I’ve been using Aitopia.ai for a while now and it’s honestly been a great experience. Having multiple AI tools and models in one place saves a lot of time.
While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

Well, I received the same popup like many others via the chatgpt site popup.
Obviously the chats do not work like promised.
It's indeed a scam
Total scam. While using ChatGPT, a pop-up appeared that made it look like I was purchasing a ChatGPT subscription. It was not clearly disclosed that this was a third-party service called AITOPIA. I selected what I believed was a one-month plan, but $138 was charged for a one-year subscription without clear consent.
After payment, the service is completely unusable — I cannot access anything and I’m repeatedly redirected to a payment page. There is no way to cancel, and my refund requests have been ignored. After checking online, I see many users reporting the exact same issue. Avoid
TOTAL FRAUD. THE AI DOES NOT WORK AS INTENDED AND REACHING OUT TO SUPPORT IS NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE. THEY DID REACH BACK AFTER ME WANTING TO CANCEL AND OFFERED 50% OFF THE SUBSCRIPTION. STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE DISCOUNT. AFTER A FEW WEEKS TRYING TO USE THE PLATFORM, I STILL GET ERROR MESSAGES. ONE OTHER EMAIL I GOT BACK FROM SUPPORT AND ASKED FOR SCREENSHOTS AND I STILL HAVE NO HEARD ANYTHING IT'S BEEN OVER TWO WEEKS. I KEEP EMAILING ASKING FOR CANCELATION AND REFUND BECAUSE THEIR WEBSITE DOES NOT HAVE A CANCELATION BUTTON AND NO RESPONSE.
Total scam! Like others on this thread I had a pop-up menu show up on my ChatGPT account where it looked like I could save some money on an annual subscription. I thought I was conducting business with ChatGPT, I wasn't, it was with AITOPIA. They get my $199 and I have a "service" that I can not access and I can't cancel. They can not make it any more difficult to contact them, there is no way to cancel with them. They ignore my cancellation requests!
Aitopia GPT is a scam. It is a phishing site that overlays a pop up page on top of your Chat GPT page and makes you think you are upgrading to a Chat GPT Plus plan. I stupidly subscribed and entered my visa details. Big mistake! I immediately tried to unsubscribe but Aitopia has no cancellation button on the subscription page. It seems I now need to cancel my VISA card and get a new card issued. Also, have to un-install the extension via Chrome.
They go for the throat immediately, trying to squeeze some dollars out of you. Good idea, but not very well executed.
Scam!!! Nothing to do with chatgpt and openai. Took my money and do not communicate. Pretending to be part or upgrade of gpt!!!
It is a big scam. Aitopia showed up on my ChatGPT, attracting you to sign up to use multiple models together. Ever since I signed up, it always replies to a couple of my questions and then errors out or says lost internet connection. While ChatGPT works perfectly every single time. I sent them multiple requests for a refund, and they have not responded to any single message. STAY away, it's a super doughy extension.
I like to have this sidebar, but the UI is totally unusable. When it gives an answer it always scroll down, but it constantly SCROLLS DOWN EVEN AFTER THE ANSWER for long seconds after the answer... so when I try to read a longer answer i always have to struggle this idiot UI to read the text. yep it offers to copy the content and paste it somewhere else - but actually I dont want to copy it I just want to read it where I asked a question :( this is crazy. I'm using the latest chrome (at date 250930) - but this scroll issue exists since the beginning (1.5y now)
Also I had login issues previously, I've sent multiple support requests to them via email - I've got no answer. Luckily my login issues are restored after some month. It is a bit bad if I payed for this service :(
Also I miss the AI voice option to actually talk with this tool.
I wanted to purchase a subscription to GPT Chat, your advertisement popped up and I accidentally purchased ---twice--- your premium subscription that I am not interested in.
Invoice number HCH80S2U-0004
And also HCH80S2U-0001
There is no option on your website to cancel the subscription, which is completely unacceptable and not nice that you operate this way.
I request cancellation of the subscription and a full refund of the payment made.
I would appreciate your approval.
In addition, I did not receive any email from you about the purchase
The worst customer service ever. A bug that goes into your google chrome and then so difficult to delete as the customer service is poor. And for an AI company they have no customer service. I have over 1.7 million followers on socials and I manage to get back to everyone. Without AI. They charge you also $500 a year for this crap!
