Great service. A really good job. Very trustworthy. Reasonably priced. We will certainly be back with future work that needs doing.

I’ve been using Alby for years now, they are my absolute go-to for anything around the house, whether it’s plumbing, electrical, or general handyman work. They’re always reliable and honest, and the costs are reasonable. Yesterday, Jeff was the lovely chap assigned to me, and I must say, he got everything done in no time at all. Just splendid service, as always!
If I would give zero I could, unfortunately I'm not allowed to state just how bad this company is, as trust pilot software won't let me, but please avoid any doings with them, customer or contractor, you will save yourself a lot of problems,

Great work from the Jeffrey and the team that repaired my kitchen after a leak. They were clean and completed the work quickly!
Since Alby took over the project of reflooring and painting my mum's hallway, they have been in constant communication with me, which has made the whole process so much easier. Both Anthony Munatswa and Peter Cox have gone above and beyond to get this project finished, with a friendly and honest approach which is very refreshing to find. I would highly recommend this company, and would definitely use them again.
Arranged for maintenance work through our insurer after our kitchen was damaged. Alby did a full replacement which was done very well.
Anthony was very quick to respond and arranged the work to be done swiftly. He was polite, friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend.
I agree totally with the reveiw from Charlie H regarding Alby Asset Management. My claim was initiated in January 2024, work was approved and meant to start on 30 May but the independent Greek fellow had no ID and his van no Logo; his smiling Dad gave the loo one coat of paint but sadly the colour was ORANGE and not YELLOW.....then after less than 2 hours disappeared, have not seen since, damaged flooring (not all water damaged) was removed by
RAINBOW who used large circular saw to get as much of solid oak as possible however vibration from this industrial tool caused the paintings etc on wall to become unstable, crashed damaging lamp, picture and stag antlers....not their fault of course but then again common sense was not used or me advised to have things removed BEFORE this unnecessary removal of such a large quantity of floor which was NOT DAMAGED. Replacement flooring nightmare; no one calls me back from this dreadful Norwich company, I am lied to on a regular basis (as I believe are others in the SAGA "Chain". My life is difficult due to horrendous death of my husband and Inquest at the end of January 2024 .... have been diagnosed with PTSD through failures of NHS but I am not sure now how much longer I can take the disingenuous treatment of Alby and I get the distinct feeling they do not have appropriate experts to carry out repairs following water damage but I live in hope that since this has been going on sine January and we are nearly in August will I ever get my home back.......the flooring is the same all through the downstairs and samples sent to my home do NOT match the this flooring colour at all.
I do NOT even KNOW who requested the samples. Communication is dire and English from my perspective not great either......Claims Support at SAGA do help me as much as they can but even they are ignored ..... so what hope does a customer have?....ANSWER NONE....DO NOT BECOME A SAGA HOME INSURANCE CUSTOMER AS IT WILL COST YOU A LOT IN STRESS AND ANXIETY.......

Poor handling and communication from Anthony throughout and resulted in considerable time elapse from start to finish. Was told items required had been sourced but they hadnt and item required was now not available. Delay with insurance company caused by error at Alby with pictures not being provided to them when I had sent them. Overall a frustrating experience.
On a plus side, Luke and Rafal did a great job and really went the extra mile for us, working very long days to get everything finished

Alby Assett Management were given the job of repairing my electric gate after an accident, they were very polite and helpful when quoting for the work. They sent two workers to do the repairs who were very good and very thorough, the work was done to very high standard and I would recommend them for their good work.
Alby were asked to deal with the removal of the ceiling in my lounge due to water damage, replaster and redecorate. I ended up dealing directly with the tradesmen to arrange dates - they always kept to these and turned up with a smile. I think they underestimated the mess when they took the ceiling down but did clear up after themselves although they used one of my fur throws as a dustsheet! Plastering was done without too much mess. The painting of ceiling and walls was done very quickly but after they had left I realised they had not painted the windowsill or door frames. As the whole event took 3 months to do (not Alby's fault - I was away a lot) I just wanted to get all my furniture back into the room to live normally so I agreed to finish the painting myself.
Alby were appointed on behalf of our home insurance company to fix a leak in our kitchen. At first, they were attentive and polite but after issues with the quality of their appointed contractor, they soon become sour, uncontactable and unprofessional. Their contractor took nearly 6 weeks to remove our tiled flooring and replace with new flooring, whilst managing to damage our kitchen units. He cut our skirting wonky and damaged our walls, requiring us to get a trusted contractor to make repairs. When dealing with Alby, they were unprofessional - answering the office line with 'Hello' and talking to you as if you were either their mate or if you were causing them discomfort by asking for information/chasing queries. Emails become blunter and ruder once I had raised a complaint with my insurer, ending up with blunt one sentence emails with no greetings. I never received an apology for the poor service received and their true colours showed once they were found out as incompetent middlemen, incapable of pouring water out of a boot with the instructions on the heel. Additionally they told the contractor that they would fund all of the repair work, only to later state because I didn't have it in writing they wouldn't pay and I had to pay the contractor directly for the gap in funding.
This happened during a difficult time in my life, which Alby were made aware of, involving the health of my wife yet they didn't once try to own up to their mess and try to resolve matters honestly. They lied to keep their costs down and weren't interested in speaking with me.
Fortunately, my insurance company is regulated by the FCA, which means they cannot hide away from the mess caused the cowboys at Alby. They recognised the failings in my claim and apologised on their behalf. I received £500 in compensation for their poor service and in recognition of the amount I had to pay to the contractor for work they promised then reneged on. I also received an additional award of £225 to reimburse me for the mess their contractor caused which I had to pay to repair and fix. Still had to chase twice for £225 payment from Alby but glad after 6 months of chaos to be rid of them. Avoid at all costs and get a competent firm to handle your problems.
