Avoid this company - poor service

Crap company, caused substantial damage to my house, didn’t refund the skip hire even after citizens advice provided me with information and right under law for refund. Now I’m in the process of taking them to the small claims court. It’s been 2 months and no repairs have started left my property in a dangerous situation with sharp metal beading sticking out the wall. Broken bricks, cracks inside my house. The manager hasn’t made any effort in customer service to resolve the matter with refund for the skip, I am now waiting on the insurance which is a slow process. Unfortunately for them a refund of £300 for skip will now cost them considerably more with legal fees in court

Finally got my skip collected after I complained in writing that they were preventing disabled access. Funnily enough it was collected the very same day. When the driver turned up he said they weren't busy, and they'd been sitting around waiting for work!

Most unprofessional skip company around.
Don't do next day delivery they promise, then try and take skip away two weeks after booking date, not actually delivery date.
Agree a delay then take it anyway.

At end of works, request collection and two weeks later skip still blocking my drive, and office won't commit to collection as they're "extremely busy"

Do not use these people, total cowboys.

still waiting for a skip to be collected from our driveway. Skip filled and ready for collection 5/5/25 still waiting for collection 14/5/26. Called several times and staff assure we are on the emergency collection list.....Not the staff's fault who are polite and professional clearly a senior management issue. If you need a skip go elsewhere

Great Service, not an industry known for great customer service but Deanne and all the team are a pleasure to work with and really do go above and beyond. Would use no one else in this area for future projects.

Excellent Service from Start

I couldn’t be happier with the service. The booking process was quick and straightforward, the prices were very reasonable, and the delivery arrived exactly when promised. The driver Jason was friendly and professional and went out his way on a difficult job carefully placing the skip where I needed it.

Charlie is always a pleasure to talk to, he cracks me up. I appreciate how he always asks if there is anything I need from him which displays how proactive he is with his service.

2nd time I’ve ordered a skip and I’ve had great service. They’re really professional, always on time and really efficient.

This company has a total disregard for PRIVATE property and think it is completely acceptable to reverse and turn their skip delivery vechicle onto private driveways. It is a measure of the arrogance and disregard of the neighbours to their delivery sites when they have been sent a courteous request to refrain from the nuisance of trespass and continue to disregard private property.

We ordered the skip and the last time we ordered one from this company they left it with us for a couple of months, no problem. This time we ordered it and about two weeks ago I received a call from some woman saying that our time was up. We had it for only two weeks which of one week was snowed in. No way to use it as the driveway was full of snow and it was so miserably freezing cold couldn't work in the garage. I called back and spoke with Alan and explained to him we were moving back to my State of California and with the weather and all we haven't been able to use the skip. He said and I quote: "Ok use the skip for as long as you need it and give us a CALL when you are finished". Without warning or a phone call from the company they showed up took the skip and didn't even have the decency to knock on my door and tell me they were taking it....What kind of flipping company is this??? I say take your money elsewhere don't bother with them and that awful woman that will call you and tell you "times up". And they aren't cheap either!!

Staff are always so friendly.
The guys that bring/take the skips are also friendly and polite - great guys!
They are always quick with delivery and collection - not only are they the best to deal with but they are the best prices too!

Ordered a skip online late Friday evening. Turn up the next morning and they were able to place it over a wall with no issues. Rang today to have the skip collected and was told it could be a few days which was fine. They turned up within a few hours and collected the skip. Couldn't believe it, 5 star service from start to finish. Will definitely use again in future

I have been using the easy online booking service for 6 years, never been let down, and always get the skip I have ordered, on the date requested, the drivers are great, open gates, collect or swap skips, close the gates on departure, 5* service.

Don't bother with ASH unless you want your driveway to be used as free storage for their skip.

We ordered a skip that was to be left for two weeks. After three weeks and a full skip, nobody had come to collect it. My husband called to arrange a collection, and the skip hadn't been collected after over four weeks. I called to ask when it would be collected, and the collection hadn't been booked in. I was then told they can't tell me when the skip will be collected as it's their busiest time of year.

Skip is still on our drive almost five weeks after it was delivered.

Have used Alan's for a number of years now but won't be using again. A change of policy meant the builders skip we hired was dropped off and picked up within two weeks with no call to see if we had finished using it. As such the job was not finished. This is the second time this has now happened with Alan's and it's clear they are on a mission to drive up income by making you rebook for small extensions. I'm sure I'll get a bolier plate response of contract terms but two weeks for a builders skip is taking the proverbial. The end result though is I'm afraid lost customers rather than more income. Annoyed from Northop!
