behalf of USA customers. Not a penny of this is ending up in our pocket. It is not offensive, nor rude, to explain how a tariff comes about, or how it works. It is not appropriate for us to apologise for your ignorance of how your border works.

Contrary to your belief, you have been speaking to the owner of the company, which makes your formal complaint seeking escalation rather pointless.

You were advised if you did not want to be subject to tariffs, and to save other international vendors from your inevitable abuse, that you should restrict your orders to within the borders of USA. If it was not obvious enough before, I was implicitly telling you to please not order from us again. Your last sentence of your review is rather ironic in light of this.

Visited the Alegree stand at the Guitar…

Visited the Alegree stand at the Guitar Show, Birmingham looking for a replacement Tune O Matic Bridge. Alex was really helpful and came out to our car to examine the guitar it was for. Shortly after, a Gotoh GT103B was retrieved from stock in his van and ready to collect on their stand. Super happy :-)

Brilliant

A great selection of quality guitar parts. I recently ordered another set of pickup sponges with springs.
These are brilliant and a huge improvement on the stock items.

If I could give this company negative 5…

If I could give this company negative 5 stars I would.
terrible customer service. I placed an order with this company through EBay, when I asked if the item was in stock after I ordered it no response till the next day, and they where up set about me asking the question so I requested a cancelation. I then placed the same order with Amazon only to find it was the same company. there response was to cancel both orders. Avoid this company at all costs, they clearly don't have the stock when you place a order. they make out they have a large stock of musical spares and clearly they don't. I think they just work out of a shed. that's my opinion. If you like dealing with a company that are very abrupt rude and slow at Email reply's then they are ok I guess. but to Me Avoid them.

We had 2 of the product you ordered in stock at time of order (amongst many thousands of other products in our 5,000 sq ft warehouse). You requested cancellation less than 24 hours after the message, before we had the opportunity to respond. You were abusive and nasty. We never cancelled any orders on you, you specifically requested both to be cancelled, so I was only too happy to oblige.

The website is reliable

The website is reliable, but it could include the VAT to EU countries to the final price to avoid "surprises", at the end I had to pay the extra VAT and another handeling (pretty unfair charge from the post service).
