Air with flavour has transformed daily life for my son.
In his own words: 'The foam tasters mean that I can have tastes of many different foods even though I cannot eat by mouth.
I really enjoy them very much, and they have opened up my life and enable me to enjoy food again.
Im nil by mouth and not had any food or drink down my throat for a couple of years. One of the speech and language team at my hospital attended a training course relating to this device and suggested it to me. It is not available on the NHS and you have to purchase it yourself. I have used it for a number of months now and well worth the investment. I even have the odd beer which is something I miss the most lol. It's simple to use and works well with coffee, tea etc.
OMG what can I say other than this has been life changing for my sister. From being a chef to now unable to eat. To once again taste flavours, is amazing for her.
That much so that I have just ordered one for my godson to be able share the magic.
