The Akazuki Japanese Goods store is a perfect way to share the beauty and simplicity of japanese style household goods with loved ones. Our set of Donburi bowls are elegant, magnificent, durable and are the highlight of the dinner table. Donburi bowls are perfectly suited for serving a traditional Don meal (which is rice topped with food). So much of our dinners rely on the presentation of the meal making our dinner hour so much more enjoyable. I will undoubtably purchase goods from Akazuki time and again. ありがとうございました

I purchased a couple of items from Akazuki Japanese store and I have nothing but positive things to say. Everything including my Japanese tea pots were wrapped with care. Nothing was damaged. My order arrived earlier than expected. I will continue to support this store.

The Akazuki Japanese Store is a 5 star site. My orders came quick and arrived in excellent condition. My chopsticks came packaged in gift boxes that enhanced my joy upon arrival and they were shipped with care. I ordered the Edo glasses and I am over joyed with the quality . Beautiful glasses . And the shipping of these delicate glasses was impressive. They arrived in perfect condition. I can’t say enough how pleased I am with this site. The Akazuki store has Impeccable service. I highly recommend these folks to ship the same joy to your home. They do it correctly.

I've used Akazuki for Secret Santa gifts before and everyone has loved it. The only downside is that they're slow to respond since they're in a different country.

I was mistakenly shipped the wrong product, but customer service immediately handled it and sent me the correct one, even letting me keep the other one. They were so friendly and accommodating that I felt I was in good hands, and they proved it with their quick delivery. The product made for a great present for my relative, who was missing her favourite Japanese dishes. I will definitely order from them again!

I will be ordering more products. This store is superb and the products are high quality goods.

Incredible service!!
Broke a Japanese dish I’d purchased in Japan years ago.
Searched for days on internet, found Akazuki website and contacted them to see if they might have one.
They asked for photos including bottom with signature.
Less than 24hrs later they informed me that the designer had died some years prior so only possible replacement would be second hand.
They then FOUND me a set of vintage dishes in exactly the same size, shape and a very similar complimentary pattern….I did have to purchase the whole set which comprised four tiny and four medium and they negotiated a reasonable price with the vendor.
They were chatting with me over internet while on phone to seller at same time and organised purchase.
Within two weeks of first contacting Akazuki my ‘new’ dishes arrived via DHL
I was concerned about fragile porcelain being couriered internationally but they were so well packed I needn’t have worried!
All 8 plates are perfect and I now have a beautiful set.
Thank you so much Akazuki…you solved my almost impossible problem. Your service is well beyond the expected!!

Great products, perfect timing, and delivered with care. I was a bit nervous about buying from a site/shop based in a different country but the complete process was safe and the products were exactly what was shown online.
