See my message below. After several months Akool has returned the money that was written off from my credit card. Apart from this issue. I have used their product for several months. It has helped me a lot. So, great product but beware for your credit card

I have used Akool translation models for several months with great succes. Early this year I stopped my account but they still write off money from my credit card. I have contacted Akool via their webmail three times. No answer, no comment received at all. Peter Albers, Netherlands

No reply on better business bureau to other people. perhaps they will finally reply here. Somehow charged my card after it was cancelled.

Horrible product first of all. They tricked me into a yearly subscription first off. I said monthly because I wanted to try it out first. But charged my card 1000 dollars for a year. Immediately I try and contact them to cancel and said they couldn’t because I’d used a few credits. And to top it all off there product isn’t good half of the stuff don’t even work. So I paid a 1000 dollars for pretty much a worthless product.

After a misunderstanding , the Akool group reimbursed my subscription second payment, thx you

This is fraud. Absolutely malicious. Honestly, I wouldn’t even give it one star. My money was withdrawn without my consent.

To explain in detail: I paid for the Pro annual plan on July 23, 2025.
Since then, I haven’t made any upgrades or changed any credits, yet on August 24, a charge of $912 was withdrawn without my permission!
It’s an annual plan — that means the next payment should be a year later, right?
What’s even worse is that no receipt was issued!

How can something like this be allowed? I would never have noticed if I hadn’t checked my credit card statement.
If you’re reading this, please go check yours too!
I absolutely cannot trust this company anymore.
To be charged such a large amount without knowing is just… unbelievable.
I happened to catch it because I always check my statements, but what if I had stopped using the service?
Would they keep secretly charging me without me even knowing?
That fear is going to stay with me.

I’m Japanese, and $912 is about ¥140,000 — that’s way too expensive.
I’m furious, and honestly I’m not even sure if I’ll get my refund.

What is going on here?
If this is a system error, then isn’t it likely affecting many other people, not just me?
It would be strange if it only happened to me and no one else.

I’ve already reached out for support — I truly hope they respond sincerely.

Sucks balls because I clicked on one of their cheaper options then immediately got over 400 dollars drained from my bank account which in needed screw this company Who thinks scamming is a good thing but forget that they could shove their prices and their no refunds up to the moon for all i care and their care free persona is just not it I'm done

I just purchased a one-month subscription to this company to colorize black and white videos based on the information provided on their website, and what I found was a basic video editor that is completely useless and a crap. There is no option to colorize videos. Of course, I immediately canceled the subscription because I feel cheated.

Selecting the monthly plan is just a scum they charge you any way if u go to they master lavirint plan to even find the unsubscribe option

The platform sucks. You cant cancel your account through the website you need to email them directly. Their avatars suck too, Hey Gen gave me much better results
